Who knows where else the dog goes during off hours if allowed in during business? We cancelled our order and left. We went to another restaurant in town and mentioned this to the owner there and they agreed it was wrong. And also proceeded to tell us rules even concerning service dogs in a restaurant. ( Which obviously is a different situation and they don't roam dining areas). This is California Health Code Violation. Needless to say we won't be eating here again. The Code: H&SC § 114259.5 prohibits live animals inside, citing potential contamination of food, equipment, and utensils.

What made this even more confusing was that the original plate included rice and salad, while the replacement consisted only of two skewers. If the restaurant was willing to replace the meal, I do not understand why a full replacement plate was not offered.
