We love the pizza but the service tonight was not good. We ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of Drunk Italian. We got our number and went and sat down. After 25 minutes I went to the counter to ask about our pizza. They evidently had given it to the wrong table and now they were out of the Monday special. We settled for two pieces of pepperoni. No compensation for the wait or mixup. Just disappointed in the service tonight. Decided I need to be sure and get a receipt from now on because they wanted to ring me up again for my pizza. read more

First time here, and probably not a go-to for me in the future. The pizza slices sit under a warmer all day, so I avoided those, but you can purchase full pizzas, made fresh. I do like that they have different styles of crust: Sicilian, New York, Detroit, & Grandma. We went with the Grandma crust, but would love to try the Sicilian crust. As for the pizzas, we ordered the BBQ Chicken and the Cal Italia. The crust was excellent. Crispy around the edges, and soft and buttery everywhere else. Great combo of flavors for each, but honestly, they're very stingy with the meat, especially on the Cal Italia. We got ONE very small piece of prosciutto per slice. If you add the little pieces together, you might be able to piece together a full slice of it. Let's just say they're heavy on the cheese and light on the rest of the toppings, but I'm basing this off only three pizzas. I will also say their medium-sized pizza costs $24, so there's no excuse for the slim pickins. The third pizza was a bite of a slice that my husband ordered on the way out. It was a blackberry/potato/cheese/red pepper flake pizza that I don't remember the name of, but my husband loves ot! He likes the sweet with the heat. I tried a bite, and I totally disagree...not a good combo. The potatoes doesn't vibe with the rest of the ingredients, IMO. Purchased a pizza on 4/7/2026. Nicole took my order. 1 GMA Hawaiian Hit Man an 1 Caesar Salad. Total was $40.55 *Square pizza of 9 pieces/slices. I came in to check it out. Wanted to see how it was run. How the pizza was made. I read thru all their literature. Took 30 minutes to make my order. Got it home. *Salad was just Romaine lettuce with thinly sliced Parmasean cheese and thinly sliced bread with butter and garlic on it and small dressing on the side. The young woman who took my order said they made their own dressing. So I guess I expected better. My father had a restaurant in which he made his Caesar salad at the guests table, so I am well acquainted with the ingredients. I could have gotten the same quality at the Winco next door. *Pizza was another story. Sauce was very sweet. Sugary. Not tomato sweet. Not spicy sweet either. Crust was a bit on the chewy side. *Pineapple/CB was in thin round slices. *Now I'm the strange person who likes cold pizza to snack on. This pizza cold did not taste good at all. In fact it lost flavor. *I talked to 2 neighbors that I trust. One said he and his brother had bought a pepperoni but that it was so greasy they couldn't eat it. Wasn't really expecting anything crazy but this pizza was surprisingly good. I got the cheese and pepperoni slice. First thing I noticed was how massive the slices were. Much larger than your traditional NYC pizza slice. The slices were served hot. Both slices were crispy but not hard. The crust was really crunchy and the undercarriage looked good. The cheese was stringy and the pepperoni was crunchy too but not burned. The restaurant was well decorated and had a chill vibe to it. The staff were nice. I would like to say that I think the mgmt heard me! I rolled in on a recent Saturday and the place was busy yet clean, I got the second to last Detroit style Motorhead slice! But low and behold, they had another four slices come out as soon as I was given mine. I have finally been able to try it and snagged a road one haha. The bacon is the perfect crispness, not burnt and not floppy, the rocotta cheese was the right amount so it wasn't messy with that flavorful tomato sauce. The basil was fresh and paired with the salami and pepperoni, it all hit the spot and I'd say my fav slice to date. Thank you Slice House team for the continued great service and quality pizzas! One of the BEST za places around. We drive over from Middleton, it's so good. I love the variety of options. The Detroit style has super crunchy cheese edges that are a cheese lover's dream. The New York style is the perfect balance of thick and thinner crust without it being too cracker thin. This one is my fav style. The Sicilian style is good too but it's a thicker crust. Grandma is pretty good but takes 4th place in terms of crust styles. Wise Guy and Motorhead are definitely worth trying. Sure it's pricier than other pizza places around but it's leagues above several competitor chains available. Love the option to order in advance via the app & get reward dollars. My husband told me about