My sister asked to take my girls to this place because my little one LOVeS slime. This location was inside the mall. It was a little lackluster, but the good part was that there was no one else there when we arrived. Other customers arrived later and we could hear passerby's kids say, I want to make slime when they'd look inside. There were lots of little tables and chairs for kids to mix their slime. The kids are provided with aprons to wear so they didn't get their clothes dirty; great touch! There were steps labeled on the wall so that customers knew what to do. We asked a staff and they walked us through each section. There were a few higher bar stool type chairs for adults to sit at near the inside of the windows. Kids get to choose their slime base, the scent, glitter, and charms, etc. then they get to mix it all together. At the end they get their newly made slime put into a small plastic container to take home. We were also provided with some take home activator to spruce up our slime at home in a few days, as needed. Overall, the whole experience lasted about 30 minutes.

Lots of space for the kiddos as we came while there was a birthday party and we were still able to have a table for ourselves. Pricing: The experience itself is a decent price around $25 but an additional topping for $1 - it's literally a speck of something instead of a spoonful of something - eh not worth it lol. Service: Pete helped us out! He was very friendly and explained every step of the way. He was very attentive when we needed more activator! Tips -Make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you secure a spot with your kiddo! -Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to loud areas bc the kiddos are all very excited to play with slime! -They have an option to add scents! If you are sensitive to fragrance, a little goes a long way!

Such a cool little activity for kids of all ages! We decided to come here last minute but were happy that they had walk-in activities. The staff here were friendly and helpful. It was $25 per child for one slime activity that included 10+ steps. My kids were very excited and were kept occupied with the slime-making for almost 30mins. They have stations set up and the kids choose the type of slime, scents, color, texture and add ins. Overall, it was a fun and engaging experience. The kids now have a cool slime they can continue to play with at home.

This is our 4th or 5th visit, as a parent I'm no fan of slime, however my kid loves playing with slime. The slime from the kitchen seems to last awhile, I'll say it's money better spent than the store bought brands. The staff has helped her through the process, ensuring her satisfaction with her slime to take home. But most of all the kid says "Slime Kitchen offers me a chance to experience different textures of slimes that I wouldn't be able to do on my own. Definitely something to reward a kid while walking through the mall. read more

It was easy to make a reservation on line (not necessary but recommended to ensure you get to experience the slime kitchen). My Daughter had a small get together for her birthday. $25 per person, a bit expensive for slime but you're paying for the experience. They get to customize and keep their slime creations. My Daughter and her friends had a great time. The slime kitchen staff were super friendly and helpful. Don't forget to tip your Slime host! read more

Have to say how disappointed I was today, I paid 25$ plus gave a generous 4$ tip on making customized slime for my 3 year old. At the end he wanted the rainbow topper. The lady said I needed to pay 80 cents, I was apolled given I didn't have cash and had to use a cc for it, for the 4$ tip I was really expecting her to just say, sure take the topper, it was 80 cents! I was livid, I felt like saying ok then take it out from your tip, this baffles me really, what a horrible feeling this gave me, and my boy was sad, but it was more principal. Send this feedback to your manager, the lady who helped me was a fuller figure women with a black hair and a burgundy top long sleeve, and has no clue about service. we went at 530pm today 3/21 Tuesday. Still can't believe she would charge me 80 cents! read more

( Slime kitchen is opposite Sephora /near Bath and body works by Macy's) Lidia and her team were the best! We booked our daughter's birthday party here , and Lidia was able to show us the arrangements ahead of time, including cordoning off an area in food court for us to do pizza after the party! The only restriction was that we had to buy food from the mall. We ended up getting 10 flat bread pizzas from Cheesecake Factory that has an entry into the food court. Lidia and team helped us carry the food, water bottles etc. The Slime party itself was very enjoyable, kids got to choose the type , color scent and then went on to decorate and add toppings . Boys and girls alike enjoyed the party and parents were happy that kiddos could manage to make slime without the mess :) read more

Such a great little spot for the kids. Kid friendly staff that walk the kids through the process of making the slime. First the kids choose a texture, a scent and a color. The kids then get to watch it blend in a Kitchen Aid mixer then it is hands on mixing to ensure the right texture. After that, the kids add in foam, glitter and toppers of their choice. Highly disappointed! We were so excited to go do slime. Why would you say you are open till 8 but when we arrived at 7pm chairs were put up and saying they are closed. Then your hours of operation should say we are closed at 7 NOT 8!!! Otherwise I would've planned accordingly. So much for trying to surprise my children with the little hour of fun. Bummer read more

