So many choices!! How do you pick?? Flavors I've never heard of that aren't just a colored frosting but actually are different flavors! I got the maple buttermilk: 11/10 Mint donut: 8/10 Super minty if you like that. Would love to try a chocolate mint! Crème brûlée: 7/10 A little disappointing. The top was soggy and the cream was aggressively sweet. A little too much so. Pillow: 9/10 Yum! Got the chai cream one!

We came around 9 on a Saturday and they were mostly sold out. We were really hoping to try the donut holes! We got the Christmas Sprinkle, Cinnamon crunch, and Matcha Coconut. The cinnamon crunch was definitely the favorite. The matcha coconut was lacking in matcha flavor - it could've just been regular icing and I wouldn't have been able to tell. Overall really quality donuts and would love to try more flavors when they are stocked!

There is a reason why EVERYONE loves SloDoCo donuts. Clean store and super nice service. They have a variety of unique and interesting flavors that you won't be able to find at most shops mixed in with the traditional flavors that are staples. I even saw a police officer get donuts which I don't think I've ever seen in real life. Only in tv shows and movies.

4/30/25 FYI. Cool.

Quality/Quantity - Speaking of traditions (see Madonna Inn reviews), this one is my daughter's and I's must get. Got to get our donuts. Our usual spot is at Foothill; see other 5 star reviews. We both went for the seasonal donuts. I got the Bumble Bee and she got the Easter Egg - Both of which were good. I actually liked hers better as she had a filling. And of course my daughter had to get her usual Thai Tea. Sadly this was made wrong by the previous crew, so they had to change her order to Chai Tea... It was good, but not as good as her craving for Thai Tea. Huge selection; see pictures. Atmosphere - Very small new location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Open 24/7. Plenty of parking, as this is more of a to-go location. We were the only customers that sat and ate. Interesting outdoor restroom with a shower (capped off), lol. See pictures. Free wifi which I did not use. Service - Okay. One of the girls working was just TOO serious... A hard worker, but needs to relax with the public more. Price - $11. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2009. 2022 at this location and with your 4 total locations.

SLODOCO really goes all out when it comes to donuts. I always make it a point to stop in here a couple times when I am visiting. Since there are two locations, I had not yet visited this location and it was so close to the AirBNB I was staying at, we walked over and snagged some fresh, warm donuts. They feature 100 different donuts and if you are vegan they got you. If you need gluten free, they serve them with glee. My favs are the serious chocolate cake donuts. So moist, so light, just right. You are also able to order your donuts customized. So if you want to spell your name in donuts, this is the place that can provide this service. Every month their bakers get together to create new and inventive donuts. I have seen so many unique ideas through the years. Service is always friendly and helpful as sometimes it can take a while to select your donuts. Merchandise can be purchased as well. This location has a nice patio to sit outside and enjoy your purchases under that glorious central coast sun. Wander on in and let the smells and tastes take you to donut heaven!

Got 4 donuts one not pictured.

I just went in to grab a few donuts for the family on a Sunday morning. We have been going to here ever since they opened. Even had SloDoCo do personalized donuts for our wedding. This is the first time I have been to this location. I was very disappointed!! The girl working the counter at 8:45 on February 1,2026 with dark hair was so rude! She literally threw my donuts in a bag with a attitude. I asked her for a box so that my donuts wouldn't get destroyed. I am sure it's a policy to use bags when they can, to save money. But if you are getting specialty donuts with frosting and toppings, you don't want them to be destroyed. I am paying top dollar for these donuts. STOP being so cheap! Once again she threw them in the box, had an attitude the whole time. I don't know what her problem was. She should not be in the front helping people. Very poor customer service!!! I will not be back. Not okay! Treat people better and check yourself!

Best donuts in SLO!!! This is a regular stop for us when we visit SLO! The service is always top tier and the store is so cute inside!

Donuts very colorful

Went to SloDoCo and ordered a box of various donuts to try out. They looked great and colorful so I tried the chocolate glazed first. The cake itself is dry I don't know if it was the actual donut and who made it but I wasn't expecting it since the reviews are pretty up there. The one lady was super nice and it is open 24/7 if you need your donut fix but otherwise I would go somewhere else.

Small donut shop open 24 hours. They share a tiny parking lot out front with an auto repair shop. I didn't see restrooms at this location. If I'm being honest, the vibes were cute but the donuts were just okay. I liked the bread part, but not the fillings. Still, I appreciated the variety (over 100 flavors). - Cold Brew ($4). Standard, but good. - Chai Cream Cheese Pillow ($3.80). The taste of the soft yeasted donut with glaze was good. However, the filling was uneven and lacking in flavor. There was hardly any cream cheese in the first half. The second half had more, but it was runny and translucent and did not taste like cream cheese. The flavor of the donut was not "chai", but general warm spices. - SLO Yo Roll Croissant ($5?). My bf got the blueberry roll croissant. The croissant had a very crispy and flaky outer shell, which wasn't greasy. The taste of the spiral was more bready than buttery and flaky, but I think that's just the sacrifice you make for the shape. I liked the flavor of the bread itself. However, I was disappointed by the artificial taste of the blueberry frosting inside. It wasn't too sweet though.

