New drain pan , new flute pipe , new gas flex and black pipe out the furnace
    Papa H.

SmartAir was called to look into a condensation leak. Technician Pete reported it was a plumbing issue and couldn't fix it. While he was there he was asked to look at the furnace. Get story in perspective: Sister-in-law is care giver for husband. Home was designed by him 45 years ago. Like us things fail , like our home furnace's. He said you really need to fix the furnace. The gas company had already turned off the gas to the unit in fear of a serious problem resulting. He wasn't allowed to turn it back on and said she had to have another furnace. We got wind of the entire situation here in Tulsa. OK, and reached out to Smart Air management. I was instructed to contact their individual in the field. After explaining who I was, he was very very helpful in working with me in getting a new furnace ordered and installed TODAY! Young mans name is Pete! I'll be forever appreciative of his professionalism. He handling all my calls and did exactly what was needed. Less than 24 hours after contacting Smart Air, they installed the furnace complete. Smart Air deserves 6 STARS! Caring gets Pete an extra Star! Oh by the way, they worked so well with me, they gave me a discount and tore up the check for the initial house call.

    Transformer

I called Pete on a Saturday morning and ran through some diagnostic work on my AC unit which had a bad transformer. Pete gave me great advice for free and I was able to replace the part myself and get my unit up and running within a few hours! I highly recommend Smart Air. These guys are great. Their only goal is to take care of their customers.

My invoice after a $70 "diagnosis." AC units only last 10 years? Not in my experience.

However, after checking our AC system and completing preventing maintenance for a really fair fee, Jason concluded that our AC system is in very good condition and it was more Thermostat wrong messaging than the AC system itself. My wife and I were extremely appreciated and happy Jason's professionalism as AC Technician and most of all for his/their honestly. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone, and I will hire them next time to check and do whatever maintenance in our AC system if needed. Thank you, Richmond's Air, for excellent service.

I rarely write reviews, but this situation is a must. Richmond Air installed my new HVAC for my…read moregarage recently and had the best price for the product and skilled install which is critical for performance. As a matter of fact there was a misunderstanding in the quote as I thought it included new ducts, but it did not. But James replaced for free due to the misunderstanding on my part. He did not have to do that because it was my mistake in communication. Prior to that I had 2 other hvac systems installed by another company. So I called that company that did the install to repair one. Within hours of repairing one hvac, the other failed. So I had to wait over the weekend for them to return to fix the hvac and on Monday my schedule. Then I decided to use Richmond Air for the repair. I only would be at my house from 8:30 to 10am due to a departing flight. I called Richmond Air at 7:30 AM on Monday to see if they could send someone to my house within the hour. The owner, James showed up with a staff member. So the other company's staff accidentally let out my Freon. James called the company and explained the mistake for me and arranged for them to replace my Freon for free. That is honestly and great customer service. He could have replaced the Freon and charged me, which is expensive and let me figure out the situation with the other company. So that deserves my business and yours. Trustworthy, competence and great pricing. I hope this review helps you select Richmond Air. I am confident you will be happy with the work and you will feel that you have gotten great value for the service.

It was one of Ruben's team members that came over and recommended the proper protocol in order to have the most efficient HVAc.

He suggested a…read moretakedown of the entire system from the ceiling to determine if there was a Freon leak (found none, but charged me $500 without a receipt). He then proceeded to the roof (where the compressor is) and determined that the capacitor is bad (changed). He also said that there is a leak, as the Freon was empty. We had set the next day for his next visit to fill the system with Freon and add a dye (a leak detector), but did not show up after multiple calls. Got a different company for a recheck. The Freon was full, and there was a fuse removal/disconnect (in the control box next to the compressor) that was obviously done by Ruben (no one touched the system since the original installation). And guess what: the system fired up once the fuse was connected, and started cooling like a charm. In summary: Ruben obviously tampered with the power supply to make it look as if the system was dead. There was no need for take down of the coil cover to check for leaks, there was no leak, and the Freon was full. The guy is a liar and a fraud. Don't let him get close to your house. If there was an option for negative stars, I would give him - minus 10.
