    Medium 12" Big Papa

Where to begin. I genuinely would come to slice house once a week when frequenting the Castro Valley marketplace. The pizza options in terms of slices and pies were great. Ive noticed a shift where dam near every single slice option has bacon/ ham/ pork options. I do not eat any type of pork and its disappointing that it's become the case. Ive also noticed this at other slice house locations. I used to really enjoy the Big Papa that they took off the menu and replaced with a similar option that includes pork. Every week I check the slice house line up options and maybe 1 (basic cheese) are non-ham eating friendly. The Bay Area is a diverse place. Would recommend some market research on the diverse groups and eating habits of those that live in and frequent the locations. Authentic pizza can be made that doesnt require every option to include pork. I know they have other menu options but sometimes you dont want to buy a whole pie.

Amazing pizza as usual High quality ingredients, great for a quick eat, and consistently good.

My kiddos favorite pizza. They have slices most of the day but I recommend the whole pies for better quality. This is our usual delivery spot so we don't eat in much. This location is a part of a food hall with a grocery store and some other small food spots. A cheese pizza will run you close to $30 but based on the pizza in the area it's worth it. Service depends on the day. Clearly cookies are not their specialty!

    Regular pepperoni pizza.

I feel like from the times I've had Slice House, you can never go wrong for a quick slice on the go. They have a variety of pizzas you can choose from. They have vegan and gluten free pizzas but sadly those don't come in slices. Hoping and crossing fingers they're able to provide that option in the near future! They're located in the Castro Valley Marketplace that has so many things you can do while you wait for your pizza to be prepared. They sale drinks like fountain sodas and also alcoholic drinks like beer and wine.

My pizza slices of choice were the Wiseguy and the BBQ Chicken (Friday Pizza of the Day, NY style). Both slices were delicious and HUGE! I believe each slice was only $6.50. Service was friendly and fast. In addition, I ordered a cannoli, but the cream was just ok. Here's What I Think ... This is a good spot to go if you want something a little different than your local pizza shop. The prices are reasonable and the slices are huge. I'll be back. If you're in the neighborhood and in the mood for pizza, give Slice House a try.

We recently tried Slice House in Castro Valley and were really impressed. We ordered a Sicilian-size pepperoni and sausage pizza along with a large Hawaiian pizza, and both were solid choices. The pizza itself is really good, especially the crust--perfect texture and flavor. One thing I loved about the Hawaiian pizza is that the pineapple is thinly sliced, not those chunky tidbits that keep falling off. It makes a huge difference and keeps every bite balanced. Portions are generous, and the serving size is definitely great value for the money. We also ordered the cannoli, and it was pretty good--nice way to end the meal. The shop is located inside the Castro Valley Marketplace, which makes it a convenient stop. On top of the food, the service was awesome. Shoutout to Collin--he was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

Great place with yummy pizza. I waited a little bit to give a review because I wanted them to sort out their workflows and I can say the improvement is great. Early on I would show up and my pizza would be ready but I was not told nor was it out for me to find. I can say they now consistently call names, ask me what my name is when I walk in, and I have a great take out, delivery, or dine in meal. I really love the creativity of the pizza options and the option to have multiple types of crust size. My favorite is the Cal Italia! The saltiness of the prosciutto and the sweetness of the drizzle make it the best! They have some good happy hour rotations daily and the hot oil is delish. One day I wanna try some pasta but for now, I'm sticking to the za :) They have rotational slices daily so you can try something new each time. I'm excited to pick out my free birthday slice this week!

Cute little spot a ha red indoors with a plethora of other food businesses and an organic grocery store. The staff were kind and seemed to be having fun although they were incredibly busy!

Semi ordered online and by the time I got to cashew valley from FREMONT it only took five minutes for it to be ready It's inside a market but at 7 o'clock at night almost everyone was there for pizza. Fast friendly service all the tables are kept clean The pizza is consistently good as always. Ordered the grandma's sweet Gino's and Detroit motorhead. Two entirely different pizzas, but both delicious.