I'm so in love with everything about Scout Coffee on Foothill Blvd in SLO! I'm actually bummed I…read moredon't live here and was just visiting. If I lived here, this would be my GO TO spot for ALL my coffee needs. The space is thoughtfully designed with many furniture pieces from repurposed goods. It is spacious with a light, bright airy feel. All the "baristas" were so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their job and their coworkers. They set off a very cohesive vibe. I wish I could have spent the morning just being there but had to leave for a funeral. So many things caught our eye! The baked goods were devine. The T-shirts were super soft and I would have bought one of they had our sizes. The roasted coffee beans were priced fairly. I haven't even gotten to the coffee yet! There were so many iced coffee/cold brew options it was really hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Lemon Pistachio shortbread cookie, a Ginger Molasses cookie, a seasonal scone: Honey Cinnamon, an iced Latte and an iced Vanilla Bean Latte: 1/2 sweet and a bag of Classic Espresso beans. My only sadness was I should have gotten a large latte instead of a regular. We saved the desserts for after the funeral and enjoyed the yummy coffees on our way. The Ginger Molasses cookie was perfect. Moist and chewy and not too much ginger. I should have bought more! The Lemon Pistachio cookie had a lovely balance of lemon zest and fine pieces of pistachio in the cookie and a not too tart lemon glaze and pieces of pistachio on top. It wasn't dry or super dense either. Someone making these is an experienced baker! The Honey Cinnamon scone was the best scone we have ever had. It was messy but so worth it. If you want an entire coffee experience, you have to visit Scout Coffee on Foothill Blvd in SLO. You will not stop thinking about what a beautiful experience it was after you've gone.

I just opted for a basic vanilla bean latte. The person that took my order was super nice and patient! There were a ton of students that were studying or chatting at the tables so there were limited seats available. Their windows are all open so there's quite a lot of sunlight coming through the windows which adds a nice touch to the entire store. It did take a little bit for my drink to get made but I honestly appreciate baristas taking their time with each individual drink instead of batching everything. Drink: Iced Vanilla Bean Latte (7/10): This was good! I tasted hints of the vanilla bean with every sip but I thought it was too milky. It was still delicious and had some coffee taste with each sip!

Never fails - LOVE This Place…read more Boogie Board Breakfast Burrito with gravy inside. This was good.. and perfect for on the go ... but my ultimate favorite is ...... the GNARLY BISCUIT SANDWICH - light and airy biscuits topped with sausage and perfect over easy egg and then smothered in sausage gravy.... ABSOLUTE HEAVEN! This is served open faced... not so easy for on the go - but perfect in every other way!! Staff are all super friendly and look like they truly enjoy working there. They moved to a bigger building across the street from their little hole in the wall, which is awesome. Plenty of seating outdoor and a good 20ish seats indoors (which is a whole lot more than before ) This place gets busy especially on weekends.. so get there early or be patient - trust me, it is worth the wait! I'm not a huge breakfast person so I opted for their granola yogurt bowl and it was so good! It has orange blossom honey which adds the perfect amount of sweetness to it, and you can never go wrong with almond granola (it's my favorite). My husband got their Portuguese burrito, which he really enjoyed. We also ordered a white mocha and caramel latte, both of which had great flavor! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back on our next trip to Pismo.

The donuts themselves are phenomenal, but they also make really solid breakfast options if you're not in the mood for something sweet. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches and bagel sandwiches are both great and worth trying. That said, the real standout here is their Vietnamese iced coffee. It's honestly the best I've had anywhere. I've tried Vietnamese iced coffee in different places across the U.S., and nothing has come close to DK's. Whatever they're doing, they've clearly figured it out, and it's a big reason I keep coming back. Parking is easy, and the inside is exactly what you'd expect from a classic donut shop. The staff is friendly and easy to work with, whether you're ordering something quick or picking out a larger order. They also offer a great variety of themed donuts for events like birthdays, holidays, work parties, or kids' celebrations, in addition to their regular selection. On top of that, they're available on delivery apps like DoorDash and Grubhub, which makes it even easier to get their coffee, donuts, and breakfast sandwiches when you don't feel like going out. Out of all the donut shops out there, DK's definitely stands out. If you're in Arroyo Grande, it's absolutely worth stopping by.
