My foursome was #6 to tee off. Hole 1 from the red tee box had a water hazard - not left or right but right in the middle. Yes my ball went right into the water. However it was the only ball I lost. My foursome agreed the course was challenging- water hazards, bunkers, and barrancas. Many holes were either doglegged left or doglegged right. And a long course. Hubby said from the whites it was 6100+ yards total. Us ladies played from the reds and it felt long too. The course was nicely maintained. Our 19th hole was upstairs from the pro shop. The food was surprisingly good. Served banquet style. We had BBQ chicken and beef, mac cheese, cornbread, and green salad with brownie for dessert. Beverages included beer and wine and coffee and tea. The only con - one foursome was so slow that play backed up. And we had to be finished with lunch by 4pm. Many of us had to rush through our meal.

THE WORST PLACE EVER. This place has been nothing but a nightmare for the people who actually live…read morearound it. They torment the surrounding neighborhood nonstop, and it honestly feels like they've bought out City Hall because they get away with absolutely everything. They start cutting the grass at 6-7 AM, waking everyone up and causing constant noise and insomnia. And the "maintenance" of the course? It's basically nonexistent -- they just run the mowers and call it upkeep. Meanwhile, golf balls are constantly flying into our neighborhood, breaking windshields and windows like it's no big deal. The people who live here are the ones paying the price for their negligence. If you're thinking about coming here, please don't. Maybe if people stop supporting this place, they'll finally be forced to shut down and get out of our lives. Answer to the business wanting me to contact them: I'm not sure what there is to "discuss" at this point. For over a year I have repeatedly contacted you asking that grass cutting not begin at sunrise so that nearby residents can have the chance to sleep. I have called multiple times, stopped by to speak with the owner, and formal complaints and legal actions have already been filed -- yet nothing has changed. This is a residential area with many people who work demanding schedules, including nurses at John Muir Hospital who work night shifts and need to sleep during the morning hours. We also have elderly residents, cancer patients, and families who simply want to enjoy their homes -- especially during the summer when we would like to sleep with our windows open without being woken at dawn by loud machinery. I have lived here my entire life, and the current situation is unacceptable. If decisions were made through lobbying or special allowances to permit these practices, I will absolutely pursue every avenue available to challenge them. Additionally, there have been multiple dangerous incidents where golf balls have been hit far outside the course area and have landed on or near my balcony while I was outside. This is not only disruptive but potentially dangerous. This situation has been ongoing for far too long. The community deserves reasonable quiet hours and basic safety in our own homes. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed.

I thought I would jump on the review train and let everyone know that this place, despite being a 9-hole course, is one of the most well kept, friendly and welcoming course in the area. Every single thing that people have complimented is absolutely a FACT. But what isn't being said is what this place is doing for the game of golf and the golfing community. I have played golf (not very well) for 40 years. I had taken about a 13-year break and lost interest until Father's Day last year. My son-in-law, who had never swung a club, wanted to go try out a range. We dug my clubs out of the shed, cleaned them up and headed to Skylinks. I had never been, and just remembered how drab the place looked a few years ago. We showed up, walked into the club house, got a bucket of beers, a bucket of balls and headed out. I was blown away by how friendly and customer-oriented the staff was. We both had a great time, hitting the sticks, drinking some beers. The next day, the son in law bought a set of clubs and later that week, we brought our wives with us and they thought the atmosphere was great. That weekend, we played a round at Skylinks. No pressure. So much fun. Since then, we have both taken to golf. We have played multiple times after work. Played a host of courses in the area. We played in a charity tournament. We have even played in Hawaii and Mexico. Thanks to Skylinks, I am officially a golfer. And, I couldn't be happier.

I wish they had one similar where I live in the North Bay. One thing I noticed was all the parents bring their kids to hit some give golf a go. This place seems very kid friendly, especially when the bouncy houses are open. There are an abundant amount of bays at the range, so there is room for everyone. I like the self dispensing machine. Just tap your card, select your bucket size and whack away. I also liked the bucket w/ extra plastic tees...just in case your bay is missing the tee. Music was a nice touch as well. My only gripe...the range was too busy with signs, flags, 1000's of balls all over the grass. It was a bit of a distraction in trying to find the flight of my ball at times. Very small issue. I didn't go into the "clubhouse" so I have no idea what that was about. The food truck wasn't open. This place still rocked though. Odds are I won't be back, but I will remember this place fondly and wonder why I haven't seen another like it anywhere else...especially in the Santa Rosa area.

The kids loved the ones with where they put the ball on ramp and obstacle courses down. Lots of creative and fun courses including 3-4 challenges based off timing and luck. So much fun. Lots of parking. They have a section for private parties and had other games like ping pong. I think they allow you to bring your own food and drink .. maybe they have food trucks on busy days?