Pizzas taste good but the dough is way too hard and chewy. Tried sweet gino grandma style and loved the sweet sauce but did not like that the sauce was only on half of the pizza (grandma style). Wise guy, didn't enjoy the ricotta and sausage part but the pepperoni and green onions were good.

I've been a fan since Tony had Pyzannps in Castro valley. Slice house never, ever disappoints The sweet Gino is my fav. The CV location is inside the public market so pretty cool to go and look around and shop there as well. The pizza is always delicious, I've never had a bad experience and service is always fast and good.

Slice House by Tony Gemignani? Here in CV!?! We've been waiting forever for their Milpitas location to open up. Thankfully, we had a opportunity to try this location which is located in the Castro Valley Marketplace and takes over the space where The Cannery Kitchen & Tap used to be. Small seating area, though the marketplace added additional seating around the area. One unisex restroom at Slice House. They were crowded for a Sunday night. Download their app and sign-up an account to receive an instant $5 off your first order. Order with the cashier, pay, and provided your name which they will call when your order is ready. We ordered a couple of slices to share. *Detroit Style - Rosa: Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Thick & Thin Cut Pepperoni, Basil (4.5/5). I enjoy the bready thickness of this crust and the toppings on this. *New York Style - Webbs Double Sausage: Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Italian Sausage, Sliced Link Sausage, Cup n Char Thin Pepperoni, Red Onions, Romano, Oregano, Garlic Oil (4/5). Flavorful and what you would expect in a NY style slice with a nice crisp thin crust. It hit the spot. We'll definitely be back!

Great pizza by the slice and friendly staff. Lots of options and toppings available all inside a convenient marketplace location. I love this pizza from the city in Little Italy - they have a by the slice next to the more fancy sit down restaurant - here it is a stand alone Slice House. Endless variety here. Also specials of the day for those that want more excitement. I tend to like the pineapple pizza in SF as its real pineapple - but didn't see it here. They serve wine and beer and I had a fountain drink. Very family friendly location with both indoor and outdoor seating.

They were able to accommodate a huge group. 12 teens, 2 coaches and us parents. We did make reservations prior to coming in. It was very spacious and it didn't feel like we took up the whole restaurant at all with our big group. We ordered a variety of pizzas, salads and apps. The food came out in a fast timely manner. We had put an order ahead so the restaurant was expecting us. Niche and his team were attentive. They gave us a mic to use when we were making some announcements and playing games. Some of the girls wanted to sing karaoke and Niche made that possible as well. This establishment also has an arcade and laser tag in the next room. Our group was too busy with our own activities that we did not have time to check it out but that is something cool that they have. We get there and see a few employees just sitting around in the booths/tables chilling watching TV. We just assumed they were on their breaks. It was a ghost town in there at 6:30p, which we found odd. Walked up to the front register and nobody was there, we heard a few people in the kitchen talking and laughing, we kept saying "Hello!" and nobody came up front to greet us, so we walked to the side of the kitchen to get their attention. We saw a female employee sitting up in the front area with her boyfriend just chit chatting and didn't say nothing to us as we just stood there waiting for someone to take our orders. Total shit show for service, the owner was there and didn't care that all his employees just sat around not doing shit. There were 3 tables that were cluttered with leftover pizza and food. Also the kids were asking about the "Arcade" and they told us it's only open on weekends, that was one of the main reason we came there, there wasn't anything on Yelp or signage saying that the arcade was only open weekends big disappointment. Even though the serviced royally SUCKED!!! The pizza, jalapeno twists, and chicken wings were really good. They give you free water but it had some nasty taste to it, so we had to buy some bottled water from them. The little touch screen device where you order your food charges you for Ranch Dressing .75 each, but the owner said don't worry about the Ranch, it's free and we don't charge for that, then why is it on there? So if the owner isn't there, you'll have to pay for it. All in all, I would definitely come back for just the food and do take out.

One fountain drink at 3.5 and fruit punch on tap as the other flavors are the local distribution brand that I'm not fond of. The pizza is about mid grade in quality. It won't overwhelm you, but it will satisfy the urge to try their pizza. I prefer the Niles location. I was in the area so I figured I'd give it a try.