this pizza joint while I was in Utah healing from my kidney transplant. Now that I'm back, of course I'm going to bring my husband here for pizza. Pizza is his favorite food and after his physical therapy appointment today, he most definitely deserved it. I did check out the menu online first. I got myself the meatballs today. My husband got a whole cheese Detroit style pizza. He had some options with the pre made pizzas but you can tell they were sitting for a while. Non of them looked fresh. With his first experience here, he had to get a fresh pizza. We got ourselves situated while our food was being prepared. I love the red walls here. I also adore all the custom designed pizza boxes. It is such a neat way to show someone's creativity with a pizza box. Every box was different and unique. My meatballs came out first. I got 6 hearty meatballs in a pasta bowl. It was topped with a little parmesan and fresh basil. Eating my first meatball, I noticed that it wasn't really hot. I wish that that wasn't the first thing I noticed. It was savory and rich. The sauce was delicious and bright. I finished my first meatball and couldn't handle how luke warm they were. I asked one of the gals if they could just nuke it in the microwave. I was so hungry that I didn't care if they had to microwave it. Microwaving wasn't an option so I was told that they were going to make me a new plate. While I was waiting for my meatballs, my husband's cheese Detroit style pizza came out. His pizza was perfection. It had crusty cheese on the edges of the pizza. Mozzarella covered every inch of it. There was a gracious amount of marinara on top of the pizza. It was cut into 4 big slices but realistically, who can properly eat that big of a slice? It would have been nice if it was cut into 8 pieces or if a plate was given to my husband to eat off of. I ended up cutting it into smaller slices for him with a plastic knife. Lol humorous really when they have a nice pizza cutter in the kitchen. My second round of meatballs came out. The temperature of my second round was just as disappointing as my first. I have come to the conclusion that the meatballs were preheated, sitting in a warmer and just topped with "warm" sauce when they are ordered. I clearly asked for hotter meatballs but I guess that was too much to ask for. I ended up eating one more luke warm meatball and boxed up the rest. I'll enjoy them later when I can actually heat them up. Frustrating since I was hungry, ready to eat and now I have to wait till I get home to eat. We live on the other end of town so getting to them wasn't going to be anytime soon. My husband did enjoy his pizza. It was cheesy. The crust was thick and soft. He enjoyed the pizza sauce. The edges of the cheese and crust was my favorite. I'm happy he got to enjoy his pizza when it was nice and hot. The customer service of this pizza joint was good. Everyone working was nice and kind. I did ask one of the gals working if I can get a knife and a fork that wasn't in the communal plastic ware bin. She was sweet and grabbed fresh plastic ware out of the boxes for me. We tried three different slices and liked them all. Quality ingredients for sure. Crusts were all really good. We love the cupping pepperoni. What would I like to see different? I was invited to the "Soft" opening and I wanted to share my experience with you. I would have given it a 5 star but need to reserve that for Fine dining.. (My own thing) This is a casual pizza joint with a great outdoor patio. You just walk up, place your order, and they deliver it right to your table. They have a full menu, including salads, wine, and beer! It's brand new, so it's super clean, comfortable, and well-laid out. The General Manager, Ken, was there and was super friendly and helpful. If you're a pizza person, you really need to check this out! I had the "Tomato Pie," which is a New Jersey-style pizza with tomato sauce over sliced mozzarella, garlic, and basil. The crust was cooked to perfection, and the balance of flavors from the tomato sauce, garlic, and cheese was amazing. The basil on top was freshly chopped, which was really good. My friend ordered the "SIC Traditional," which looks like a deep-dish pizza. It had tomato sauce, mozzarella, thick and thin cut pepperoni, and Italian sausage. One slice was about a meal! Again, it was outstanding. As I mentioned, if you're a pizza person, you have to give this a try. They have so many different styles that you're sure to find your favorite. This place has terrible customer service. The employees seem unsure of themselves and the manager on duty on July 19th was too timid to address our question and hid in the back as the cashier apologized for his lack of professionalism. We had simply asked to purchase extra sauce. This stumped the employee and she initially said they didn't have the sauce. When I pointed out that it is on some of their pizzas, she said she could not sell us any. I