We had company over and they recommended Johnny's pizza. And we were extremely happy we listened! We ordered a little bit of everything. 2 pizzas, cinnamon bread twist, and a lb of wings. The dude over the phone said it'll be ready in about 15 or 20 minutes and we were there within that time and the whole order was ready! Last night we got in a bind for dinner and didn't want to go far to grab something. Enter Johnny's! This was our first time trying Johnny's and we came out very pleased. The pizza was good, not like knock your socks off but absolutely something everyone will enjoy. The service was terrific, they brought it right out to the car for my wife who was picking it up and the owner offered some discount pies. We got the 28" and it will easily Feed us for 2-3 days. .. it's huge and I loved that. The thing I loved about it most is they square cut their pies but give you the option for a slice cut. I lived in Buffalo for a time and they square cut their pies, I loved it and happy to see others doing it out here. Bottom line this joint is solid for game night pizza or a quick dinner and comes recommended by this reviewer for us meridian folks. Keep it up Johnny and we will keep supporting! read more

I both eat and deliver for this place (with a third party delivery app) and I highly recommend it. Timely: If a restaurant makes you wait more than 5 minutes as a Delivery driver then your hourly average drops a lot. At 10 minutes of waiting you end up around minimum wage (you need to complete a certain volume of orders per hour to make any real money). With that being said, they almost always have the order/s ready at least a few minutes early and they don't de-prioritize Delivery orders like most places do. Fastest pizza place in town. Management: The owners are a husband wife team who actually seem to care about what they do and they actually remember my face and make me feel like part of the family lollll The food: really good, get the cinnamon bites they're SO GOOD. The pizza is significantly better than most of the chains I've tried, they are faster than the chains, and it's nice to support small business. Price: competitive with local chains I have a lot of respect for a restaurant that treats third party app Delivery people like human beings lol which is why I started eating here, and now I'm addicted. No restaurant is perfect, but in all the times I've been here for pickup, if someone has ever had a problem with an order the owners themselves have gone out of the way to accommodate people and make things right. Picked it up with a few sides of their freakin incredible ranch, went home, ABSOLUTELY DEVOURED! It's honestly one of the best, if not THE best BBQ Chicken pie I've ever had. Not sure if their sauce is homemade, but hot damn is it good. A little sweet, plenty of tanginess, and super bold but not overpowering...it's just delicious. When you hire someone to deliver your food you better make sure the food is delivered. Since Johnny's Pizza uses a 3 Party to deliver food and not their own drivers they delivered my pizza to somebody else! I confirmed this with the Grubb Hub help line. I used to live in Meridian and I remember when Johnny's first opened up. They offered a large pizza for $4.99, and they're situated right down the street from Little Caesar's as it is. So when it came up as to "where should I stop for pizza?" the answer was Johnny's. Usually. Time has passed and things have changed a little bit for both this little pizza place and myself. I'm a different person, now. I've had a lot of different pizza in my life. So how does it hold up? PizzaKen and I arrived separately. I was accompanied by my girlfriend, Meg-arita (I forget all the nicknames we've come up with for people). The friendly cashier recommends the bbq chicken, so we get that on half with (you guessed it) pepperoni on the other. I throw in some cinnamon bites for extra fun. The pizza comes out pretty quick. Like I mentioned, they're not far from Little C's, so you know they're good on applying the gas. There's a small alcove with some arcade machines next to the order and oven area. Obviously the experience is meant more for the get-it-to-go-er, but it's nice that we've got somewhere to sit. -The Pepperoni- Ah, yes. It's still pretty much how I remember it. It has a gooey texture overall, with nicely crisped peps. The dough feels big in your mouth but it goes down easy. It's a sweet, uninspired, but not unwelcome flavor. Solid. -The BBQ Chicken- Ken likes this one a lot. It makes me think, "This is how Chicago Connection should have done it." Nothing really stands out, again, but there's nothing about the joint that seems like it's aspiring to be "artisan." It's just good. -The Cinnamon Bites- I forget how these are actually labeled on the menu, but they're very good. Light, fluffy dough smothered in that rich cinnamon glaze and topped with that buttercream drizzle. If you're a fan of cinnamon rolls, you won't go wrong getting these. -The Verdict- Johnny's has got you covered. The best part of all this is it cost a pretty nominal amount. Without the cinnamon bites, I believe the X-Large pizza we received was only $18-ish. And it was a 50/50, 12-slice pie! They definitely offer highly competitive prices on their simpler pizzas, still working hard to out-do that Caesar's down the street, and in my opinion, they do that much very well. They definitely offer wider selection and more sides on top of that Go Local bonus. Don't plan to get blown away, but Johnny's is unlikely to disappoint. 3 slices out of 5 read more

Second time we asked them to do a 3 x two-topping pizza deal and just make one of them cheese. They litterally could not accommodate that. Good cheap pizza. The star rating is for a cheap pizza place...this is more of a Little Caesar's competitor. Prices are literally 1/3 of Flying Pie. The $6 14" pizza is fresh and hot, tasted just fine. Employees working were polite and friendly, and I chatted with the owner while waiting for my pizzas. There's a seating area for "dining in", but this is really much better for carry out. I used to get the Domino's mediums for kid's parties and the like, but this is now my new go-to for cheap pizza. They are much more friendly and personable than the other $5 "pizza, pizza" joint across Fairview. I went here one time and they did not have a pizza ready to go and were very apologetic. They already had one in the oven anyway and it was ready within 5 minutes They more than made up for the small wait. You can also call ahead and get any single topping pizza for $5, which is nice because the other "pizza, pizza" joint now charges an additional $2 for any topping other than cheese or pepperoni. Don't waste your time or money! Food taste wise, they are about on par with Little Caesar's, crust is slightly better. Unfortunately the service was terrible. When I ordered my pizza the guy on the phone was very confused,(seemed like his first day so that was understandable), he told me it would be 10-15 minutes for my order. When i arrived 15 mins later, he had trouble checking me out, then after I paid as I waited patiently for 15-20 mins someone in the back realized I had been waiting a while and asked my name and realized my pizza was ready when I got there. So not only did I leave with an unpleasant experience I also left with cold, unpleasant pizza. THEN a few days later I realized they charged me twice for my order so I called to let them know this, and they are paying me back the second charge, but I had to drive back to the store to show the charge and be paid in cash Very disappointed in this entire experience and will not be back unfortunately. read more
