Internet orders seem to be this store's primary business. The store was bright, clean, well-organized, and offered a very wide variety. Prices on the whole were remarkably low. Technology abounds here, such as computers and scanners on all carts to enable shoppers to pay right from their carts. I purchased a few unique items I'd never seen elsewhere, and the cashier was truly friendly and enthusiastic.

The employee seemed super irritated with simple questions I had (because I'd never been there) and just barked at me to fill out the little paper slip. Trader Joe's also has unique floral arrangements that you don't normally find at regular grocery stores. Within 24 hours, maybe less, they were opening up and had that beautiful bright yellow they daffodils are known for. I love buying quite a few bunches so that it looks fuller in the vase! As much as I loved these flowers, they didn't last more than a few days. At both my house and my clients, these were tossed by the end of the week (I bought them on a Sunday.) Although I bought them at such a good price, I would still love for flowers to last a bit longer, not than less than a week.. (When I buy them at Safeway, they last 2 weeks!) I also bought myself a string of pearls (A SUCCULENT!!!!!) In the right hands, that baby can grow long and strong! I'll keep you updated on that one if you like! Service is always the best here. Just... erased from existence like it was in witness protection. I sat in the back of the lot for a solid minute processing the stages of grief. Denial. Confusion. Mild bargaining. "Maybe they're renovating?" (They were not.) The most unexpectedly entertaining part? Watching other loyal customers pull up. Park confidently. Pop the trunk. Grab their reusable grocery bags with purpose. Stride toward the door. Slow down. Squint. Pause. Existential crisis. We made brief eye contact, the universal look of "You too?" Honestly, we could've formed a support group right there between the abandoned cart corral and the faded parking lines. RIP to my routine. RIP to my parking spot. RIP to convenience.
