We came here for a birthday party and it was a blast. My son is 4 and that seemed to be the perfect age for this. He enjoyed sampling the "flight" of slime and then following the directions to make his own. I was a little skeptical of the staff being able to handle our party size but they did a great job. Kids birthday parties need to be organized or things start to get rowdy. They were constantly entertained and it was the perfect amount of time. read more

Super cool concept my niece definitely was excited to come here. It was kind of a mess things were scattered I even had one of the employees kind of scold me about one of the additions not going with the particular slime we had picked up. Even one of the other employees was like it's totally fine but she doubled down like absolutely not. My niece was super bummed about them being really rude about it I wish I would've gotten her name however she was not wearing a name tag she was a younger girl with really dark hair reddish brown and my niece had even said she worked at the school that she used to go to. It was just kind of weird and because everything was so scattered as far as the certain "flavors "being all over different shelves and nothing being completely labeled it's hard to tell exactly what needs to go with what so the rudeness was definitely uncalled for. However like I said great concept my niece had fun and that's all that matters but definitely when you're dealing with a majority of children you should probably be a little nicer. read more

The people who work here are saints. Despite the madhouse vibes of the place (and I mean that in the most sincere way), the women working this past Saturday were extremely patient, helpful, and pleasant with myself, my girlfriend, and the two kids we brought for a walk-in experience. A private party was finishing up so we were able to put our name down and the turnaround time was 10 minutes - wow! After this it was a smooth and fun process for the two kids and all of the staff helping. Thank you SO much for making the day for these kids. My only minor complaint which is more for Oakridge Mall is that the store is nowhere to be found on their directories. Thankfully we were able to call the store and again, the wonderful staff answered and told us where the store was located. Two customized slimes for the kids came out to $50 before tip if I remember correctly and it came with all of the fixings. Well worth it! Thank you again, Slime Kitchen! read more

What an awesome experience we had today at The Slime Kitchen at Oakgridge Mall! We passed by this place about a month ago and decided to have our daughter's birthday activity here. We had a group of 20 anxious kids and Lidia and her team handled them perfectly. They were very attentive and patient with the kids. Lidia and team went above and beyond to accommodate us and got us whatever we needed. To my surprise, the birthday girl got extra goodies. Will definitely recommend this place to people who are looking for something new and exciting! read more

We love Slime Kitchen, and it's always a fun activity that my kids love doing. We love the Daly City location because the staff always know how to make our experience the best. It was our first time visiting the San Jose Blossom Hill location and our experience could have been better. We came in around 6:45 and a very friendly gentleman helped us out and got us started with our slime and explained us the process. Maybe after 3 minutes into choosing our slime texture a very rude young lady named Karen came out and told us she needed to hurry us up because there was a a party starting in less then 10 minutes. She was behind us for every step in which my child and us felt very pressured to make decisions in order for her to get us out of the store for the party which started at 7. She made the young gentleman help us and another customer get our toppings at the same time and rushed him to charge us. My child wanted to add a ready to sell slime in which Karen shouted that they were an additional $15 that we needed to decide now which one my child wanted or to just pay for the one my child had already made. We ended up walking out of the store with just the one my child had already made because we already felt bad that we were holding out the party. We definitely understand that parties do get a priority time window because they are paying for it but maybe the employees should do a better job to let walk in customers know that they are hosting a party soon and let the customer decide if they want to go through with their slime experience or come back after the party. We still love slime kitchen and continue going to other locations therefore my score of 3 stars however employees like Karen need to learn how to use better communication and time management skills. read more

The kids had a great time and the slime actually last for much longer than home made or store bought slime.

Imagine having to come to a mother and daughter date here at the slime kitchen and get ignored multiple times, horrible staff, and a horrible experience. Well, that happened to me. First, I walked in with my 4 year old daughter and it was completely empty just us. After I looked around the store just for a little bit I wanted to see what the price was and how the process worked. I went up to an employee and was completely IGNORED. It was a short woman with colored eyes and brownish hair. She was on her phone the whole time I was standing there. I knew she saw me standing in front of her by the counter but she kept looking at her phone until I said something. I asked her how the process worked and the price and she told me. Once we got the process going my daughter accidentally squirted too much coloring in the slime. My daughter is 4 so she didn't know when to stop adding color. So, the lady yelled at her and gave my daughter attitude because she accidentally put too much. Why is she even working there when she can't even give good customer service? After that, we added things into the slime and played with it. A couple minutes later my daughter was done and we were ready to pay. The same lady ignored me again but this time she was on the phone talking to someone. She was a horrible staff, she needs to get fired. Or have a new policy on phones. I had to say something to her in order for her to check me out. Don't COME HERE if you want to feel ignored. I came here once before around the summer time and the staff were nice and helpful. I don't know her name but their was this helpful staff during the summer she had brownish black hair, and she was tall. I wish I could've got her name but it either started with a C, or a K. My point is we need more staff like her and not staff that are ignoring people and giving attitude to little kids. What's wrong with the staff now??! DON'T COME HERE. this place sucks now. read more

Bad customer service and a horrible attitude. I wish I had gotten his name but I was so disappointed in his attitude and enthusiasm to work with children I was in disbelief... The other employees name was Sarah . She just stood there looking at me like I was asking for something more then outrageous. I was simply asking if my 3 year old son can get added in the reservation list . The rude guy told me there fully booked for the weekend. which is understandable, but kind of confusing, considering the fact that there was NO ONE in this entire store and you had four employees behind the counter chatting about how annoyed they were at other customers. I simply asked them if it was possible for us to play for 10 minutes before the next appointment came in we wouldn't take up much time. He simply wants to just pick out a piece of slime without any sympathy or compassion or again customer service. He got super agitated, and again threw attitude when repeating himself about appointment slots I totally understand when appointment is and I get the fact that it's upon reservation, but what I was simply asking was for was a small accommodation for 10 minutes, which I'm sure they could squeeze my three year old son in. It's very unfortunate that nowadays it's hard to get great customer service, but then let alone to have people like this working with children. I would assume that they would have more sympathy and understanding. I will not be giving this place my money or business . In fact, these young teens or young adults are lucky to even have a job in this economy where money is stretched thin. It's very surprisingly that people don't appreciate their jobs more very sad. read more
