This used to be my favorite local burger place, until about 4 or 5 months ago, when the price stayed the same despite a doubling of the cost of beef overnight. They seemed to have switched to the most disgusting beef I've ever put in my mouth to keep their cost consistent. I had too many sensory issues to swallow it was that bad. The most disgusting thing I had eaten in probably 10 years. I got a few bites down before I realized this wasn't the burger I've been getting for years and it made me sick for 3 days. Sad, I can never trust this chain again and wouldn't return if they payed me to eat it. read more

My first visit will actually be my last visit. I always wanted to try this place since it opened and yesterday was the day. We came here for dinner and ordered Cheesy Caramelized Onion Smash with Oreo milk shake, Double Classic Smash Burger with smash fries and a soda (which makes this an entree) and a kids meal. It didn't take that long for us to get our food and the burger was decent. I would recommend the double classic smash burger but not so much the onion smash. As far as the kids meal, it is a decent size for being almost 8 dollars but the burger did taste little fishy. Anyways, as we're eating our food, we kept seeing the sign KIDS EAT FREE ON WEDNESDAY. Which we thought it was strange since we paid for my daughters meal. I went on the website and confirmed this promotion is still going on and dresher location is one of the participating store and we should have gotten the kids meal for free since we purchased an entree. After we finished our meal, my husband went up to the cashier and asked about the promo. The cashier goes back and talks to the manager, only to come back with "the promotion ended" my husband was very confused since the sign is flashing right in front of them and asked "when did the promo end?" and the cashier goes "uhhhhhhh 26th" I attached the photo of the promo that was posted on the website that states the promo ends on 12/31/2022. With the promo being advertised everywhere you see, I am not sure why they wouldn't give us the kids meal for free and lie that the promotion ended. So over 8 dollar and the managers laziness to issue a refund, spot burger lost a customer forever. But if you're in a mood to eat a mediocre burger and be lied to, spot burger is a place to be! read more

Food was decent. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was just the right size. The fries were hot and crispy. My husband ordered the bacon and cheddar burger but the cashier said they weren't doing that sandwich that day. It was on the menu so not sure what that was all about. We went for our first time, and was pleasantly surprised! The food, though we waited a little bit, was delicious and fresh. The service was impeccable and professional, with servers collecting our trays almost immediately after we finished - never expected that from a restaurant like this! I was out shopping and decided to stop at Smashburger to get something to eat. I usually read the reviews before stopping somewhere I have never been. This time I was reading the reviews as I waited for my food. The cashier was nice and friendly. He knew his job well as he helped me with my order. I decided to dine in, so he gave me a number and I found a seat. I decided on the Smoked Bacon Brisket Burger a order of fries and a Coke. As I waited for my food it gave me time to check out the place and read some of the reviews. I found it a little confusing how their system works. I wasn't sure if I had to go get my food when they called my number or if someone was going to bring it to me. This was because there were a lot of people standing around. I did find out a waitress was bringing it to me after asking. As time went on and I read some of the reviews I discovered how slow they are. Just through observation, I could see no one except the cashier had any get up and go about them. He was even in the back helping with the food orders when he had a slow moment at the register. The rest just took their good time doing the smallest task, like wrapping the burgers up. My Goodness! It hurt my heart seeing this in slow motion. It wasn't that busy and they were still getting the orders mixed up. It took about 20 minutes for me to get my food. The bacon brisket burger was pretty good. Plenty of meat, fresh bun, just a little greasy. The French fries were pretty good as well. Looks like everything is freshly made, so that's probably some of the wait time, but the rest just comes from no enthusiasm, lack of experience and disorganization. I would go back, but only if I have plenty of time to wait for my food. They get 3 stars because most of the workers are too slow and have no energy to work, but the food was pretty good. read more

