Positives: Driver called and provided eta and arrived on-time. 10.5 hours of hard work. Driver and lead (only english speaker) asked good questions, did walk through about what needs to be taken. They were helpful in packing areas we didn't get to before the move. negatives: 3/4 guys didn't speak english, this boxes were left everywhere instead of their marked location. wardrobe boxes did not have hanging bar, thus all clothes were left on bed creating a huge mess. some boxes were not packed carefully, resulting in broken kitchenware. some boxes, items were dumped instead of carefully packed. Overall, 4 guys did work really hard, got all beds setup, placed all furniture items in their correct spot. Cost was $480 deposit, $2100 for actual move and a $600 tip. read more

Arrived on time. Fast movers. Great job with move. Finished within quoted time. Took a long time to get an invoice from owners, but other than that...great job with move itself! Would use again. Good rate. Just don't expect fast admin stuff like copies of invoice etc. However, they are very responsive to emails/texts, so that was a redeeming quality, and I did eventually get the invoice I needed for work reimbursement purposes. Our movers, Mike and Justin were amazing! They were on time both in Bay Area (pick up) and the next day in Seattle (drop off), extremely professional and hardworking, made it work even on our steep drive way with the dollies and no damage to any items (at least the ones we've unpacked in the last day since the move). We had to request them to take a pizza break between so much hard work while they wanted to continue working. Overall the service was economical too. I scheduled a moving from a 3 bedroom home to a 4 bedroom home, and the work finished in just 3.5 hours, with a half hour drive. The movers team has wrapped all my furnitures nicely, including some glass pieces. They are careful on setting things up and patient in helping me adjust things in good locations. Very smooth experience and had the lowest price by a significant margin for my 1000 mile move. Handling everything with this move was one of the most stressful things I've dealt with in a while, but these guys made the actual process of getting my things from point A to point B extremely simple. The day of the move, I still had quite a number of items I couldn't figure out how to get into boxes, but they handled everything no problem. They cleared out my apartment in no time at all and then got on the road. Only my stuff in the truck, and they went straight to my place, so no waiting around for 3 days with none of my stuff, which was much appreciated. The next day and 13 hours of driving later, I met them at the new place. They arrived an hour before me and the truck was nearly empty by the time I got there. The guys were super friendly, reassembled my bed, and then got back on the road. I've looked through all the boxes and checked all the furniture, everything is in as good of shape as before the move. Had a great experience with this team. They showed up on time, were pleasant and moved quickly. They had to take apart an IKEA bed and I've never seen it done so quickly and put back together again in the new apartment. We didn't have expensive furniture but they wrapped it and handled it with care. I was moving a two bedroom apartment and it took two guys four hours to finish. I think the only reason it took so long was the slow elevator in the building, otherwise they would've been done in under three hours. We hired SmartMoving for our clinic relocation early September 2019. The owner Larry was very responsive answering phone requests and questions. The size of our clinic was big and we had some really heavy items, such as electric hospital beds and large furniture that could not be disassembled. Moving our clinic was indeed a daunting task! In the beginning, only 3 out of 4 workers arrived with the truck. We were concerned about the possible delay, so I contacted Larry. He was nice to assure us with another truck and two persons at reasonable cost. We were very pleased with the movers' work ethic and quality of work. Most items arrived intact. The whole loading and unloading took 13.5 hours till 1:00 am. It was a very long and labor-intensive day for the staff, and the five workers did their best until all work was done. That was respectable! The employee Ruben, John and other three workers were very friendly and hard-working! Be sure to buy them meals and tip them well! read more
