We loved the laid back atmosphere at SloDoCo Donuts! We also loved the wide variety of donuts from festive ones, to filled ones, vegan options and more! Not to mention the service was fast and friendly! We love that there are multiple locations: Goleta, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles!

My husband and I were passing through the area on our way to Solvang. I'm so glad we stopped here! We stepped inside to see the place had a huge lounge area were a big variety of board games. It was warm and welcoming. The donuts, oh man, so many choices! I was overwhelmed since I wanted to try so many but I'm the end, we decided on Apple fritter bites, espresso donut, pecan cinnabomb, powered sugar cake, Boston creme pie, and a raised glazed. I had the Boston creme pie, powdered sugar cane, and raised glazed. My favorites. Everything was fresh and tasted as they should. The donuts were soft and fluffy. With the perfect amount of density. I'm glad I live so far away or I'd be tempted to come here everyday. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!

Our friends surprised us with some Slodoco Donuts for our game day. Needless to say they all got devoured. The cream cheese filled donut and Nutella donut were considered the favorites of the bunch.

I stopped into Slodoco Donuts over Fourth of July weekend while trying to find a quiet spot away from fireworks for me and my dog--and I'm so glad I did. This place is such a gem. I was immediately excited by their selection of croissants and specialty coffees. I'm very happy to report that both were delicious. If I lived closer, I'd be here way too often... which is probably exactly why it's a good thing I don't! Whenever I want to test the quality of a coffee shop, I order a Dirty Chai, and Slodoco did not disappoint. Their Dirty Chai was perfectly balanced--spiced, smooth, and exactly what I was hoping for. The croissant I ordered was also great. It's not a super flaky, layered French-style croissant; it's more on the dense side with fewer layers, but that also means way less mess in the car, so honestly that's a win in its own way. The only small challenge for me was not knowing whether dogs were allowed inside. I didn't want to risk it, so I left my dog in the car. Completely fine for a quick stop-in, but I couldn't see the parking lot from inside since the shop faces the opposite direction. Not a flaw of the business--just something dog owners might want to know. All in all, great coffee, great baked goods, and a place I'd happily return to anytime I'm in the area.

I can see this spacious location become such a nice third space. Lots of board games & books. Lots of seating at 9am. The donuts are so delicious, the kids say. we're enchanted by the arcade machines and kept getting up to watch upclose. The cashier guy was super sweet with the kids and was confused what the chamomile drink was but asked for help and got the drinks made for the kids fast. We would come back!

Slodoco Donuts is a cool local donut shop from San Luis Obispo, CA. The location Santa Barbara is one of three of their locations. I thought the service was decent. I was offered donuts and beverage. I ended up going with the apple fritter. It was just ok. It was not the best I have had better. I'll be inside of the shop was neat and clean. I have tables with shelves full of games and couches; almost a living room type feel. The coffee shop is more geared for college students who are studying as the location is open 24 hours. Overall, I think Slodoco is a pretty good place to go to get some work done and hang out.

Backstory: On my way back from Lompoc, I decided I needed a second pick me up before the long trek down to LA. To my surprise, as I was just about to start heading home, I see the sign for SLODoCo in the plaza. For folks who dont know the significance, SLODoCo stands for San Luis Obispo Donut Company. When I was in the area, they would only be located near SLO which would normally be another 1-2 hr drive north from SB. I had asked the worker there and she mentioned how they had just opened up last October. Upon entering, it was definitely made for the SB college students that needed a study or board game area, especially one that was open 24 hours. I opted for the dozen because I'm not sure when the next time I'll be in the area and also they have a 10% discount on ordering a dozen too. Generally the donuts were slightly sweeter than what I remember them to be. The flour used however was really good in my opinion. It didn't stick to your teeth after eating Some of the donuts I ordered: Lavender donuts: The lavender felt very faint in relation to the sugars in the donut. I was kind of expecting a more floral flavor to make it stand out more. Matcha donuts: I do think they also fall under the same faults as the lavender above, but I could more easily taste the matcha here. Toffee Coffee: I did order it, but my parents swiped it before I could try it unfortunately old fashioned (chocolate & maple): I feel the texture of the old fashion left a bit more to be desired. Possibly my getting donuts late at night, but the outer texture should be a bit more crispy i feel. normal (sugar and glazed) : You can't go wrong with the tried and true I feel. I normally don't do sweets but these are substantial, not too dense and has the right amount of sweetness. parking was no issue as it's located in a shopping plaza with a target or what used to be kmart, back in my day. the workers there were helpful and patient when it came to my turn ordering. Glad to have more modern small businesses in the area.

