Make sure you order fries!! Expensive ass philly cheese steak that is ok with no fries and a very very rude waitress who only hears half the order ‍ my sandwich got cold waiting for the fries. Thanks Slingers!

Now smoke-free! I love this place. The burgers are great they taste homemade. The pizza tastes like a st Louis original. I highly recommend this place. If you have a chance to meet the owner's they're very nice. Very friendly and family atmosphere.

A good local eatery, selling standard mid-west cuisine. If you have asthma, bring your inhaler... Not only is smoking permitted, it's permitted everywhere. Grab an ashtray and seat yourself! You haven't been to High Ridge, House Springs, Murphy, etc. if you haven't eaten at Slingers.

Nice little diner - clean, nice staff, good coffee, good home style food served in perfect sized portions. They're known for their slinger, but the slammer is also a good choice - saw the grill cook getting other breakfast standards ready and those looked good too (pancakes, french toast, etc). Early open, but the weekend breakfast crowd shows up later...mostly families with kids - nice crowd We will definitely go again

This place reminds me of Richard's in Fort Wayne. No frills & nice folks. Good is good & all the $$ stays local!

I got the slammer with biscuits on the side. The best biscuits I've had. Great service here means your coffee is full and you like your stay. They check in quite often to make sure you're not lacking something you need. Overall amazing eats for amazing prices.

Quick basic greasy spoon at a good price. Got an omelet and hash browns for five bucks well my friend got eggs with Chile on top of it. They do have a smoking in a non-smoking room but I'm glad I got there at 6:30 in the morning that there was hardly anybody smoking. They open at 5:30 in the morning

It's a slinger what more can I say

Don't forget about the farm tour that starts at 6:30 PM. This is not your usual dinner. It is more of an event so expect to spend at least 3 to 4 hours dining at this place. It's a menu designed by the owner of the farm who is also the chef and everything is local to their farm or used by other local farms (like the meat). Was all very good food. You can also take a small tour with the wife who runs the farming and ensures everything is top notice. We shall be back! You can also do a wine pairing which was Probably the most disappointing part but still good and fun!

What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).
