They have a few styles of pizza to choose from: New York - "crispy crust with a chewy center and toppings that pay homage to the classic pizzerias of the Big Apple" Sicilian - "thick and fluffy focaccia pan crust with a nod to the rustic, cooking of Italy, with robust flavors and hearty toppings" Grandma - "pan-fried thin crust that is a tribute to the matriarchs of Italian cooking with a burst of homegrown flavors" Detroit - "deep-dish pan crust with a crispy cheese edge and a respect for the motor city's rich pizza history" I've only tried their NY crust but that Sicilian style sounds really tasty. Their cheese pizza is good. Their pepperoni is good. Their Hawaiian Hitman is delicious. Their pasta is really good too. I haven't had anything I didn't like so far. This location is slightly hidden right next to Musashi across the street from the church. It's easy to miss. Parking is fine. I have tried their Simi Valley location but glad this location opened up closer to me. I have been here over a dozen times and tried most of their pizzas. I prefer their Detroit style pizzas and my favorites are the Sweet Gino and the Hawaiian Hit Man which has entire slices of pineapple on them instead of little pineapple chunks. The reason for the 4 stars is that I found some of their pizzas are too salty for me. I found myself taking off a lot of pepperoni toppings because it was too salty. I had seen this place before but never bothered to come in until today. The service was a breeze, easy to order, and great tasting food. I was very amazed of the meatball being so flavorful, and not dry. We got the picante pizza and it really lived up to its name! It was SPICY. The Serranos/ jalapeños on the pizza as a topping were really spicy. Each slice of pizza at this spot range from $6 to $9 is pretty decent size. I think its really up to the person to decide whether they'd personally spend that much on a slice of pizza. We've been meaning to try Slice House for a while. Glad we finally got to check it out. We ordered a xl size hot honey pizza. The pizza took a normal amount of time to come out, but what we found odd was some people were handed a buzzer and we weren't. After a while, we went inside to ask if it was ready since we had no buzzer. They sort of rudely asked back well where's your receipt. We showed the receipt and then they said our pizza was ready. Sort of an odd interaction, but they brought over our pizza. They give paper plates which are honestly too small for the massive slices (see pic for reference). The pizza itself is very tasty, but I removed a star for weird service vibes. I would recommend getting their wings too with their hot honey or buffalo sauce. Finally was able to swing by this newest Slice House location in Porter Ranch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the single slice pizzas were served up hot and tasty. I opted for the Hot Honey slice for this lunch stop. It was reheated in the oven quickly and tasted delicious. Great combination of pepperoni, sausage and hot honey drizzle for a sweetness to counter the small spice of the meat ingredients. Overall, a small layout compared to other locations in the area (Santa Clarita), but nice for a quick visit or lunch. Plenty of tables, bar seating and two flat screen TVs playing sports. Came here for lunch with a couple co-workers. They had some ready made pizza which was great so we didnt have to wait. I grabbed a slice of the little Italy which is the soecial on Fridays. I also got a slice of the angeleno which has bacon, pepperoni, sausage, ricotta and hot honey. The flavor was great and balanced the spice, sweet and salty profile very well. I've been meaning to try it and glad they had one near work. They had plenty of room here on the outside if the inside gets filled up. At first I was thrown off by a slice being $7.75 but that thing was filling. Totally enough for a meal on its own. First time trying it and I had high hopes for this pizza. My brother and dad already tried their pizza at another location and had ordered just individual slices and they didn't think it was that good. However, I figured it might be different if you order an entire pizza instead of just by the slice. Here's what I ordered I ordered three 12" pizzas for take out. Their gold medal winning Cal Italia, the Veggie and a Tomato Pie. I also ordered a Caesar salad and a Bucatini w/ meat sauce. Before I get to the pizzas, the bucatini was probably something I would skip getting again. It wasn't very good. The Cal Italia was a great combination of sweet and savory. The gorgonzola added a unique sharpness to the blend of flavors and made for a memorable flavor filled bite. The Veggie pizza was a solid pizza. The only thing I'd change when ordering again is to tell them to take off the peppadews. My wife and toddler weren't expecting anything remotely spicey on the pizza so it took them by surprise. The Tomato Pie pizza was a basic pizza that didn't really shine or stand out. I thought that the garlic and basil that was listed as ingredients would boost its flavor but I didn't really sense that when chowing down on it. Overall, the crust for the pizzas was firm and crispy on the outside yet was still soft and chewy on the inside. A slice folds nicely and you don't have to worry about it flopping all over the place. The negatives for ordering multiple different pizzas for take out were that the pizzas probably came out at different times so they weren't hot when I brought them home but I did end up heating them up a little bit in the oven set a 200 degrees. read more

