I ordered a large meat-lovers pizza with a small Caesar salad and was satisfied. The people were courteous. Avoid the Caesar salad if you're expecting kale, Parmesan cheese or a wedge salad. This one's just a regular salad with Caesar dressing. They gave a heads-up on that, so I have no complaints, just passing along the tip. I was surprised the two items cost $40, but I was satisfied with the taste and the amount of leftovers I had for a second meal. The pizza was very good. We came in, ordered a half cheese and half Mexican pizza. Took about 15 minutes and we were on our way home. The pizza is very good. We waited inside and watched as the family's grandma was shredding blocked cheese, the mom was fixing veggies, and the sons were operating the oven. As I was eating, one of the guests had come in with an issue and I overheard the owner genuinely extend his concerns and fixed the problem. Ordered the 'By The Slice' garlic chicken pizza and boy did it satisfy my most intense of pizza hankerings. I mean everything I could ever want in a slice: crust that was crispy to the bite, quality-cheesiness, fresh tomatoes and onions, an abundance of chicken! Around $10 for a huge slice. Alright I've gotten delivery from this place a few times and it's been on point every time. Chewy crust, not too thick, good quality toppings, love the tomato basil sauce... and with a stuffed crust/stuffed dough option, sheesh. Great sizes and quality especially for the prices, and I love that you can get up to an 11 topping of your choice supreme option for any size they sell, and only for a couple bucks more than the 3/4 topping options (Also love that they put plenty of toppings on but also don't overload the pizza...I'm a firm believer that too much on top can ruin a good pizza). Only downers is getting cheese on it is technically considered a topping on the customs, and apparently there's a secret chicken tikka masala pizza you just cant get through ordering takeout or delivery on Yelp :P but the pizza is so good, and I understand not everyone wants cheese and has to pay for it anyway only to have to request to take it off; I just couldn't downgrade the rating for that with a straight face, that's just a personal preference. But dying to try the masala pizza.... Tried my first dessert here, the pizza cookie; half of it didn't make it from the door to the counter, crispy and gooey chocolate chip, this was just done so right. The pizza is one of the best we've had. Great dough, somewhere in the middle between New York and California sourdough style. We ate all the crust. The toppings were excellent as was the sauce. Spousal unit even commented that the mushrooms were fresh not canned. The owners son was on duty. We had a great conversation. His service was excellent as well. We came here around 11pm. We hadn't eaten dinner because of an early volunteer gig. This place was open so we gave it a try. It's unfortunate we don't live close enough for delivery or even pickup. I always pass this place on redwood rd, it looks like a quaint pizza place. I was going to order papa John's but decided to give this place a try. The pizza arrived timely within 30 minutes which was impressive. We ordered 1 medium 2 topping pizza (pepperoni and jalapeño). First thing I noticed was the pizza box was not sealed, no seal at all, which is very uncommon nowadays with the popularity of delivery services especially with meal delivery. We indicated to add utensils and condiments on the order, when it arrived, there were no cheese or pepper packets. It's fine as I always keep some in stock at the house. Now the pizza was flavorful, plenty of cheese, but the toppings were not generous. I will show the expectation vs reality photo. They even burnt one side of the pizza. This place is my go to for pizza. However, I called last night to order my pizza for my kid's birthday celebration at school. I know they open at 11 am and I called to see if they can make an exception since they have done so in the past to have my pizza delivered early. I arrived at 10:45 am at the agreed time. Good pie here with huge sizes. The main appeal for Pizza Express was the size of their pies. The King Kong combo fed about 4 of us with a total of 16 slices.
