I chose meatballs, but they never mentioned that it would cost extra. When I arrived, the price had jumped to $24.99 before tax (almost $27 after). That's about $7 more than what the menu showed, and it felt misleading. If there's an additional charge for adding meatballs or other protein, that should be communicated clearly. The pasta itself was good, and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice enough, but the lack of transparency and surprise pricing left a bad impression. Was looking for a late night few slices of pizza on my way back from work the other day and found out about this place in some reviews. Seemed like a good, exciting spot to find, open until 2AM, awesome! Came in and ordered a couple of slices of pepperoni and sausage pizza, 3.99 each, not too bad. The ambiance was alright. I thought they were closed at first because the door was jammed shut and I had to forcibly pry it open when I noticed they were open and it was just stuck on the metal panel underneath. A few random chairs and tables near the exit and lots of clutter. Didn't give me a good feeling, but maybe the food would be a hit. I've been to places like that before. Order was made quickly and I was out the door in probably under 15 minutes, slices looked good in the box. Great smell to the pizza. First bite in, something seems off. The pizza seemed really, flavourless? Great, amazing crust, seems to have some kind of garlic butter flavour to it, soft and crunchy, very filling. The cheese and sauce however? It felt like the pizza had barely any sauce in it, and if it did, it was completely flavourless. The cheese as well, was notably stingy and I could see the strands of shredded cheese on the pizza, but it didn't taste very flavourful either. I started out eating the first bite thinking, hmm, well it gets a 4 or 5 out of 10 from me so far, it is what it is. After I finished the first slice and then begrudgingly started eating my money's worth on the second slice, the review kept dropping down further and further until I was like, man, this pizza is just gross. 2 out of 10 at best. Not nasty gross, but just so incredibly bland and flavourless, it felt like I was trying to imagine I was eating garlic breadsticks to get through it. It's a shame, they seem nice, maybe I would have enjoyed the pasta instead, but given my experience with the pizza, I doubt it. But at the end of my experience here, which I actually drove out 20 minutes for, I got left feeling like I would have enjoyed 2 slices from the 7-Eleven 2 buildings down instead. I can almost guarantee it would have tasted better, and I could have gotten a soda included, all for $5. Very unfortunate. All said and done, I probably won't be back here again. It's a bit of a drive from Federal Way, but if it's not even as good as 7-Eleven, it's not worth any kind of effort from me to order from here again. read more

I ordered a Hawaiian sandwich and some garlic bread here for lunch. The Hawaiian sandwich was very good, but let me wanting more. Wish I could order it in a larger size, but I'll just get 2 next time and have left overs. The garlic bread was freshly baked and covered in charred shredded garlic, its the really soft pillow type dough. I would recommend getting some marinara to go with them. Sure. I ordered a medium Pizza with chicken tikka and artichoke hearts. I realize that food and labor costs are going up.. however there were minuscule amounts of each ingredient on the pizza. You folks must have put in 5 to 10 pieces of each ingredient which shrunk to the size of a pellet... If that big. Ordered a 16" thin crust pizza, chicken wings and bread sticks. The pizza lacked flavor, the crust was mediocre. I love a good thin crust pizza, I guess I prefer a crispy cracker like crust this was definitely a doughy bread like thin crust. It was not as thin as I would have liked. The wings were ok and the breadstick, they were ok. They looked more like a cruller doughnut. They don't come with marinara, I ended up using ranch that came with the pizza. So far I've only used delivery from Slice Of Italy (never been to the store personally) and i've never had a bad experience so far. The delivery process is always smooth and my food arrives on time or earlier than the estimated time. My food also arrives hot every time, since I live close to them. I've only ordered the classic Hawaiian pizza from them and I loved it every time. I really enjoy the extra parmesan cheese and chili peppers they give (even without asking). I always order the hand-tossed dough and I like how thick and tasty it is and love the garlicky taste of the crust. The cheese, meat, and sauce are also great and taste fresh. I recently ordered their chocolate cheesecake and I was surprised how small the serving was. It costs $5.99 for two slices but both slices are too small for the price. We got onto to Yelp searching for meatball subs. Slice of Italy popped up with a 4-star rating. We saw the baked ziti, salad, and breadsticks family dinner for $40. We compromised & ordered that and had about a 10-15 minute drive to the location. When we got there the order was not ready so I decided to wait inside. While waiting, there was a bunch of laughter coming from the kitchen with what seemed to be 5 or 6 guys. One gentleman came out 3 times asking me what my order was. Then his coworker came out and asked what my order was, then another. Next I hear, "oh man, I'm so f'ing high right now" From there, two guys leave the kitchen and go inside into their car. More people come out from the kitchen and go outside to this car. They're all smoking outside now. Two of the four guys take off and two return with both saying they are really sorry and that the place has a lot of orders. I'm asked again what my order was... During the 30 additional minutes I waited for my food only one person came in to get a pizza, which was actually ready when the customer arrived. Finally we received our food and came home (15 minutes from the restaurant). We unpacked and found cold, stale breadsticks, a wilted Caesar salad (we ordered a regular salad with Italian dressing and worst of all was the baked ziti. It was cold, solidified cheese, barely any sauce, large chunks of red onion all over it with mediocre penne noodles. How does this place have such high ratings?