Extremely unorganized and not ready to open, clearly. We got coupons in the mail to try out the new place so i went with my mom to pick up an order. Ordered just 2 burgers and a side of tots. I saw them make my order pretty much immediately after ordering and the burgers were ready in maybe 8 mins. However, the 2 ladies putting the food in the bags were completely oblivious to everything going on and were obviously not trained to work efficiently. The burgers were sitting on the counter for over 20 minutes and no one even bothered to bag it up until I asked. One of the burgers ended up in the wrong bag and there was a lot of confusion on that. Our tots were also sitting there, while she asked one of the cooks she needed tots even though he had already made them and put it in front of her. 35 mins to get a simple meal. They were telling people who were coming in there was a 25 min wait clearly to motivate them to turn around as they didn't even walk over to the counter to greet them. Food was fine, obviously a little cold and dry as it was sitting there for 30 mins. They definitely need to sort things out here but I unfortunately won't be back to try them out again. read more

Newly opened in Willow Grove it was calling us to come try it out even though we've been to the one in Jersey long ago. Who am I to not try out a new burger location. The wife just got a double bacon and I got the Colorado triple. Everything was made very fresh and it was served extremely hot. All the flavors were fantastic. Still enjoyed it. Really liked the onion straws, but for what they charge they could at least give you a full basket since they are only onions. Glad this is opened up here, this is around our errand route so very convenient. Nice addition to the area. read more

I come here all the time to get food for my family. It's incredibly convenient to order online and pick it up. The food has always been ready when it's expected, and the staff has always been friendly. We always do take out so we haven't eaten inside but it always looks clean and organized to me. The girl at the front was obviously new. Which was fine-- messed up our one order, ok it got fixed. The manager however... wow, the worst attitude I have ever seen. I got mixed feelings about this place. First the good; the front line crew were great;cashier and server were very kind and helpful. The ingredient quality was fresh and great. The fries were amazing. The burger was gorgeous and delicious-ish. The bad, like the other reviewers comments about the cookline, they did not care and it comes through in the food. The fries was amazing except it was ice cold from the A/C because the burger took so long. The burger ingredients were great but they went HEAVY WITH SALT on the beef patties, it's like they DGAF. And they were normal burger thickness and didn't have the characteristics of a typical smash burger. Back manager needs to step up and retrain the cookline. Fries shouldn't be sitting 10 minutes, waiting on the burger. If they can fix the logistics and fix the salty patties, this will be a great place for sure. read more

Meh, the burgers were just okay. I recommend ordering ahead of time. Even though we did order in advance for a later time, we still had to wait 15-20 minutes after the pickup time to get our burgers. The small size tater tots only came with maybe 15 tots, so it wasn't worth it in my opinion. However, the turkey burgers were flavorful and I did enjoy it. We came in early after an early basketball game. Cashier could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming which is why we are knocking off the star. Food came out quick for a semi large party of 6. I had heard so much about SmashBurger in the past, and finally gave it a try. I'm kind of amazed it is as popular as it seems. I had a single burger: SUPER tiny meat patty on a large bun. What? The fries aren't fresh cut, and they have a chemical additive which is common these days for frozen fries. Like everyone says, the service is slow, but that didn't bother me. I just couldn't believe they would charge so much for a tiny burger patty on a huge bun. Lol! Comical really. Perhaps a supply chain issue? Here's hoping they can pull through and improve. read more

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and everything has been good. My husband and I ate there today 12/26/22. It was horrible. My avocado club hamburger tasted like a hockey puck. It also felt like a hockey puck, it was hard, very chewy and had no taste. The roll was not fresh either. Food was great. service was HORRIBLE!!! Shanese is SO RUDE. She does not know how to talk to or treat customers. She was very ignorant. I stood at the counter for easy 10 minutes. Which was weird bc there were maybe 3 people in there, and she was just on her phone. Not busy at all. I finally got my order taken. Not a hi or hello but a "what do you want" oh? I didn't know this is how we treat people now. It made me want to leave! I was in such shock at how rude this girl was. By the looks of her uniform I'd assume she's the manager which is highly disappointing bc of her attitude and her lack of respect. They must be desperate. When it came time to pay I asked if she could break a 100. Any normal person would say yes or no sorry. Not from her tho. It was "I guess" NO ONE forced her to work here. Ok I'm from out of town and staying at a hotel not that close to this restaurant. I get to the hotel open the what should be a Classic Double burger (meaning two patties on the bun) only to find it's a single patty which is called Classic single burger and it's cooked beyond belief.
