We stop for coffee here every time we are in the village. They staff could not be nicer, and it's a really cool spot to hang out. I love that they offer every kind of milk possible. My favorite is the cold brew vanilla bean latte with coconut milk. We will definitely keep coming back. Trust me. Keep walking right past Starbucks. It's so worth it. read more

My coffee experiences; Consistently tasty coffee. Great customer service. Nice atmosphere. Convenient and usually very little waiting. 'For here' cups and some light pastries to compliment coffee. Seems somewhat dog and kid friendly. I come here for coffee often and I've had some of the (limited selection) pastries/bagels w/coffee . The space has really nice rustic winery feel but I could look a little cleaner. I guess it is a working space too so there will be some of that. Would be amazing if the patio had a kid friendly corner or something given the amount of parents and kids that frequent. Highly recommended! read more

Inside the Witch Creek Winery. The coffee is pretty good and the ambience inside the winery is an added plus. Only comment would be for them to add some tables near electrical outlets to do work at and encourage you to stay and buy more coffee. Fantastic cold brew! One of the bests I've had in San Diego county. I purchased a bag of their fresh roasted coffee. I haven't tried it yet but it smells great and the barista ground it on the spot for me. He also gave me an extra free cold brew since they were out of their fresh brewed hit coffee that they give as samples. Can't wait to go back! Much appreciated location to escape from the often noisy, fast paced, business of other coffee shops. I'm grateful for the spaciousness of being here. Very creative spot for entrepreneurs. And seems they are designed by two totally different minds, one style for the bar and one for the café. Different owners? Walked here from the beach with my friends and got a coconut latte with soy milk. It's the cutest little space with pretty good coffee. I also love that all of the syrups are house-made. Such a nice touch. Also, the when the barista noticed that my friend had a hot chocolate from the Starbucks next door, he made him another hot chocolate for FREE to show him just how much better it was. Innocently strolling along the 101, enjoying the sea breeze morning with my baby, and an aroma of coffee, whipped its lasso around my waist and curled me in. The coffee chose me so to speak. "How did I end up here? Who am I? What am I?" Nervously standing at the counter and gathering my wits, the barista approaches. "Am I ready, shoot, what do I want? She's staring, waiting, judging." My attention was quickly shifted to my 11 month old, who started to act as if my arms were lava. "Play it cool," I think as I order. Her face, blank, no expression, no hello, no smile, no witty coffee greeting...nothing. She was colder than the ice, sending chills down my spine. She glanced at the baby, I'm pretty sure I saw her gag (I get it kids aren't for everyone). I quickly blurted out my order, in no time it arrived with its clever artistic foam leaf that I'll quickly cover with a lid, or attempt to cover. As I wrangle the baby in one arm and pay with the other, she hands me the piping hot coffee without the lid (perhaps to see the art?). As the baby is reaching for the coffee to really test out what lava feels like, I quickly pull him away. The barista stands there and stares- nothing, no help, no offer to grab a lid nothing. As I search for the lids, I see that they are closer to her than me, a simple assist would have been much appreciated. I should have asked for help but I didn't. Baristas can be so intimidating, right?!? The good news is, no one was injured, the bad news is, the service is about as dry and non friendly as sleeping on a cactus in the desert. Coffee was okay- a little burnt in my opinion - but I do not claim to be a coffee czar. Ambiance, was nice, good music, but the people were not friendly. Two other people working there were not friendly - no smiles which I consider odd for a place that is there to provide a happy treat for people. read more
