I used Yelp to put a blanket request for the Sacramento area, and Stress Free Auto reached out right away! I was able to take my car in first thing the next morning and was greeted in such a friendly and warm way. Knowing they had a few jobs ahead of me, they called a niiiice Lyft and made sure I got home free of charge! From there the communication was excellent. There were continual texts that provided information about their progress not only with searching for the main problem, but also a general overall inspection of my vehicle. Once complete they sent me an estimate, I called to coordinate which things I wanted repaired/addressed, and they sent over a finalized quote that I signed immediately. It was quick, informative, and quite literally stress free The main problem was a cracked exhaust manifold. Seems like an extensive repair, right? Well, they let me know later that afternoon that they were done! Amazing same day service! Absolutely incredible. It's been a month since the repair and I haven't had any issues. So, in my book, that's a job well done! The only small gripe I have is the cost. Again, it was same day service, so it's understandable that I might have paid more than I would have at another local shop, but they did offer a discount on the initial inspection cost. Some other shops roll the inspection cost into the cost of repairs, but unfortunately Stress Free doesn't do that. Plus, a couple of suggested repairs were somewhat of a laughable cost. If memory serves, they quoted me around $60 to replace wipers. I'm not sure if it was a quote for all 3, or just one, but I spent $15 on a wiper on the way home and installed it myself. Whatever, they are trying to make money! Despite my small price gripe, I will be using Stress Free in the future for any vehicle concerns I have!

I've always loved this location as I have a very long term relationship with them-I would say I have been bringing my cars here for well over 10 years-I bring my wife's car here,my daughters bring their cars here-it's been nothing but good experiences every time I come here. I will admit though I do things a little different than most customers in that when I go to Jiffy Lube I always drive there from my work then drop my car off and walk back to work and then come back a few hours later to pick it up-saves me time and allows them to get to my car at their leisure.Its really been a system that has always worked out for me On this particular visit it was pretty busy but after about a 10 minute wait they were able to check me in and I was on my way. I generally get a full synthetic oil change and it's usually around $80 or so,which to me feels pricey but Ive got a few work arounds,if one is willing to do a little work. One thing is there is always a Jiffy Lube coupon available on the internet that gives either $30 or $35 off service-so that always lessens the blow of the cost for sure. The second thing I do is not as easy-you see Costco in my area sells $100 Jiffy Lube gift cards for $80-so I generally pay with those and that's even more money off my bill-so with both those saving tips I feel I get a pretty good savings when I have to go get my oil change done at Jiffy Lube. I should also mention-these guys there do good work-I watch them when I'm in the lobby how they treat other customers and how they work as a team to boost each other up-they are truly a well oiled machine over there at this location of Jiffy Lube. In closing-I will say if your ever in the area and need to get an oil change-don't hesitate to stop by and let these guys do their thing-they are good at what they do and won't let you down.

If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced auto repair shop near Gold River or Rancho Cordova, I'd definitely recommend them. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! Destroyed My Engine…read more I went to this Valvoline Express Care on 11/27/2024, for a routine oil change (Invoice #2627590). What should have been a simple service turned into a complete nightmare. After the oil change, I drove for about 20 minutes and stopped to check the oil level. To my shock, the dipstick showed NO oil at all. I immediately returned to the store, and the staff confirmed that there was no oil in the engine. The manager, Frank Stevens, topped it off but made ridiculous excuses, such as claiming the dipstick on my Honda Civic is hard to read (which is nonsense). Another employee even asked if they should drain the oil, and someone else replied that there was nothing to drain because no oil had been added! Due to their negligence, my engine has suffered severe damage. My mechanic has confirmed that the engine now needs to be either rebuilt or replaced, along with labor costs. When I brought this up to the manager, he offered me a laughable $15 discount on a future oil change--as if I would ever trust them again! This store's incompetence has destroyed my car, and I will be suing them to recover the damages. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your vehicle.

There have been times where my truck was filthy! I would like to recognize an individual, Rob, who as I understand it has been a long time employee. When it was time to get my car, I was prompted to be ready to not recognize my vehicle because it looked brand new. It looked the same! Not only did it look the same but there was a few water spots on the vehicle. The wheels still had brake dust on it. When I opened the door and looked inside, the white interior still looked the same. For $90, I was expecting that they were steamed to lift away the dirt from within the creases of the material. I feel like this was just sprayed with a bottle solution and wiped down. Basically what I do at home, but I get at least a better result. All in all, the car looked clean, but not $200 clean; but maybe I just expected more than what I realized I was getting.

They responded very quickly, priced fairly, and even provided time slots they had open, so I headed to the shop that same Saturday. When I arrived, they quickly directed me to pull in to start the service. It seems like I had just sat down when they called me back out to show me the the underside of the van. They wanted to know where I'd done the prior oil changes since whoever did them had stripped the tread on the pan from tightening the bolt too tight. I could clearly see that what they were saying was true and the pan had no tread and had been leaking oil this whole time. There really would be no way to do the oil change without also changing the pan. I asked how much that replacement would cost, and told them to go ahead complete the repair along with the oil change. This is my mom's mini van that I was going to drive back down to LA, so definitely wanted to ensure I was safe. I was told it would take 2-3 hours, but was quickly out in about 1.5. They even provided a discount when I paid since the repair was unexpected and fast, which I really appreciate. They pointed out some other concerns, but did not force any repairs on me, which I am grateful for. Will definitely be coming back for any future oil changes and repairs.
