I came here twice in one weekend, which I NEVER do. I was in Chattanooga for a music festival and when I travel, I love trying new coffee shops. I usually go to 1-2 per day and usually try a new shop each day. I came here on my first morning and got a hot dirty pumpkin chai latte with oat milk to drink and a pumpkin spice donut. Both items were amazing. The donut was the perfect amount of pumpkin and the icing on top was so good. The donut itself was pretty dense, but very good. The drink was incredible. On the second morning, I tried looking up other places in town and nothing online stood out enough to make me go somewhere else. On the second morning, I got an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. It was good but definitely not the best PSL I've ever had. I'm still giving this place 5 stars though because the shop was super cute, the staff were friendly, and the donut and pumpkin chai were impeccable. Went twice in one weekend and would tell any person I know going to Chattanooga to go here. Will also go back next time I'm in town. read more

My husband and I were looking for a place to get coffee while in Chattanooga. We love coffee shops and this place was very cute! There is a separate room to work in/drink your coffee and they had the place decorated very nicely! I love all the plants as well. Customer service was great. As far as the iced mocha I got, it was not my favorite...too sweet for my liking. My husband got a cold brew...he liked it, described it as "very smooth"...it wouldn't be his go-to spot for cold brew but said he would have it again! read more

It's smooth and tasty. A great morning break stroll from the office. There's a separate room across from the shop if you want to hang out a bit. Peaceful even though downtown. I really enjoyed my coffee. I chose the vanilla lavender iced latte. It had the perfect touch of lavender & vanilla. The calming affect of the plants must be overflowing to the workers because despite the busy Saturday morning, they were so relaxed & efficient. We're in town for a race so if in the area I would definitely go back for their coffee. We got the coconut & cookies & cream donuts to split. Adorable local coffee shop located in the beautiful James Building. To the left is a room to place your order that's full of light with pretty pink & white tile. The barista's were friendly enough, and had our orders together in a very reasonable amount of time. Both coffees (flat white and an iced PSL) tasted great & helped to start our morning off on the right foot when faced with running after kids for the day. There is also a beautiful room off to the right hand side used as a seating area that was full of plants and felt very cozy. I wish we had been able to sit there and enjoy! read more

Really great coffee spot! I recently returned for the second time and was disappointed to find that it is closed on the weekends, but it makes sense considering it's downtown location. Still, had such a great experience the first time I had to Yelp about it. Firstly, the space is just so cool. It's inside a beautiful old downtown building with crown-molded ceilings, grand columns, etc. but especially cool is that the coffee bar is on one side of the entrance and then you walk across the hall to this room with super high ceilings, huge windows looking out to the street, and all kinds of plants and greenery all over the walls. It's an equally good insta spot and LinkedIn headshot spot haha. Second, the employees are just so friendly. First time here. We tried the brewed coffee with flavor. I got mocha flavored, and my wife got caramel flavored. Both coffees were amazing. Perfectly brewed with amazing flavor. The girl working was very friendly providing excellent service too, as she discounted the coffee due to it being the end of the day. We tried to go to sleepyhead coffee on Sunday but realized they were closed, so made a quick stop on our way out of town on Monday morning and thank goodness we did! The team at sleepyhead made us want to stay in Chattanooga and not come home. I know if I lived near Chattanooga I would become a regular at sleepyhead! They had an awesome selection of vegan and gluten free pastries which are so hard to find and vegan pumpkin spice!!! The pumpkin spice was amazing and creamy and tasted like fall in a cup. I was so excited about the pumpkin spice that I forgot to buy coffee beans on our way out, but I 100% should have! Everything about this place is intended to say "everyone is welcome here!"...and they deliver. The shop itself is very small and well lighted. The staff was very friendly. Matter of fact even the security person in the lobby was really friendly. The only downside was the coffee. I got a shot of espresso and it was really terrible. When I ordered my shot, I noticed their espresso machine was a Slayer. I thought, "oh, they have great equipment, these people know what they are doing." But, for whatever reason the espresso was really poorly made. Very very sour. When I got back to the hotel I added cream and sugar, but is couldn't cover up the sour taste. One to order and the other to sit and enjoy your drink. They also sell plants here. Succulents and cactus are available for purchase. The coffee itself is on point. Adorable shop and location. Yummy coffee with homemade syrups. We had our own coffee shops and coffee roasting business and can tell how much care these folks put into their product and their business. I had a vanilla latte and hubby had a decaf mocha. Stayed at the Westin downtown Chattanooga and this quaint shop was a couple of blocks from the hotel, which is a nice quiet walk. When I tell you that the coffee was fantastic, I mean fantastic! Oh, coffee is not created equal, but this is at the top of the chart. We got a latte with oat milk and a cold brew with vanilla and both were satisfyingly yummy. The vegan donut was interesting as it seemed more like a muffin with a whole cut in the middle, but was still very tasty and filling. I certainly recommend this shop and the customer service was superb. read more
