Best burgers on Kauai hands down. Friendly service. Fair prices. Great vibes. Can't wait for restaurant!

Bomb food truck! Smash burger was hella fresh and the bun was amazing. Pulled pork was really tender and the bbq sauce was delicious. You could tell the bbq sauce was homemade. Plate came with one soy sauce. Had to pay $1 for a side of bbq. Mac salad was a mix of mac and potato salad. Amazing!! My family and I will definitely be back!

Food truck. Was in the area and found by chance. Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich was very good. They had a big phone order so it took a little bit but it was good, even though a little messy. Requires napkins.

In searching for a kalua pig plate lunch, I was happy to find theirs. Not best ever, but it certainly scratched my itch. Lovely servers in a casual but lovely little nook.

I love that this place have 1/2 size portions & options for under &13. Being on vacation it's very refreshing! This loco moco was very good & flavorful. The chicken plate also was delicious yet simple. Service was fine it's a food truck go it's grab and go.

I came here on my yearly trip to Kauai with buddies while staying in Kapaa on the recommendation of a hostess at another establishment. I got the Candied Pig Blues burger (candied maple bacon and blue cheese) and the Asian Slaw side, both were outstanding. My buddy got the Loco moco. He liked his very much as well. Typical picnic tables for dining but they had shade to keep folks comfortable. No question I'm gonna be here again.

They were closed a few extra days so we almost missed being able to try this place. We had a Mushroom Swiss and a Double Cheese w/fries. Both were very good. The wait time wasn't long, what you would expect for a burger. The patties were seasoned well and you can taste the quality of the meat. Be prepared to use your napkins! Overall I was impressed and glad we didn't miss the experience. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the sweet pickles, but that is just personal taste.

My partner got the pork combination plate but they ran out of Mac salad so they gave him rice and a side salad instead. He said that the pork was really well spiced and that the serving was generous. He was just sad that there was no mac salad. But because there was so much pork, he was able to eat this for two meals and enjoyed that aspect of his meal.

Pulled Pork Sandwich was delicious! Nice and big portions. Well balanced in flavor of meat, sauce and slaw. The bread was soft and nothing seemed dry. It's a place you'll want to go back for more but really will be full. Biggest complaint is it is here in Kapa'a and nowhere near back home. Hawaiian BBQ at its finest.

Waited 25 minutes for two grilled cheese sandwiches that were completely charred. Overpriced as well.

Popular menu items include ahi katsu 10/10, chili pepper chicken 9/10, and Hawaii's own- loco moco (not a huge fan in general). They offer a variety of other options, including poke, ramen, and sandwiches, with convenient takeout and delivery available. It's definitely a local favorite due to its generous portions, authentic Hawaiian cuisine and friendly service. We ordered the fried chicken and poke combo with wonton chips and the ahi katsu (my absolute fav). The ahi was fried to perfection- crispy on the outside while rare and tender on the inside. The sauce on the katsu was absolutely fire!!! So good! Macaroni salad was creamy and delicious. And the rice was perfect. Obviously, you cannot visit Hawaii without having some of their poke- always fresh and delightfully tasty. The marinade was savory and packed with flavor.

Its right off a main road and you cannot miss it. Parking lot was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking. AMBIANCE: When I went there was plenty of seating. A bit dead, but I also did go pretty early. There were a bunch of decor of older American pop culture like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. But also Hawaiian themed decor (obviously). SERVICE: You gotta walk up to the front to order. I was approached almost immediately as soon as I walked up to the menu on the screen. The girl working was super friendly and welcoming. I made my order and she gave me a pager for when my food was ready. FOOD: I ordered the chili pepper chicken, which was recommended from the girl at the counter. My friend ordered the ahi katsu. The chili pepper chicken was good! It was crispy and extremely flavorful. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but luckily the rice does help balance it out. Some of the crispness was sacrificed for the sauce, but it was overall still pretty crispy. I loved that they used boneless chicken thigh. I was expecting bones or lots of breading but it actually had a perfect ratio. I wasn't much a fan of the mac salad. It was like a mix of mac and potato salad, but more like a potato salad. I'm not big on potato salad, so that makes sense. My friend's ahi katsu was alright in my opinion. The sauce that's on it was good and enjoyed all the flavors. The tuna was just a bit overcooked to my liking, but idk how else one would make a katsu without overlooking it too much. Maybe bread the fish and freeze it before frying? Idk man, I'm not a chef lol but the tuna would definitely be better if it was less cooked. OVERALL: Honestly, I would still come here again. I still enjoyed the meal and the service was pretty quick. Both items were both worth trying. All the flavors were there and the little things I didn't like were just personal preferences. Its a great place to pick up a lunch plate and enjoy it at the beach.

I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

The first night, my husband ordered the prime rib special with mac salad and rice, which was basically his dream come true, and I got the loco moco, which I shared with my toddler. Once again, every dish was a hit. The proteins were flavorful and filling, and the mac salad deserves its own shoutout. It may be my favorite mac salad on the island. This is absolutely the kind of place we'll return to on our next visit. It's also conveniently located near the airport, making it a great first stop when you arrive or a last meal before heading home.
