First time eating at Smashburger in Largo tonight. Food was decent...burgers were over seasoned as far as they had too much salt. Fries were hot which was good. My reason for the 3 star rating was that the tables were not cleaned. Our table and other tables nearby had both food & drink residue which was not acceptable for an eating establishment. Also, there were straw wrappers in various places on the floor throughout the dining area. Not sure how often if at all the tables and floor are cleaned. Can't recommend a place that you have to eat on dirty tables... read more

The poor young cashier was having it rough from customers because the lady and guy behind the counter was only working on a catering order we had to wait 30 min for our burgers and they never brought fries. Very poor customer service. We wasn't the only customer. We spent almost 100$ for 5 people to eat and never got our fries because the cooks told the cashier to cook them they were to busy. read more

I like that you place your order with a cashier and not at a kiosk. The cashier was friendly and able to answer my questions such as what's the difference with regular fries and smash fries (smash fries include rosemary, garlic and olive oil)? Like others have mentioned, I do agree the music is a bit loud. Is it to drown out the super obnoxious milkshake mixer? Who knows... I placed my order and was given a number. 3 burgers, 2 sides and a drink ran me about $50. That seems pretty steep, so I had high expectations for this meal. After a short wait, my order was delivered to my table. The burger patty was cooked well and still juicy. Both the Chicken Smash and All American Smash were on the salty side and the fries were too oily. One of the burgers had no onions and only ketchup, where was the signature smash sauce? A little more attention to detail would have been nice as I felt like I didn't really get the true Smashburger experience. All in all, the meal was filling and the ingredients were fresh, but I wouldn't recommend the smash fries. read more

Ok, we actually love smash burger but stopped ordering cause they need to properly train their staff. It's been quite awhile since we ordered but decided to give them another shot. The bacon smash burgers were great! That's where that ends.... The brussel sprouts & smash tots were both SWIMMING IN OIL! It was so gross I had to throw them both out. For a fast food establishment, their burgers are ok. For that reason, when we saw the Superbowl special buy one, get one for wings, we decided to try them. There were six in an order for $10.99, which is not a great price. However, $10.99 for 12, why not? Ok, but not great. The Buffalo wings were a bit dry. I ordered a double classic smash burger today, a chicken sandwich, with smash fries. First off, $25 is egregious pricing for overall mediocre food. Second, it took over 15 minutes for my order to be ready while multiple other orders after mine were placed and ready before mine was. Third, when I actually got my order it wasn't even done right! I specifically asked for the double classic smash burger with simply no cheese. I Instead get a plain burger... with nothing. No lettuce, onions, tomatoes, or pickles. My chicken sandwich I also ordered had very dry tenders, and a soggy singular piece of lettuce on it. First time trying Smashburger. I ordered a double American burger and my wife ordered a truffle mushroom burger. We both tried the smash fries and two hand spun milkshakes, Reese's peanut butter cup for me and cookies and cream for my wife. Shakes came out first, disappointed to say the least. Super thin, tasted like only milk with a splash of melted vanilla ice cream. Oh, Reese's? No, just a spoonful of peanut butter. If you put Reese's on the menu I expect the item to contain it. Burgers come out next, the actual burgers are okay. Mine was actually pretty tasty, my wife didn't care much for hers. We instantly regretted ordering the "smash fries". The rosemary was okay but they were completely soaked in the oil. My paper lined was a pool of oil trying to soak into my burger too. All that for $42 and they wanted to flip the tablet for a tip. This was our first experience with Smashburger, and it won't be our last. I pulled into the parking lot and placed our order online. The order was promised to be ready in 10 minutes and was waiting for me when I arrived. While I had a classic bacon cheeseburger, my teen son had a double cheeseburger and we split a large fry. Everything was really tasty. My son and I both agreed the fries are amazing, and a large was the perfect size to split. The burgers remind me of a better quality Steak and Shake burger on a boujee toasted bun. The bacon cheeseburger totally satisfied my desire for comfort food. I'm not sure if I missed the ability to "combo" a meal and save any money. But the prices were a little salty, purchasing a meal ala cart. My Boyfriend and I ordered dinner from here last night and we thought the food was amazing at first, but unfortunately within 4 hours after eating it, we both started having symptoms of food poisoning. It is now the next day and we are both still feeling it....pretty sure it's Staph Food Poisoning from the burgers since it was the only meal we've shared over the past few days. I can't even give this store a one! But it made me!!! I decided to use my credit from a door dash horrid experience and I chose smash burger. I ordered the single turkey bacon, avocado, ranch and paid for aged cheddar and brioche bun and no tomato. My boyfriend ordered the double bacon regular beef burger with bacon and red onion and aged cheddar. We also got two fries a total of 34+$. We got my bun on his burger and I got a turkey with avocado and lettuce and nothing else. He got everything but no aged cheddar. I tried store and the number doesn't work. I text the driver he says it's the restaurants issue. I wish I could say my credit from the $43 issue covered it but no I got 13$ from door dash. The only reason I gave smash burger a try was because they have sweet potatoe fries. This was a good meal, burger hot off the grill brought out, bun was fresh, sweet potatoe fries were good as well. Some kind of cinnamon honey mustard sauce would be a great addition for the fries. All in all a good experience except for the price. This meal with a small drink was $20. A little on the pricey side unless they served the cinnamon honey mustard sauce with the fries, then I would gladly pay the $20 lol. read more

So this is in the spot where the Starbucks used to be. Convenient for a work lunch. Quick service with your basic burgers that you can get with chIcken, turkey, beef or black bean. Sides are good with fried pickles as an option. Nice. Seating is nice inside and outside. Chairs are not too comfortable though. I opted for the classic Smashburger triple doubled with bacon. All really good flavors. Meat was very nicely seared. Debbie tried the Baja burger which had very tasty flavors but was a bit hot for Debbie. Added a side of rosemary tots that were nice and crispy. The burgers continue to be delicious but the customer service is getting worse. Today, I ordered a burger and fries from some very moody young woman at the counter. She said they don't have fries, just tots. I said "I don't like tots, I'll just have the burger." She brought my food to the table, tossed it down like she was feeding a dog, didn't bother to reply to my "thank you" and of course there were tots (that I was charged for). One more bad experience and I'm done. My friend and I have heard all the talk about how great these hamburgers were. I had a single burger, French fries and ice tea. I was told that the ice tea is unsweetened which I like so I can use sweetener because I have diabetes. I looked for sweetener and couldn't find any so I asked the lady at the register for sweetener. They do NOT have sugar, sweet and low, stevia or anything resembling a sweetener. Are they just cheap? The small lunch was quite expensive for what I bought. The avocado bacon burger was great with all the toppings in good proportion and a generous amount of avocado. Smash fries were delicious, didn't need a sauce for dipping.
