I ordered the sweet honey knots and the bbq chicken pizza. The small pizza is super small. Pizza looked great except a few bubbles from baking. Having previously worked in a pizza joint it was common practice to use a poker to pop these during the bake or docker the dough better, but being new probably still working on some kinks. My family and I costed Slidders for the first time today and were happily greeted. During our pleasant interaction we found out it is family run. A father opened it and the son helps run it. We learned about their backstory and had so much in common. The son was well engaged in conversation with us and knew the menu well and took so much pride in eveeything. we were frequently checked in on and finished our stay with gelato. the pizza was really good and crispy and the sizing options were perfect. they even have the sizing in plain view so you can visualize how much you are ordering, something that I always find tough. I like this place for pizza, they have a great variety. I picked up the meat lovers and it was really fresh smelled amazing and tasted even better. I also picked up the spicy Cajun pasta, it was all bad. It's was spicy and really salty at the same time. It had this overwhelming taste of lime or vinegar. Not sure what went wrong with it. Slidders Pizza is a place I have visited twice and each time I was greeted with lovely staff and pleasant music. When my party ordered the staff was very quick to dish out their wonderful food. They have many options for Pizza and Stromboli, along some with other dishes. I enjoyed the supreme pizza and then ordered gelato. Unfortunately the cherry-vanilla gelato was terrible. Even though the flavor was good the texture could not be ignored. It was very gritty like sand. I don't recommend this flavor. I also purchased the mango. They have excellent service - the personel is friendly, and has at the center of their strategy making the customer comfortable and sometimes surprises the customer with token of appreciation. Very convivial for all ages, including families. And by the way, the menu is not just about the delicious pizzas, but the restaurant also offers a variety of other selections: wine, beer, ice cream/gelato (I tasted the coconut and it was such a delight!), etc. We are not locals and love traveling, and among other places we have been, this little spot is very unique and makes you want to come back and live the experience many more times.
