Fortunately I checked the dates on these J.R. Dippers although it wouldn't really have mattered if I didn't. Fresh packs were stacked on top of expired product. I go to Stater Brothers for FRESH produce as well as they bag your groceries for you . I am willing to pay more at stater Bro's when they are providing FRESH items . I have been shopping at Stator Bros for over 40 years. Lately, I have been shopping in Moreno valley Pigeon Pass location. Every time I go in the prices go up. I paid 40 dollars for eggs. Everyone in line was complaining about costs. I just cannot afford to shop here anymore. I love thier products but it's too expensive and they put fake tags on soda and other products that deceive you because in fine print it's only if u buy in quantity that u get the fair price. I used the app to order my groceries and have them delivered. The person didn't substitute the bacon or eggs. That would have been helpful as that was the reason I used them and to show support for Staters. My car is in the shop for a week. Very disappointed especially when giving a 15% tip. I then went to the Walmart app and ordered eggs, bacon and some other items. They were great and did substitutions for two items. The Walmart app is much easier as I go add on more or change. I won't use the Stater's app and now will consider just shopping with Walmart. I have liked Staters for the in foot shopping. Very disappointed with the person who picked up my items and delivery. I love this Stater Bros. The produce is good and the customer service is better. It's always clean. The butcher counter associates are fantastic!! It looks like they have a low staff turnover rate because I always recognize the staff. The store manager is often seen on the floor helping. On Thursday, 03/15/18, I left work feeling like crap. My RBF was on and I was scoping out the next person who would piss me off because they were going to feel my wrath. GILBERT was my cashier. He's straight faced and I didn't know what to expect. I was buying wine and he carded me. Okay. I think I was literally scowling at him. Then he says to me "wow, you look young...at least 10 years younger". Whether he meant it or not, I could tell he sensed my mood. He made me smile despite all that was going on. They do not practice social distancing here. Twice already have employees waited in line to purchase been right behind me I had to ask both to keep 6 feet. Also, the young guys they have clean the carts talk crap on customers right in front of the store. I went to this location today. I got 3lbs if chicken and I didn't realize until I got home that the guy at the meat counter used an open bag(the kind you'd use for vegetables) to put my chicken in. On Wednesday they blew me away by having greeters with umbrellas to walk you in and than help you to your car. So before we proceed to the check stand. We made a stop to stock up on flu medicine. We took advantage of the e buy two get one free. Always appreciate a chance to save money. ( Caution.) Here's where this store earns the grade of ( -5 ) . So I asked the young man at the register if I need to type in my phone number for the in store coupon. His response was in a rude tone ( I don't know ) so i shook it off . After 3 failed attempts to input my phone number. I asked him sir am I doing something wrong. Keep in mind a lady is standing right next to him ( Brandon) she is a key carrier ( Danielle) . Not once did she try to assist or attempt to guide this young man. So again I asked if I'm making a mistake by adding the one before the area code. His response was I don't know just put in (951) . Well I'm shocked at his continued attitude. So I re entered the number without any one . Before area code. Wow it works I keyed in a request for money back. To my surprise !! He Very Rudely attempts to put the money in my hand. I love shopping here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They also know how to hustle and get the lines down fast. I rarely wait long to check out. Today I went to their bakery to pick up a cake for my niece's birthday dinner that we were having at a local restaurant. The girls behind the bakery counter were extra nice and they went out of their way to add some extra decorations to the cake for me. They also put it in a pretty nice box for that added touch. This review is for the Bakery. Walked in on a Friday night to order a half sheet cake for Sunday morning. Bernice answered all of my questions about my cake order. I showed her a picture of a design that I wanted from my phone and she suggested that I place the order on Saturday morning and recommended that I talk to Cassie, the cake decorator. She said she is the best. I showed Bernice the picture of the cake and she said it looked like something Cassie can do. I walked away to do some shopping and ended up coming back to get part of my order started so Cassie can review it in the morning. Christian helped me because Bernice was away from the department. Christian let me send him the picture to his phone so he can print it out for Cassie. Christian and Bernice are both very informative and talking to them was very pleasant. Saturday morning, I went in. Cassie was finishing up her lunch so I did a little shopping while I waited. I came back to talk to Cassie. She was honest about not being able to do the middle design of the cake exactly like my picture, but she will try her best. I asked her if she can write it out in block letters and she said yes. Sunday morning, I picked up my cake. Cassie opened the box to show me and asked me if I liked it, and I said yes without hesitation. I mean the cake was already done. I had to be at church in 20 minutes. I didn't want to be mean and make her change it or try to fix it so I took it anyway. I got to church and put my little figurines on top. Overall, the whole experience was delightful. They are all very nice. They accept orders from 6 am to 10 pm every day. Bernice told me that if I order a cake on Saturday night at 9 pm for 10 am on Sunday morning that they can do it. Price was very reasonable. So if I need a last minute cake place, this is the place to choose. Just can't choose any crazy designs. Lol read more

Stater bros is very useful for general grocery shopping, I have been here a couple times a year for the last 4 years or so, prices aren't all that good but they're not overpriced, Forsure the produce is always fresh so that's a thumbs up, a couple month ago I came and I had a bad experience buying meat, their policy is 1/4" in their beefs when it comes fat, however, I feel like I was scammed, it was obvious they tried hiding all this fat, look at pictures, no kidding my 4 lbs "ball" Literally had 1 lb of fat, the whole center was pure fat, and of course I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was bad like this, but they had the fat facing down on the package so the good end was showing up. Recently I have been biting from Aldi and smart and final, both seem to have better prices and quality, specially aldi, very underrated store, would I come back? This store used to be wonderful before Shannon took it over. When Joseph was manager it was clean, friendly and accommodating. It was a big mistake to transfer him. The service deli never has chicken and when I called the manager to voice my concerns, she just brushed it off. When Joseph was manager he would have accommodated! The manager always reeks of cigarettes when she walks past you and never greets you. Very unprofessional! I even overheard the cashiers talking about getting transferred if they "didn't kiss Shannon's ....". What a shame that this store has come to this. I wish Joseph was back at that store. I will just take my business to food for less or winco. It's cheaper in the long run, but ashame that my local market is now a place of unprofessional attitudes and behavior. read more
