I had my iPhone 7 glass repaired here. When I got it back I noticed whatever 2nd hand glass they used had a blue tint to it, and the touch screen is not completely consistent. I.e. when texting it doesn't recognize, I have to hit the home button and go back like you needed to reset. When applying the tempered glass screen protector, the glass cracked when rubbing an air bubble out with very little pressure. (I only had this for 2 days) took it back over there. I took it back in and explained the situation. when the kid was messing with it he cracked the corner. The glass split all the way to the corner from him barely pressing down on the screen. He gave it back and said they can't replace it. Not happy with the product at all. It's cheap! I'm not sure if they even offer a legitimate apple glass. They never explained or offered anything like that. Before all of this I had it quoted at 4 different repair stores. This one was $100. Most others were in the ball park at $105,$95, $110. I was referred to We Fix, but this one was down the street from me so I thought I'd give it a shot. I definitely would not go here and would not recommend this place. Went in to fix my wifes cracked screen on an iPhone 6s plus. The price quoted on the phone was good. Phone was fixed in about an hour. When it was finished there was a small problem with the home button, it was repaired imminently after i mentioned it. The staff was friendly, honest and straight forward. Dropped an iPad off for screen/home button replacement last night. They said it would be ready in 2 hours (it wasn't). Quoted $110. We will see if that's the price they actually try to charge. When I called today to see if it was ready (they said they would call my wife when it was ready, but never heard from them) the person that answered the phone said, "aww f#ck. Hello". There was an awkward pause because I thought I had dialed the wrong number. I asked if it was Smart Repair, and the guy said yes. When I inquired about the tablet's status, he said it was ready. Then, since I mentioned what was meant to be repaired, he told me to hold on. The home button hadn't been fixed because he didn't know it was supposed to be fixed, so he needed to ask someone what to do. He called back to tell me they had to order a part and it would be a few days before getting it back. I'm not holding my breath on that promise since they can't manage to communicate the work needed to be done from one associate to the next. And, it's a small shop. Can't be more than 2-3 people working in there. Also, they want $110 for a button repair and new screen. The screen sells for $25 online and can be easily replaced. They charge $80 just to change the screen. Meaning the mark-up is $55.. read more

I decided to give Smart Phone Repair a chance, after my daughter broke her screen on her Iphone. I attempted fixing one of my other daughters phone before and after finding out I had fat fingers and loosing screws, I decided to leave it to the pros. I have had my phone fixed by an apple technician before, most of the time you need to schedule an appointment with them, they are much pricier and it's out of my way. I saw a Groupon for Smart phone repair online, but I decided to walk in and talk to them first to get a quote. I was a little hesitant about getting my phone repaired by a third party company but after reading a few good reviews on yelp I decided to check them out. After talking to the young lady in the store and she gave me my quote I decided to leave my daughters phone to get repaired. They quoted me the same as the Groupon and in an hour and half the phone was done. Cory did a great job, my daughter has her phone working and now dad is happy that he can keep tabs on her! BE WARE OF THIS SHOP!!! I took my phone in (a Samsung Galaxy s6) was told it would take 2 hours so we left and did some shopping while we waited, we got back about 15 minutes before the estimated time so when we walked in the owner said "15 more minutes". No problem we understand that. The 15 minutes passes and then so does another hour.. no apology or even mention that it is going to take longer. At that point I should have known something was wrong. We get the phone back the screen seems fine, we even get the tempered glass. That night, not even 24 hours later, I go to take my phone out of its case and the screen lifts out of the phone and cracks! I call the next morning to inform the owner and see what he will do, he tells me to come in and he will fix it. We were going out of town same day for a trip to west virgina and I was worried they wouldn't hold up to fixing it so I made the owner aware I was leaving and he says "no problem, bring it in when you return". We get back from our trip and go to the shop right away and he says he will not fix it unless we pay more! that I had to drop the phone for it to break. I got the tempered glass, called not even 24 hours later and explained exactly what happened, and was told by the owner they would fix it only to drive all the way there from 29 palms and for him to tell me he won't fix it and will not refund my money. They indicated that they were not responsible for thefts and that I had signed paperwork indicating this. DON'T leave your phone with them for repairs. read more
