I find the best stuff here. Great prices and very friendly staff. They also carry a lot of new stuff like Melissa and Doug products.

I really like Small Threads! What's great is you can find some really nice, high-end clothes and other quality items there for kids without spending a fortune. And I frankly can't justify spending a lot of money for something that is only going to be worn for a few months. I do agree with some of the other reviewers, it would be nice to have a little more organization, but all in all, this place is wonderful. If you have some extra time in your day, it's worth the trip! read more

As a mom to-be, I really like this little issaquah treasure! They have TONS of selection and great prices too! Lots of cute stuff and you can sell them your stuff too. Ive only been there a hand full of times, but its always been pleasant. This is my favorite kids consignment store. I've been shopping here for over 8 years and am always impressed with the quality and brands of the clothing. There's a huge selection, at all sizes, and it's easy to find what I need. There's also a huge toy section and bikes/strollers, and you can sometimes find cribs, dressers and more. read more

Great items, prices were a combination of good and a little pricey. But we did find some great bargains. Several people behind the counter which was great for being waited on quickly, but no one on the floor to pick up the items that dropped from racks or were left by kids. I LOVE THIS STORE AND IT IS NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! I highly recommend this Issaquah store for consigning and purchasing new and used items for infants, children and moms. Although the previous owner and management did anger me often, I am please that the new owner and manager (previously an employee from some time ago) is wonderful and very friendly. The store is spacious, clean and well organized, the staff is pleasant and their consigning and return policies are more than fair and remain consistent. If you haven't been for a while, stop in and give them another try. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have to disagree with the other two reviews posted so far. Maybe it's b/c I had SUCH an awful experience with the old staff.... And have felt that since going back, that under the new ownership the customer service was definitely better..... Organization and lack of clutter are not "Small Thread's" strong suit, BUT, very inexpensive lightly used clothes are (and tons of them!!). And that has been the one major change I have noticed. She prices things to move, and I like that! Is kind of like shopping at Ross.... While you know it's not gonna be the most prestine, immaculate store, you can score great deals! I spent $40 last time and left with a ton of great stuff!! (GAP, Old Navy, even some Janie and Jack!) I go to Small Threads when I need ALOT of stuff....when my kids have just hit a growth spurt and I need pants, shoes AND tops. It really is worth sifting through the jammed packed racks and racks of clothes! I'd tell any of my friends to at least give it a chance..... Just go with the attitude that you're stopping at Ross, for kids :) read more

I visit here regularly. I bring stuff in for consignment on occasion, but usually I go to shop. I can ALWAYS find wonderful clothes and toys. The staff is generally friendly and quick to ring up the purchases. The prices are sometimes more than I would like to spend, but the quality of the clothing is typically great. I buy most of my kid's clothes here. I also get a bunch of their toys, footwear, and other random accessories. They have a great section of new toys and gear as well. I love looking at the cute stuff at the front of the store. I also got a great bike thing to hold kids here and was very pleased with the whole thing. Oh! And the play kitchen that we love also came from here. and the Easel. I shop here a lot. lol. read more

Always stinks like poopy diapers. Clothing is a bargain but you have to pick carefully through stained/dirty items. Everything else is overpriced. I was looking for a stroller. Saw a decent one for $60. Thinking it was too much when I took down the cover. Barf. All over the sides. I wouldn't pay $20 for that. They need to be more judicious when accepting items. read more

Horrible store, first the staff could care a less on greeting me at the door. They seemed rude and snotty. The prices were ridiculous for used, dirty items. It wasnt organized. I started coming to Small Threads when our first grandson was born. It kills me to pay full price for an outfit a child will wear for such a short amount of time and this store offers everything you can think of...dress and casual clothes and PJ's, shoes, toys, books, DVD's, strollers, bikes, etc. They don't have a lot of N-9 month clothing as I'm told people (other than myself, I guess) don't shop used for those items. They have a very small selection of maternity clothing and parenting books. There is a good selection of brand new toys and gift items. I also consign our grandsons' outgrown clothing for credit that I can use for future trips. If you want to consign, you set up an appt. for up to 35 items (seasonal). You can bring in up to 6 items (seasonal) at any time. They use guidelines for accepting clothing (good condition, no tears, excessive pilling) but it must be a little hit or miss because I've seen clothing on the racks that shouldn't have been accepted. You have the option of picking up unsold items or they will donate to Eastside Baby Corner (a wonderful organization!). You can also lock in on a pickup day/time. The used toy section is fairly chaotic because children are allowed to rummage through and play with items, leaving them on the floor etc, but I've found really nice Melissa and Doug puzzles and games...you just have to have the patience to sort through. Great consignment store for kids! It has the traditional baby/toddler/kid clothes and toys on consignment as well as cribs and other baby gear. There is also some maternity clothes. Interestingly they also have a cute selection of new toys and clothes for sale in the front section of the store. If you sign up for their emails you will get occasional notices for sales. One great thing is the amount of clothes that are there - a ton. The drawback to that is that the racks are very crowded so it can be a little difficult to look through. There is a mix of higher end labels (Janie & Jack, Gap, etc) to off brand so if you have the time you can find the type of clothes you are looking for. I personally wish that they would switch to the pricing format of having an initial price for the consigned item and then after a set amount of time (6 weeks?) it begins being discounted. Just my own preference though - the prices are already reasonable. read more

