This time I needed HVAC service because my Air Conditioner stopped working during this awful heat-wave and despite being super busy & being around a holiday weekend, Honorable Air was able to come out in less than 48 hours from when I called them - which is amazing and I really appreciated! Today I had the pleasure of having Jesse as my technician (he is the owner and brother of Jeremy who was the awesome technician I had last time). Both brothers truly are honorable, as I was charged fairly and given options for upgrading items on my unit. I never felt pressured and Jesse was very fair-balanced explaining what was optional vs his recommendations, etc. Jesse is very knowledgeable and kind! As a woman, often we ladies aren't treated as well by contractors, but that was NOT the case with Jesse! Jessie treated me very respectfully and never 'mansplained' me and never made me feel dumb (not even when one of the issues with the AC was something I could have easily remedied on my own). Jesse was extremely professional, attentive and considerate! Truly honorable!! The best part is that Jesse had the part I needed already in his work van, so he was able to install it immediately and I didn't have to wait for him to order the part or go pick it up - as he was able to fix everything the same visit! My house is already cool again and I'm so thankful that the entire experience was so fast and efficient! What I also appreciated was how Jesse educated me on preventative care for my HVAC unit so I can keep it running without problems/service for longer. I will totally put his tips to use - as one tip was that I wasn't changing my air filters frequently enough, which was putting unneeded stress on my system (and that is a simple fix to make!). I also had a question about some HVAC products I had seen online and he was able to give me his professional opinion that one was gimmicky/not worth my money but the other would be worth looking into. Overall, I'm super happy with my second experience with Honorable Air! Honorable Air is for sure my top recommendation for a HVAC company in Orange County!

Jimmy is a professional, a man of God, a pererson with integrity, and a humble heart. Quickly did he offer to make things right and I gladly gave him the opportunity. He checked my file and clarified the financing wonky loan statement by the finance company. Everything was cleared after I spoke with the goofy finance company. TLDR: Suspicious about a quote I had received from Big Wave for $3,123 in repairs to my blower I…read morereached out to Shawn Lambert HVAC for a second opinion. I had troubleshot past the capacitor (good), and Big Wave recommended replacement of circuit card, fan, motor, and igniter. Why would all of those items break simultaneously, and parts would take 3 weeks to arrive. I called Shawn Labert and they weren't able to schedule me until the following week. Shawn called me back immediately and remarked that since I had already taken the trouble to check the capacitor, replacement of the control card should be well within my ability. He even suggested ordering one from Amazon which I had assumed was only available from an HVAC supplier. Finally, he even offered to be available to answer any technical questions I had. His encouragement was all I needed! I found a replacement card on Amazon sold by Rheem for $151. It arrived the following afternoon. That night I installed it within 30 minutes, and my blower roared to life! I literally saved $3,000 and 3 weeks of living in a hot house. In the future, I'll call Shawn Lambert if I need HVAC support.

Tom came to assess, said he could fix but seemed hesitant. Our house is old, we had an ugly old non working swamp cooler sitting on our roof w a big gaping hole in our hallway. We asked if he could work on the swamp cooler too which he said yes, but he actually suggested we consider upgrading to central heating and air. I laughed at that because I had a few quotes from others (central heating and air has been my dream since I bought this old freezing house). The quotes I received from a Costco partner was $50K! You read that right, $50,000. Another was $30k. As you can see w quotes like that my chuckle at Tom's suggestion of central heating and air was warranted. However, when I mentioned my previous quotes I think Tom might have laughed. He quoted us for the removal of the wall heater, swamp cooler, and a brand new central heating and air unit, not even 1/2 the price of one of the lowest quotes I'd received. We couldn't believe it. We jumped on it and his team got started a few days later. Watching them work together was literally a joy. Talk about team work! Always on time, clean and efficient, the job was done in a few days. I've lived in this house since 2009, and I no longer have to wear layers to bed. We're so happy with the service, the unit and even the cosmetic repairs on the roof where the ugly swamp cooler sat, and the hall where the wall heater was and the open rusted hole in the hall ceiling from the leaking swamp cooler shaft. Words cannot express my gratitude. It's the little things people take for granted as I never thought we would ever be able to afford central heating and air. Although it was a strange and difficult situation, they stuck to it until the problem was resolved. The techs Danny and Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. Another thing to add, the way the company communicated back and forth with me was great. They answered every call and every text. Most of the time I spoke with Stacey and she was great. I learned SO many things today about a/c units from him that I never knew!! He explained about the capacitor--been hearing that word for years but never knew it meant something sort of like a battery in the condenser unit (that big metal cube thing that sits in your backyard that powers all of the life-sustaining cold air in the house that keeps you from certain death during a heatwave...LOL!l), flushing the drain lines etc. Also learned how to do simple things like opening the drawer for the filter--DUH! I'm so lame, I'd been trying to open the big flat panel to put in a new filter for some time but gave up --then the other day I realized the drawer on the bottom was the thing with the filter, but because I'm arthritic, I didn't think I could pull it out. Alan made it real simple for me and showed me there's a latch on it that you squeeze and voila!--it just opens! For a year, I haven't been able to master that one simple trick--LOL!!