From the beginning BQ was on top of communication and were able to accommodate insurance issues we ran into with our venue. They made it happen fast since we were on a time crunch. One of my biggest priorities was making sure they properly disinfect the equipment after each use and they reassured us that they do. My cousin even saw the workers wiping down the equipment after our party as they were packing up. The only small negative was that we had told BQ the colors for our son's birthday theme (blue and gray) but they ended up having green and pink and yellow mixed in and they asked us if we wanted balloons included with the jumphouse, which we said yes to but it wasn't there on the day of. I just bookmarked for a couple of years, and I finally visited it. My boyfriend and I along with his doggie were having a day out in Santa Cruz. I told him that we should visit this place so that we can swing on the beach. He was down for it, but once we found the way to get down to it--he said, "No way, I'm doing that." I *did* not let that stop me from going down there to experience the swing though. My boyfriend and his doggie stayed at the top of the cliff and watched me climbed down to the beach. Yes, it was pretty treacherous. Thank goodness there was a rope with knots to hold onto. Otherwise, I don't think I would be able to do it successfully without that lifesaver rope. Thank you so much to whoever secured that rope there! Also, I do want to point out I did this in a dress and flipflops?! Crazy right.. Then again.. I'm crazy, I do admit it. ;) There were a four gals and guys down there chilling. I asked them if there was another way to get in and out of here, but they confirm that that was the only way in and out. I got to swing on the swing and took some videos. The swing looked cool from the photos that I seen, but it doesn't swing well straight. It does swing sideways. Lol... It took me about 7 minutes to go down and about 4 minutes to climb back up. I know this because my boyfriend recorded me. Lol... I'm very grateful that I was determined to do this despite the company that I had didn't want to do it. Years ago I let someone that I was with who didn't want to do it influence me to also not do it when we visitied Alamere Falls so I won't let that happen anymore. If there is something I want to do, it's okay to do it alone when other people don't want to do it. That's on self-love, baby! There is two parking areas. We initially parked in the one right across the post office, but then we follow this group to the other one right next to it because it was closer. We walked across the railroad tracks and found the opening to the climb to the beach. I was sore for a few days afterwards in my legs from climbing the side of the cliff, but oh gosh... It was so worth it!

I'd say that's the biggest downside--there is only one small lot for the entire space and fills up very quickly, with rangers monitoring and prohibiting parking anywhere else on Sierra Rd. So either come early or be prepared to make a few circles and speed back as soon as you see someone leaving. The trails themselves have such beautiful views of the South Bay. I do wish there were more signs on what paths are what--there are a couple but there were a few forks where we weren't 100% sure which route would keep us on the loop. It is a pretty steep hike downhill to begin with if you're starting from the lot, which unfortunately means it's almost all uphill back but hey, you can feel good about earning that extra side of fries afterwards! There are also no restrooms so be sure to go before leaving the house!

And when I cruise down leisurely down this glorious highway, I won't just gun the vehicle and go from destination to destination. I like to randomly stop at little towns, beaches, roadhouse eateries that's dotted along the way. There are so many beaches on highway 1. I'm still exploring around myself. Pulled in onto this beach as they had a big parking area on the cliffside. This is in-between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay, super close to the road that you can take to go to Big Basin. This is not a lying around type of beach. It is very raw and very windy for some reason. Lots of seabirds on parts of the beach, lots of stranded seaweed and due to the wind, lots of white water surf. And a big attraction here actually is due to the surf and wind conditions. Lots of surfers and wind-surfers here that it'll catch your eye even from the highway. Wind surfers are these skilled and brave souls that go out in rough seawater with a parachute like apparatus connected to them, as so they can take flight and take leaps almost at bird level. And they are able to surf more waves without being pounded by rough waves, as they are able to jump from wave to wave via air/wind. Even tho it was too windy for me to sit out there for longer than 30 minutes, it was a blast watching these guys bounce and float around in what would otherwise be dangerous waters. I'm eventually going to knock out all the beaches from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay, and this one was a special one to knock out.

My son generally does best in more structured environments. This camp felt very busy, chaotic, and highly stimulating for him however he seemed to enjoy the activities very much. With a large group of children, I personally expect very active and engaged supervision, especially during free play. That part made me nervous as I saw on drop off no supervision while boys were playing soccer in my childs group. Ultimately, I made a decision to cut the camp short and move him to a another camp that blends sports and arts and had better student teacher ratios and just more a more personable manager in charge. Although GrowFit does not offer refunds, I still felt more comfortable choosing a calmer, environment. He is doing much better there, and I have less anxiety on saftey.

Slime Kitchen is a great addition to Oakridge mall. It's between macys and build a bear. This location opened up in July 2022, but it's still missing from the mall directory. I took my daughter here and she had a blast. Kids are allowed to make their own slime, which is a super fun activity. She got to touch different types of slime before picking her base. There were so many different scents to pick, but my daughter decided that she didn't like any of the smells. It was great how kids can customize the color and add more things to the slime. Overall, I highly recommend slime kitchen. read more

Visited Slime Kitchen with my two kids, and it was such a fun experience. The space was colorful, organized, and easy to navigate--even with kids in the mix. We visited the Stoneridge location of Slime Kitchen and had such a great experience! AARyN was incredibly helpful with our kids. My daughter accidentally got some slime stuck on her apron, and AARyN was so attentive and kind in helping us fix it and even made sure she had a little extra slime to enjoy. This is such a fun place -- my kids absolutely love coming here! We always have a wonderful time, and the staff really make the experience special.