Although this isn't my favorite consignment store, it is good. The owner is very nice and I do find little gems here and there. They also have a nice collection of new items including rainboots, Melissa & Doug toys, tights and some decor items. It always seems they have great resale strollers as well. Their equipment is in great shape and they have a huge selection of clothes of all sizes for both boys and girls. My kids love the toy section where they can try things out before we buy them. This store is a wonderful place to go in Issaquah, I always enjoy looking at things that are usually WAY out of my price range in regular stores and bringing them home to enjoy for my baby girl! Dixie works at the front desk and she is a wonderful mother as well, today I went in and she gave me all the help I needed finding a bed rail for my toddler and was nothing, but honest and really down to earth. Picked up a cute mobile for a new play and pack for my visiting granddaughter. I asked the girl at the front desk (who seemed disinterested) if it would fit and she said "sure". This place does what it does well. Yes, the clothing could be more organized but it's divided by size and gender so I feel like that's pretty good. My kids love the toy section and the prices are good. Most items are in great condition and we've found so many things that look brand new at half the price that I'm a huge fan. The best part is, you can sell your stuff through them when you're done with it. read more

I've never had a bad experience here, and have saved hundreds shopping here for clothes, toys and other items. They even have cloth diapers. The prices are better than a lot of the other consignment stores. Sure it can be crowded sometimes but it means people are actually shopping and consigning here, and there is always a lot to choose from. Thumbs up from this mama! read more

Small Threads is a great consignment store. It has a lot of clothing and plenty of just about everything else for baby and child. The clothing racks are decently organized but a touch cramped. However, the store will be renovated in early 2015, allowing for more elbow room. The deals on clothing and other low-cost items are fabulous. The prices for higher-ticket items are so-so, depending upon the item. While it may take a while to look through all of the items, I've found some great deals there. The staff that I've interacted with have been courteous and friendly, even when there was a line of waiting customers behind me. The owner is very nice, professional and helpful. I've just dropped off my first load of consignment items, so hopefully the procedures for consigning will also impress me. read more

Well, let me tell you about this business. When you are buying, they don't give you any attitude, but when you decide to consign few things, they start giving you problems, such as, insulting remarks such as "You need to wash this!", "You obviously never washed it", "DOn't look at me like that' , "Oh, you came in last week and was upset that your clothes and toys were not out yet". Yeah, yeah, yeah..... Well, my stuff was stored in my garage under dust for years. And, I would have sold those stuff myself if I listed it on Craigslist myself while you guys stored it in the back which is probably so over croweded and un organized that you cannot even locate my things after owners bad attitude and her disrepect was too much for me to handle. They still owe me several things I brought in to consign and they took and made money on, while owner, Wendy goes around like she is a hot shot talking to moms with great disrepect and attitude that she is doing "YOU" a favor not the other way around. Never go there again. I went to Oshkosh in factoria and gap on sales and I found NEW items at cheaper prices. I brought toys they sold at same prices as new items and I only got 40 percent of it! No appreciation what so ever. She has terrible attitude and personality problems. read more

I DEFINITELY experienced the attitude mentioned by reviewer "best m.". Mine came courtesy of the woman who supposedly can pay you for items you sold there. Be careful, because every time you call or go in, you could get a different answer about whether or not you will get paid and how much you will be paid. In my case, I went in to get a check and was told it had to be from a certain person on a certain day. Fine. I called back another day from close by, she was there, she told me how much I'd get, I said I'll be right over. When at the counter 3 minutes later, suddenly the amount I was to be given was $2 less. Some sort of mystery fee had appeared in those ensuing minutes. When I protested, I was told to take it or leave it. I said that their customer service was the worst, I would never shop or consign at the store again---and for my trouble, I was sassed by the girl on my way out the door, as loudly as she could. I had my son with me, otherwise I would have given her a piece of my mind in not so pleasant terms. You can definitely find new merchandise at better prices if you go to the Oshkosh at Factoria or Oshkosh the Outlet Mall in North Bend, as "best m." mentioned. read more