then asked for a little bit in the little one ounce plastic containers. Still a no. I then asked if they could put a little extra directly on the pizza. Again, no. According to the employee and/or manager, they had no way of charging us for a little extra sauce so not possible. Walked in on a Monday before the lunch crowd hit and this place was ready. The pizzas looked delicious. I loved the welcoming feel and the pizza box art on the walls was fun to look at. This restaurant has indoor and patio seating. They do offer an appetizer menu as well as other italian specialties but for my first visit I wanted to try some basic pizza slices. So I ordered up a slice of the grandma style pizza, sweet gino and a slice of the NY peperoni. Before I filled my soft drink my pizza slices were promptly reheated and delivered to my table with my small box as I knew by the size of the slices I would need to share. The crust on both were excellent as I immediately cut each slice in half. The bottom crust was crispy and not doughy. I dug into half of the NY slice first. It passed the NY fold test and the pepperoni were the wonderful thin cupping peperoni that clung to the cheese for each bite. It was delicious. I moved onto the Grandma slice which is square and a little thicker but still had the crispy not soggy crust. The sauce was sweet and the mozzarella and basil were freshly sliced. For 20$ including soda and tip these 2 slices were more than enough for myself and for hubby at home who mowed them down with no reheat. We will add this to our pizza rotation. I really do think this style of pizza is best eaten right out of the oven in the restaurant but that's my personal preference. We tried Slice House by Tony Gemignani in Meridian a little while back. It's a new spot in a strip mall next to WinCo on the Linder side. The place was busy, and seating was limited, so takeout was a good option especially since it was cold that day. On a nice day, the outdoor seating looks like it would be a much more pleasant option. By-the-slice options were a bit hit-or-miss. Some of the more traditional choices were gone, and a lot of the available slices were unusual combinations that didn't appeal to us personally. Service was friendly, though some staff seemed new. Overall, it's convenient if you're in the area and want a quick slice, but for us, it was underwhelming compared to other local options I prefer like Idaho Pizza. Parking could get more tricky once the nearby closed restaurant (Hogs) is replaced. A decent spot for takeout or a sunny outdoor lunch, but I'll probably wait to try something else next time. read more

If you want well-rounded (or square) pizza, this is the place. Besides it always being busy (shocker), it just shows how amazing this place and their pizza really is. I loved all the pizza styles they offer. Grandma style was one I haven't tried before and has become my favorite. In the end, you truly can't go wrong with any of the styles. Grandma style is a tad thicker than New York style but has an extra crisp and crunch which I love. Staff was welcoming to us despite the chaotic line of people. The place is a bit small and I hope they expand or open a new area soon because of how fast the population is growing and their obsessed hungry customers that are constantly coming back. If you're in a hurry, I would recommend the slices as they come to the table faster. We got there at about 11 when it opened and it wasn't too busy. The people behind the counter were doing a great job of taking orders in a timely manner. At about 1230 is when it started to get busy and seating became limited. There are maybe seating for 40 inside and plenty of tables outside. If you have four or more people, it seems like it would be more difficult to find seating together inside. read more

Many better places for pizza in the Treasure Valley. The Wylder for example is way better. But if you're in a hurry for a quick slice and you're in the neighborhood, probably not a bad place. First of all, I lived in SF for years and think Tony's in North Beach is the best in the country, so while on a business trip in Boise, I tried his new slice house. I was pretty psyched, and I ordered a medium (12") pepperoni from the hotel. I drove around 20 minutes to get to the restaurant and was told it would be another 20-25 minutes. I was offered a water cup, and sat down to wait. No worries, I have no problem with waiting on good food, but I think my pizza sat for a while. I finally (35-40 minutes later) went back to the counter and was handed my pie. It was plenty warm, but not hot. The cheese, sauce and meat were all good, it did remind me of Tony's, but it didn't compare. The crust was very mid, and the undercarriage was more charred than I expected. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The price was okay, heck, I paid $50, including tax and tip, for my last real Tony's pizza, so I'll gladly pay premium prices for premium pizza. This was $27, including tax and tip. The time and price would have been fine, if the pie lived up to it's name, but it missed the mark. read more

