Payed for 3 in pepperoni and got regular ones Hbbbdbxbhdbzbxbdnd

The food was good. I like that they have a variety food options other than pizza. The service was good too.

    America's Most Wanted dynamite crust

We felt like trying a new pizza place and saw this place recently opened. Got the America's Most Wanted dynamite crust. A little bit pricey, but definitely worth it in my opinion. Get some marina sauce on the side to dip the crust into. Great tasting pizza.

    Cake with mold.

We ordered a piece of chocolate cake for delivery for a pregnancy craving. The piece of cake that was delivered had mold on both sides in the chocolate mousse filling. We called and were told we'd receive a call back, a new piece of cake delivered, and a refund. It's been at least an hour with no call back and no new delivery. Cake had pretty obvious mold and can't believe it was sent out.

    Sandwich

Ordered a Caesar and a custom sandwich because the ones on the menu are lacking. I've tried 2 of them before with my other orders. Thinking because this one cost more on the menu and I get to choose the items, it would be better. It wasn't. The protein is always skimpy. Their pizza is solid. But I would steer away from sandwiches or calzones. They lack inspiration and flavor.

This is a no judgement zone... Right? Okay, good. So, a couple weekends ago I had a little too much wine. It happens. But the thing is, if I have a DROP of alcohol, I'm convinced I need to order food. But, when it's Sunday at 1 am, there's not many options. Imagine my absolute JOY that Slice of Italy was open when I needed them! I ordered their cheese bread and pepperoni pizza with cheese stuffed crust. HEALTH. And lemme tell you, it was fantastic. So good. Maybe it was the wine talking, but in that moment, it was the best pizza I think I've ever had. Seriously! Delicious pizza, decent prices, and open late every day. There's literally nothing to complain about.

Baked Ziti and Salad. Both were amazing!!

Updating my review. I ended up in ER for food poisoning that night. Since this was only thing I had eaten all day.... I had baked ziti single Caesar salad new york cheesecake I am thinking its was salad since that its what I ate most of.

A very small piece of carrot cake. Objects are smaller than they appear. Especially for $5.99

RE : Size & Price of Cake Picture it : Sicily 1942 Long ago someone's Nonna bakes a cake so sweet, so sublime, that future generations will recreate the recipe. This includes the bakers at Slice of Italy. They use carrots and cream cheese to capture the taste of the cake that effectively ended WW2. (Carrot cake $5.99) The cake is so beautiful, so perfect that it's served in miniscule, wafer thin slices. Why so much for so little? Could it be greed? Your guess is as good as mine because the sacred cake is no longer made the old way; with chopped walnuts from the middle east and pulverized Angel wings. Only the fine bakers from Slice of Italy know for sure. As we all know, tiramisu ($7.99) was created by Niccola Machiavelli in 1523 after coffee was first introduced to the Florentine's (no, not really). It's a dessert so unique, so delectable, that it's said it was created by Lucifer himself to test us. So eat your fill (AKA tiny, piccolo slices) of carrot cake and tiramisu from Slice of Italy in Kent, WA. The prices and portion sizes are a testament to the fact that we clearly don't deserve cake. Slice of Italy makes the prices so prohibitive that we can't afford it anyway. Ordered : Jan 21, 2024 : Cheese Bread : Slice Carrot Cake ($5.99) : Slice Tiramisu ($7.99)

Happy Hour is offered daily from 2pm-6pm and all day on Sunday and Monday. Mama Stortini's has a large lounge area as well as family dining. We opted for the lounge. The lounge has a couple of TVs to ensure sports games are not missed. A full bar is available for those who enjoy cocktails. While looking over the menu, I had a 16oz Spacedust IPA for $8.50 and my girlfriend had a 16oz Mac & Jack for $7.50. My girlfriend and I shared the medium Tuscan Chop Chop Salad for $11.50: romaine, smoked gouda cheese, turkey, salami, tomato and garbanzo beans with white balsamic vinaigrette dressing and garnished with grated Parmesan cheese. The kitchen was kind enough to serve our salads on separate plates. The salad itself was light, tasty and refreshing. Staff friendly and real. Overall, the next time I'm in the Kent area, I wouldn't mind stopping into Mama Stortini's to try more of their menu items.

The service was great and our waitress was so nice and accommodating for my elderly parents. We ordered calamari and garlic bread for the table, both of which were amazing. Best calamari I've had in a while. I ordered the chicken Marsala with the risotto. The chicken and Marsala sauce was good but I did not like the risotto it wasn't flavorful and a little hard. I would not order it again. The portions were huge for the price, and overall I'd come back to try more items from the menu.

The samoon bread was insanely fresh. They were popping out batch after batch. That bread was soft, delicious & every ounce of comfort you could expect from fresh baked bread. I went a couple weeks ago and tried to order a shawarma but I must have came to early bc they were not ready. So today I decided to try again. I ordered the combo and the digital menu shows the combo as $14.99 but it rang up at $15.99. Not a big deal but the digital board should be updated. If you order online, the price does show for $15.99. The cashier was okay. Not as friendly with me as she was with others. It was like I was bothering her by ordering food. The gentleman who was in the back cooking my food was pretty friendly though. Honestly, based on the experience with the cashier it would be pretty easy to not rush back. But the shawarma was just good as I remembered. The chicken was juicy and extremely flavorful. Now that I work closer to this location, it will definitely be in rotation for me. The samoon was calling my name on this visit but I will definitely have to wait until next time and get it with some hummus. You can order the shawarma on the samoon also.

I would almost call it serendipity, but I was certainly searching for something, I just didn't know exactly what. I had a day off and had spent the earlier part of it wandering, looking for any remaining independent produce stands, butcher shops, or just something that felt like it would nourish and heal me because I had been feeling....well? physically, emotionally, existentially, and psychologically, like absolute crap. Historically I've spent years independently studying nutrition and biochemistry, herbalism and traditional medicine, but over the years I'd strayed from those things and lost my way. All this to say I may have forgotten some things but I recognize when someone else knows their stuff. I wandered into Sunshine Corners, originally for a good sandwich and maybe some produce. What immediately struck me was how comforting this place was, and how much it felt like the old school apothecaries or coop's before they became adulterated by mainstream capitalist influences. Stay with me here. I overheard Tony talking to one of the people at the front desk and immediately realized "ok, that guy knows his stuff". Meekly, when he had a moment, I walked over to him and basically, in a sort of desperate manner, laid out my litany of aches and pains and mysterious ailments, expecting an abrupt hand waving answer. That is not what I got. Tony spent what might have been somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour with me, patiently asking me questions and pulling out reference literature. He recognized things in me that no one else had been able to see, and pointed me in a direction that has allowed me to focus on actually getting better rather than just collapsing in frustration. Tony, if you're reading this, the time you spent helping me meant so much to me. Your years of wisdom made a huge impact, but more importantly, your humanity.

What stood out even more was how incredibly clean everything was--without question one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever dined in. Do yourself a favor and start with the meatball sampler. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to begin the meal. I ordered the crab and scallop pasta, and my wife chose the seafood linguine.
