Came here for Sunday brunch. Food was eatable, not gross just mediocre. Waitress-Sonia was nice. I had a skillet that had kielbasa in it, I don't remember the name. It had to many burnt red bell peppers in it. Which is a shame since I really like red bell. read more

GREAT spot for a hearty delicious breakfast in the desert. The menu is huge- something for everyone- so much so its hard to decide on just one meal! The servers are extremely friendly and on top of everything.. The portions are extremely generous and the food comes out PIPING HOT! We had the 2 egg breakfast w/ bacon, the corned beef hash breakfast, multigrain pancakes & breakfast potatoes. everything was delicious. Besides being super tasty, the price point is super affordable, so you can have a great meal without breaking the bank! Happened to be passing through Indio on the way to Havasu. Yelped best Breakfast places & ended up picking Sloans. Located a block from the fair grounds. What we forgot was "Coachella". Yes, the crowd in town was a mix of regulars & ( there for a good time) "non regulars". Still, the service was excellent at Sloans, meals better than average. Even with the outside tables having "non regulars" hanging out for hours on end. The staff was able to get us in & out. They were ready for this yearly event. read more

Pretty good! Stopped here after Stagecoach for our fist home cooked meal in four days! Got the chicken strip salad, it had a lot of flavor and was a pretty good size, They also had great iced tea, which is a plus for me. LOL...I would go again! read more

Came here with my family and ordered the pancakes on the advice of Yelpers. The pancakes were as good as they said -- light and fluffy. My boys ate it up! Was also happy with the thick cut bacon, and my husband was also happy with his omelette. The decor is a little old and the service a little slow, but not unlike your usual diner. read more

My husband suggested going to Sloan's for dinner and even though I wasn't too excited about it, I agreed with his choice. Well I'm glad I did. I got the tropical salad (there was enough for 2 servings) and it was delicious. My husband ordered the open faced pot roast sandwich (again enough for 2 servings) and loved it. Very good food and service! I came here twice within my short visit to Indio. I got a steak for dinner and the spinach omelet for breakfast. Both were cooked to perfection! They give you way more food than you can eat so either be prepared to take it home or split a plate. Service was very sweet both times as well. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because they serve your food on plastic plates and cups. Well worth the trip though especially if you're hungry! read more

We've been here for breakfasts & lunches over the years, and we always get the same great service. This time Esmeralda took care of us with a nice, warm smile, and kept our beverages refilled. We ordered a split BLTA on untoasted bread w/sweet potato fries. These fries are more like sweet potato steak fries, not the thin ones that most places serve, so they stay hot throughout your meal. We have never had a bad meal or bad experience at Sloan's and don't expect that to change. Only thing is the entrance is weird, because you'd normally want to enter the first entrance from the parking lot, but that's the bar, so you have to go around to the street side entrance for the restaurant. read more

I get the autum salad with some of their salmon in top. There salmon is soo good, takes me home to oregon. Beats all other salmon in this valley!! Yeah I love fresh fish and they got it. For a place with such good service, its surprising the food is so awful. Just left our meal of Baja Benedict (sauce was nothing more than hollandiase with some tabasco added) and burned hashbrowns. 2 stars as my friends biscuit (dry) had good gravy and perfect hasbrowns. the waiter, Tony, was awesome. attentive and quick. definatly will NOT recommend or try again while in town. read more

A nice little place! Came here for Labor Day weekend with my family and enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress, Sonia was super helpful with the menu since we had never been there. Our food was delicious and the portions were very generous. It was my wife's birthday and they gave her a scoop of ice cream with a candle and even sang Happy Birthday. This place is bad. Service is slow and their prices don't reflect the quality of food. They up charge you for everything!! If you don't eat potatoes or carbs this isn't your place. They charge you to substitute anything green or veggie!! You pay extra for a side salad or soup which is fine if you were eating a higher quality and quantity of food. But it's Denny's at its best and even Denny's offers more. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and after spending 5 minutes begging to have the chicken grilled rather than fried I received my salad only to find about 2 ounces of chicken. Asked another time to substitute fruit for the carbs and that was a no. I'm not going back and would advise all don't waste your time. Went to get brunch here when I was in town for Coachella. It was also Easter Sunday. The wait was about 30 minutes, which I did not think was bad. I ordered a spicy bacon omelet. It was HUGE and came with home fries and pancakes. A really good value for the amount of food and it was all pretty good. My boyfriend ordered a plate that had two eggs, sausage and hash browns with pancakes on the side. He complained that the hash browns were dry. Coffee was good. We stopped by Sloans on Saturday morning while visiting Indio for Coachella Music Festival. The place was really crowded with both locals and visitors for the festival. We waited for about 25 minutes. The man in charge of the wait list seemed overwhelmed, and we were only seated because we had gone in to check how much longer the wait would be and he just seated us. The food was really great and hearty. You get SO MUCH FOOD. The breakfast combos come with French toast or pancakes on the side. We ordered the cinnamon apple crepe roll ups with whipped cream, a skillet, Mexican omelet, and everything was huge. They were really busy so it was hard to flag down a waitress for the bill but otherwise I would come back if I were in the area! read more

Stopped in on my way to LA from Phoenix and to my surprise, when I opened the menu, the first thing that jumped out at me was the "Low Carb Grill" breakfast. It came with 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, 2 sausage links, 2 bacon, 2 slices of ham and grilled tomatoes. I couldn't have come up with a better combination myself.