I walked into The Slice House in Meridian thinking I was getting a slice. A humble triangle. A quick bite. A snack before real dinner. Friends... I was wrong. We ordered two slices (Sunday special: the Americano), a beer, a soda, and left a respectable $3 tip. The total came out to $27 and change, and I'll admit--at first glance--I clutched my wallet and raised an eyebrow. "That seems steep for two slices," I muttered. Then the slices arrived. These weren't slices. These were HONKING STONKERS. Each slice was the size of a small coffee table, absolutely loaded with toppings. The bacon alone looked like it could make pigs weep with pride and sadness at the same time. Cheese for days. Ingredients stacked like they were trying to break a structural load-bearing code. This wasn't "grab a slice and go." This was DINNER. A meal. Basically a medium pizza for two people, served as individual slices, delivered in about one-tenth the time it takes to wait for a whole pie. The taste? Legit. Cheesy, savory, indulgent, and wildly satisfying. We were stuffed. Like "we tried our best but honorably surrendered" stuffed. Neither of us could quite finish our slice, which has never happened to me before in a pizza-related incident. If you're expecting a light snack, rethink your life choices. If you want maximum pizza impact with minimum waiting, this is the place. The Slice House doesn't mess around--they're out here redefining what a slice can be. Everyone should try and support the new pizza spot. My first impression wasn't great but they are new so I might have to return when they are settled in. I agree with some of the comments. The girl taking the order isn't the friendliest. They were also checking receipts to see if people tipped before handing it to them. It was busy with limited indoor seating for a cold night. Many tables outside for summer nights. It took 21 minutes to receive food. Not all food comes out together so of the party was finished before others got food. It's fast casual so you order when you enter and your food is brought to you. No table service. Pepsi product fountain drinks. The recommended tip options (25%) are interesting for fast casual. We celebrated my stepdad's 85th bday at this location yesterday. The service and food were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our part of 22 people occupied much of the inside (and it was a rainy day) but the staff didn't mind. We ordered 5 pizzas to feed all of us. I probably should have ordered a small cheese pizza for the kids, but we just added extra slices for them. Our whole pizza choices were Rosa, Hawaiian Hitman, Huckleberry, Pepperoni and Combo Americano. We asked for our pizzas to be "double cut" since their regular slices are so big. Really missed this pizza from Sacramento. I've been to the original San Francisco location and had it in Vegas as well. I've gone twice now. The first time was grand opening and they were all there popping out slices and salads. Amanda was there from the Vegas location and she is warm and friendly and I could tell it rubbed off on the local staff that stayed here. The second time I went there was the next week and I expected hiccups. My slice didn't come out and it had been 10 mins and I asked the young man running out all the food, where my order might be. He looked and said just a minute. I saw the tickets lined up and knew it was busy so it understood. 10 more minutes went by and I stopped him again and told him I need to get back to work and needed my slice. He asked my name again and proceeded to talk to the girls working the slices and then came back and it looked as though it was missed. They hurried it up and I got it in about 4 minutes. To mu surprise when I got back to work to eat it, I found there were two slices in the box. Not sure if it was a mistake or if they found the first one they made and put it in with the new slice. Either way I was happy enough. The third time was the most disappointing. Not for service, but that they still dont have any sort of lunch combo to compete with other lunch options. $10 for a slice and a drink is one slice less than what I pay at a competitive spot down the street. The other real bummer is that after eating it, I was still starving. The slices are big, but im hungry. I have asked a few other businesses around me if they had gone in yet and they all said the same thing I have, which is that its not a fair enough price for enough food to make us likely to return. I know its new and a chain, but in this area its not a metropolis and might need a little help to keep the locals coming in. The woman working at the front counter let us know they only had a few slices of bbq pizza and over an hour wait for a full pizza. She also said there won't be slices available.
