This place is GREAT. The smash burger patty has an almost perfect amount of crisp. The bun and toppings were good with a high quality cheese. The pickles and onions were very good. The fries with the Cajun seasoning were the best fries I have had from any smash burger place. Period. Solid crunch on every single one. Their smash sauce was very close to Big Mac sauce, so if you love the Big Mac, you're going to trip out over this place. They are open LATE! That is my favorite thing about them. Great burgers!! Vibes need a little work but I'll def be coming back for some take out because the food was great. We ordered the double beyond smash burgers and the person helping us seemed confused, so we clarified that it was the veggie option. It does say Beyond on the menu (choice of wagyu, turkey, or beyond) so that's why we ordered it that way. There was a bit of a mix up because we received the lettuce wrapped version. Which was fine, we just asked for buns to add to it but the staff kept blaming us for the mix up. But if you look at the menu we just ordered exactly as it's worded. So that was weird. There is also no music and it smells like cigarettes every time the door opens being right next to the smoke shop. BUT the food ended up being delicious. The cajun and seasoned fries were also great. First of all I want to say that normally when you'd walk into a place you'd be straight ignored but this time the gentleman in the front was a very helpful and polite guy not only did he help me with the stuff I was carrying because I waited at the bus stop, I have a disability and he told me don't worry about a thing. The place was pretty nice compared to the rest of the shopping stores around it. It had its own vibe and taste to it, simply awesome! That's how a burger place should look and feel like. Like you're in the old days especially their iconic artwork on the wall really blew me away!!!! Very solid burger! In my opinion what makes a good smash burger is the perfect blend of everything involved! It was tasty and wasn't too greasy. I got the 4x4 and my wife got the cheeseburger. We both enjoyed it! The fries were just okay, but I personally think fries can only be so good anyways. Right away we were greeted with a friendly employee! Very helpful with any questions. Inside it's pretty small which I imagine people order to go often. Also I think it's either really new still or it's an extension of another restaurant. We went at night after universal, it was slightly hard to realize it was the burger place. So keep your eyes open for a sign or two. Parking is either the street or there is backlot.