The Slice House is finally open!! Hooray! Been waiting for so long for this location. Became a fan of Slice House from their other locations and it has quickly become one of my favorite pizza places. Love that you can get thin crust, deep dish, Detroit style and grandma style all at the same place. I normally get a Detroit style or deep dish as well as a thin crust just to mix it up. They have different style of crusts and pizza everyday of the week, but try them all. The pasta here is really good as well, chewy, homemade tasting, recommend it. They have seating inside, but a bit limited based on the space, but they also have a very large back patio to eat at as well. The decor is the same as all the other Slice Houses, brick walls, dark paint, minimal and modern. Cool custom painted pizza boxes on the walls. Welcome to the neighborhood, guys! I've tried Slice House in Burbank and Simi Valley and was excited to watch this location open. The inside is beautiful snd clean and the outside patio is great and overlooks a beautiful waterfall feature of the plaza. The pizza here is epic. I tried the Sweet Gino and Angeleno square slice pizzas and got a side of hot honey. Both pizza squares were incredibly delicious, the dough was slightly crispy, crunchy and the meats and other toppings tasted super fresh. I first discovered Slice House when they opened in Thousand Oaks and became a fan, so I was excited to try the Porter Ranch location since a friend who lives out there wanted to try for the first time. I ordered: Grandma Style Sweet Gino - Sweet Tomato Sauce, Sliced & Ovoline Mozzarella, Basil & Sea Salt Gemelli with Pesto Sauce - Fresh Gemelli Pasta, Pesto, Garlic, Sun Bathed Tomatoes, Goat Cheese House Craft Salad - Mixed Greens, Castelvetrano Olives, Red Onions, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnuts, Peppadews, Balsamic Reduction & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Everything had great flavor, but I will say the pizza and especially the pasta was very oily, which is why I'm giving one less star. They have their own back patio, which is really nice on a warm night. The only downside is that it faces a main street, so it can get a bit noisy. Parking at the Porter Ranch location is very easy and free since it's part of a larger outdoor shopping center, which is a big plus. Service was fine and I got my food fairly fast. I stopped by Slice House for their grand opening on Saturday and I was blown away. I got Ginos slice and knew it would be good, but it ended up being the best pizza I have ever had. The grandma crust was perfectly crunchy without being hard. The ingredients tasted so fresh and the sauce + cheese were perfectly balanced. I am so happy I tried a slice with the grandma crust because I'm convinced that was the secret to making it the best pizza ever. I still need to confirm by trying all the others, they have sicilian, detroit and NY crusts too. We were so excited to try Slice House Pizza in Porter Ranch after friends kept recommending their other locations -- and it did not disappoint! My husband picked up a large pepperoni pizza, and let me just say... it was HUGE. Definitely more than enough for two people. One slice for me was more than enough -- the slices are true New York-style, big, foldable, and generous. The pizza tasted incredibly fresh, delicious, and authentic. You can really tell the quality is there. Perfect crust, great sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. Parking can be hit or miss since it's located in the busy Porter Ranch strip mall with Ralphs Market nearby. I ordered the Monday pickup special, an XL pepperoni pizza, meatballs, and chocolate cookies. The pepperoni pizza had a crispy crust with generous pepperoni in every bite, the meatballs were tasty, and the cookies were a perfect sweet finish. Came in last week since I was able to snack on too good to go app. They have their pick up time from 8:55-9:15 but they close at 9. I got there about 9:05 and the door was locked, so I knocked and tried to get the attention of staff but was left standing outside for about 10 minutes. I tried calling the store with no luck either. Warm colors, brick-like decor and seating lend an upgrade to usual decor. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. We ordered takeout so, there wasn't much interaction with the staff. That individual was friendly and helpful. A wide variety of pizzas begins with selecting your preferred artisan style -- New York 12" & 20" (thin); Detroit (thick), Grandma (thick, square), and Sicilian (rectangular, thick). Next choose your preferred toppings. Most have the ability to add or remove toppings. We had the pepperoni and sausage, add mushrooms and linguica. The pizza had generous portions of toppings, was tasty and foldable, but the crust was not quite as soft as NY pizza. Still, I would order it again. Wings cooked perfectly -- one of the best in the area. Salad - can't get enough of the Craft Salad with candied walnuts, olives, tomatoes with balsamic dressing. The sauce is ice cold but the crust is crunchy. The same man and woman that was here last time I came seem to be more professional this time around. The pepperoni slice is extremely greasy and I used so many towels to wipe it but they're cheap and super thin. If you serve pizza on the lowest quality paper plates and charge $4 for bottled water that's not named brand than this place won't last. I don't think I've ever spit pizza out in my whole life until age 41. This is definitely a zero for me but Yelp will bump it up to one star not by my choice at all. Went on Saturday after remembering it was opening day. Surprisingly, the line just after 11 wasn't that long. The Simi opening was super busy. But also opened later in the day. Was good as always.
