The Flying Dutchman was seasoned to perfection. I did get a few less than perfect fries, but I don't expect them to sort out every fry that isn't picture perfect. I went inside to place my order because the drive thru line was out the parking lot. I decided to eat outside, and the cleanliness of the dining area really stood out. A worker came by about every 10 minutes to clean tables and pick up any trash that had missed the trash cans. The outdoor seating area was nice and clean. Overall, it was a great experience with good food and attentive staff. My next trip to Vegas this will be my first stop!

Here is my problem, I HATE to waste food. Also, I never send food back. So a waste of my time and money. I am hungry and now upset. It's hard for me to be nice when dealing with issue whilst hangry. So I'll just throw it away and move on. My daughter and I usually go to a different location because, as she reminded me, this happened at this location a year or so ago. I am not sure what made me come here this time. But lessoned learned. Never again.

The hot dog is legit and easily the highlight of my visit. It comes the way it should, topped with sport peppers and that unmistakable neon green relish, and it's actually pretty close to what you would expect from a real Chicago-style dog. If you are craving that classic Chicago flavor, this part of the menu absolutely delivers. Unfortunately, the Italian beef did not live up to the same standard. I ordered the half hot dog, half Italian beef combo, thinking it would be the best way to try both, but I ended up regretting that choice. To me, an Italian beef sandwich and its marinade should have a deep, savory flavor, almost like a hydrated beef jerky, but this one fell flat. In fact, there were more veggies than beef! Meh. I might also be a little spoiled after having Jay's Italian Beef in Chicago, which sets a very high bar. Overall, Windy City Beef N Dogs is worth visiting for the hot dogs. But when they list beef before dogs... you expect more.

This last trip they had Angus burgers for a limited time. I never order a burger at a chicken place, but I did this time, and was very happy. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location ever again as the service is simply horrendous. This was my first time ever going, and I had heard that they might be running out of the promotional packaging so I decided to try and get there early. Upon walking in they were already several people eating and there were many employees in the kitchen. I placed my order at the kiosk at 0934AM but didn't receive my food until 0952AM, which was extremely disappointing as I had no idea it would take so long. What was extra frustrating was the fact that multiple people came in after me and placed orders and were served prior to I was, which I didn't understand - however I assumed perhaps they had placed online orders before me? Additionally, I was perplexed as multiple employees would come out from behind the counter and pose with customers in front of the advertisement displays taking photos - at a single given time there were three employees posing with customers which I found very strange. At a certain point it looked like a female employee was about to assemble my order because I saw a blue drink, however she walked away from the drink and tray to take another photo and then proceeded to take cashier orders at the counter. I approached the counter and the manager noticed me from the kitchen, he was dressed differently from the rest of the staff - I asked him what the turnaround time normally was because I had never been there and he sort of paused and said, "We weren't ready this morning, we needed fries", and I told him that was fine because I had never been there before so I was wondering what the normal turnaround time was so I could plan better (I was going to miss the morning showing of Mortal Kombat 2 due to the wait) but he didn't give me a time saying, "It can be ten minutes but it can be longer". He walked away after that and I sat down and continued to wait until eventually my order was ready and he flagged me over to the counter. Everyone was pleasant enough - however, they didn't seem very concerned with preparing the food, as they were more concerned with photos with customers... That being said, the food actually was quite tasty so I can't quite give it a one-star because I would have the food at another location. At the end of the day, there's a story to tell my Free Company! At least I can eat chicken in the game without having to wait for someone to care to prepare my food!

The small menu is comprised of chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, mac & cheese, and biscuits - the tenders tasted pretty good and were freshly made, but the chicken sandwiches (wrapped in foil) were under a heat lamp on the counter, begging to be eaten before they petrify. "Go grab a sandwich, either spicy or original" she instructed, while cooking up some waffle fries. The buns ended up being pancake-flat...born plump, then losing much of their baby fat under the mini-tanning salon. But the sandwich tasted decent, so maybe it wasn't as old, wrinkled, and decrepit as, for example, myself. The spice-less waffle fries were bland as elevator music so be prepared to dip them in Hatch sauce (blend of mayo, mustard, and hot honey). Mac & cheese arrived in a good sized cup and was very filling, but it amounted to mushy overcooked pasta drowning in a mudslide of Cheez Whiz. Al dente it was not...more like al stracatto. If they put a macaroni and biscuit combo on the menu, it could be called 'Limp Bizkit'. Drinks were mostly Coke products, but surprisingly the home made lemonade and strawberry dragonfruit drinks were very good with organic lemon pulp, organic juice, organic cane sugar. Inside, there's a digital menu board that changes every few seconds and there will be some decent finds. A two piece tender, fries, drink, and biscuit combo was being offered recently for a mere $5 (normally it's $8). So if you're hungry and gassing up at a Rebel station where these Hatch Chicken locations are, you could do worse than to grab some tenders or a sandwich there.

I headed to Hatch's because it is super close. I was helped right away and my order was completed very quickly. The staff were friendly and generous with the sauce. I got the 2 tender combo and it was surprisingly a lot of food. I couldn't finish it all. The tenders were good sized and moist and juicy, the original style flavor was good not bland but not overpowering either. The Mac and cheese was a surprisingly big portion for a combo and very creamy with corkscrew noodles that had a good texture. I can see why all the reviews sing its praises, it was delicious. The combo came with a biscuit that was fluffy with crispy edges (my fave) and covered in a sweet butter coating which though looked weird was delicious and the perfect complement to the rest of the meal.