This is my second fitting with Darron DeGeorgis at Keppler's. My first visit was for complete set…read moreof Ping irons. Wonderful experience. I wanted to look in to replacing the "top" of my bag. I scheduled an appointment with Darron. A very simple process with Keppler's. I went in ready to remake my driver , 3W, 5W and possibly the hybrid set up. Keppler's Ask that you only bring in the clubs you are looking to be fit. Darron had the hitting bay set up quickly, and after a warm up, we started. I hit my current driver, usually 4-5 hits at a time. Darron evaluated the results and started to calmly make changes to my driver head and shaft. He also had me hit 2 different "new" Ping drivers and evaluated those results. Darron then had me hit my 3W and 5W. He liked the numbers, but made some loft adjustments on each and I was hitting them well. He had me go back to hit my current driver with a Ping shaft change. That was the correct set up for where I am currently. Bottom line, I was ready to replace three to five clubs. I was VERY satisfied with a shaft change , along with some setting tweaks. I was hitting the driver much better than when we started, and have even more confidence in my 3W and 5W. If, your goal is to be in the best equipment, fit for you, go see Darron. He is truly invested in you and your game, not in trying to sell you some "magic". Keppler's is terrific. Thank you Darron.

Really wanted to like this place. Heard good things about it from my dad and a buddy, but they only…read morehad basic things done here. I got a fitting which was the only good part. Darron is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about what he does. Got me sorted out with clubs I enjoyed. That's where the good ends. I ordered a full set of irons, a few wedges, wood, and a driver. The irons had to be shipped which is normal, but the wedges were used wedges that needed to be bent a little bit. They gave me the option to wait a bit and take them home same day or come back and pick them up with my irons. I figured I could just wait for the irons. They called me they were ready, went to pick them up. Oops we forgot the wedges hehe! Just come back tomorrow nbd! Yeah man nbd, I'd love to drive 40 minutes out here again to pick up two wedges that should've been done 2 weeks ago. Go back the next day, they have the wrong grips on them. (Forgot to mention they had the wrong grips on the irons as well) I did change them on a phone call a week before, but it was still written down. When I was visibly disappointed my grips had been wrong twice + having to drive back another day, they were like "shucks my bad" no other compensation was offered without me asking. Came back for a refitting because I wanted to adjust my lie degree on my irons, again Darron was fantastic. Great guy all around 5 stars for Darron. Thanks to him alone, I got a great set of clubs I love. Had my irons changed a few degrees and asked to have 2 clubs regripped because I wanted to try MCCs and MCC +4s. Again they messed this up and gave me 2 normal MCCs. Not even gonna go back again to get this fixed. I already know they'd look like I kicked their dog the second I ask them to correct the mistake they made. Never coming back here again. So my advice for any1 that decides to shop here, double and triple check everything you have done, because there's pretty much no quality control. The best part is they have like 10 people working there at all times and the ones roaming around are always nice seeing if you need anything. But the people that actually help at the counter are always somehow immediately annoyed the second you ask them to do anything. Old bald guy with glasses looked like I just kicked his dog before I even opened my mouth. Just go to PGAsuperstore, golf mart, galaxy, anything but here. Their return/refund policy is much worse, their prices are higher than other places, they have less selection of clubs, and besides from their fitters, their customer service is terrible. I can't comprehend how this place has good reviews. I am not a difficult customer by any means and am more of a pushover if anything when it comes to demanding service when they do something incorrect. Spend $3k here and they'll treat you like you're a burden to them for asking for basic services such as adjusting the lie on your irons or having them regripped. Absolutely wild work.

I have been playing golf 1.5 years before I maxed out at a 24hcp. I am almost 4 months in (7 lessons total) and am currently sitting at a 18hcp. We joked that's about 1 stroke per lesson! Hopefully I can update down the line with my final numbers. I chose NCGA because of the tech. It's so much easier when you can work on something technical and see the improvements in the data. I am driving from San Francisco so you know it has to be worth it for the commute. So far so good!

I visited to get my distances dialed in, and got assistance after with an email of the report. Turns out it was a single video of someone else. After several days of waiting, I finally got a report with some data. But Carry and Total Distance were not available - whether via browser or the Trackman app. Then I was told I had to have signed into the their bay when I was onsite. But when I arrived onsite with a buddy, we both said we need help getting set up and thus we thought we were - turns out that wasn't the case. Seems to me that if you know Trackman this place may be worth a try. If you don't, you should learn before you go or risk the chance of not having key data available after the session. Unfortunately, with all the back and forth and the fact I never got the 2 most important data points I wanted (the reason I signed up was to dial in iron and wedge distances) I would reconsider going here. When I suggested that all employees become proficient in Trackman and asked what they thought I heard nothing back. Probably worth a try, but, buyer beware. If I were the shop owner, I would have offered a return session on the house. This never crossed their minds. Too bad.
