We found our new donut place! It's farther away but we'll worth the drive. The donuts are fluffy, fresh, perfectly sweetened (meaning not too sweet, but sweet enough). They're pretty much perfect! The fluffiness is unbelievable! The gentleman who helped us was so nice! He was friendly and patient as we tried to decide on our dozen. He was so sweet to throw in some donut holes too! So hard to find a good raisin danish. Was this one the best Ive ever had - no but it wasn't bad. The gentleman that served us was so nice and did everything to make us happy. He brought out the fresh just made donuts from the back and kept giving us donut holes to eat while we picked all of our treats. He even threw extras in our box for us. If we weren't traveling from out of town we would've packed that whole rack of donuts with us. The Apple fritter was probably one of the top fritters we've ever had and trust me, we have become the Apple fritter experts these days. This fritter is second to the best we've had at High Hill in Apple Hill. My boyfriend wouldn't stop talking about going back there to get more donuts. We had a great time visiting Foster's donuts this morning! Their maple bar doughnuts are the best we have ever had and are in a category all their own. We are from the Orange County and we drive here anytime we are remotely in the area! Not only were their donuts, amazing, but they are very kind and accepting to people with disabilities. My son is autistic, non-speaking and uses an AAC device to communicate, and they were very patient with him as he communicated with it. He was very loud and excited while ordering and they were so so kind to him each of the three times he went to order. It's a small mom and pop shop with fluffy, puffy fresh donuts that I'd recommend to anyone in the area. We picked a breakfast sandwich that had ham, cheese, and bacon bit egg on a big ol croissant, and several traditional style donuts.