My favorite donut shop. Ambiance is of a spacious coffee shop. Service is great except if there is a line because it seems there is usually only one person helping customers.

Great variety and open 24/7. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Attentive and efficient even when busy, and super friendly! **Price & portion, 4/5** Some of their specialty donuts are a little pricier at $4 or up, but their more classic donuts are in the expected ~$2 range. **Taste, 5/5** Got a Creme Brulee donut which was fluffy, had a slightly torched (but not quite crunchy) top, and had a smooth, slightly nutty filling. Delicious! Anything with their matcha and/or coconut has also been great. **Other notes** Plenty of parking in this plaza and tons of indoor seating to get some work done or mingle.

Where do you begin to choose your what flavor of donut you want to consume? They also have different concoctions of croissants and not the run of the mill ham and cheese. Located in the corner before you hit target shopping center, get your donut fix. The place has a ton of room to hang out or study and a display of donuts to choose from. They have espresso and coffee drinks as well. The donuts are a little greasier than most but colorful and various flavors to choose from. The service is quick and prompt.

Wish these donuts were better, but was disappointed! Slodoco Donuts is a cool, fresh donut shop that is open 24/7 a few miles away from the UCSB campus. The shop itself is really nice and has a cool vibe. There is lots of seating that can be used for studying, chilling with friends, or just kicking back on your own. Staff is super nice no matter what hours of the day you come, which is a plus. The downfall of this location is the actual taste of the donuts. One of the things that makes this place "special" is the huge variety of donuts that is available here. However, sometimes too much of a good thing is not good at all. My boyfriend and I ordered a dozen donuts with a huge variety of flavors: creme brûlée, buttermilk bars, fruity pebbles, mint, mint chocolate, maple, matcha, matcha coconut. These flavors sounded so fun considering these were combos we always enjoyed. Especially creme brûlée, as it is my favorite dessert, I was really hopefully. My hope fell! The creme brûlée was not flavorful and the custard in the middle was curdled :( The fruity pebble was ok, tasted like glaze with soggy cereal. Mint was not bad. Matcha was not good, tasted like a vanilla donut which was odd. Maple was simple. The buttermilk bar, as lain as it was, was definitely the best one! This place has so many things to choose from, but I wish they focused on making a smaller amount of desserts with higher quality. If I need a place to get some food in the middle of the night, I would not be opposed to returning here. Any other time of day though, I'll pass. It's ok.

Is this a dream, have I been transplanted to a city, or is this really for real!?!!!?! A 24 hour open donut shop..., ... here!?! Well, Yes, it is real. Wonderfully real. Strong, fresh, excellent coffee. Yay! Yummy doughnuts. Tons of choices, from the classics to their own silly- playful- whimsical- cute flavors. Fun atmosphere welcoming both play and study. A book library. Community bulletin board. Live music and karaoke nights. Lots of tables and seating. Super easy parking. Love this place. Love that there is finally a cafe open past 4 pm, a happenning place to go out to that is not a bar. So happy. Thank you for opening here!

My friends and I wanted a little pick-me-up on a Sunday afternoon, and I'm so glad we drove 20 minutes out to give this place a try! It was perfectly sweet, which I loved because I'm not a fan of overly dense or super sweet treats. The service was incredibly kind. Even while dealing with so many customers in one day, they greeted everyone with a smile and such a welcoming attitude. The place is also really clean and well-kept. This spot will definitely be added to my go-to list whenever I'm in Santa Barbara!

Personally, I'm partial to the Goleta location since it offers a small breakfast and lunch menu My go-tos are the Spring Greens Sandwich, Trout Toast, and the Farmer's Market Frittata, which always feels fresh and seasonal. I'm also mildly obsessed with their Olive Rosemary Focaccia and the jalapeño basil cashew spread. Honestly, I'd put that spread on just about anything. Service is counter style with friendly staff, and there's a beautiful glass case showcasing the day's dishes and fresh breads. I love a good visual moment when deciding what to order, and this place definitely delivers. Just note that popular items can sell out, so going earlier is better. Their bread menu changes depending on the season and produce availability, which keeps things interesting. You'll also find gluten-free options, sweets, and dry goods if you want to take a little something home. The patio is cute and sun-filled, perfect for lingering with coffee and a pastry. Parking is street parking only, but on weekdays there's usually ample neighborhood parking nearby. Just note they're closed Sundays and Mondays, so plan your carb pilgrimage accordingly.
