First, it all seemed rushed. and some of the worst pain I've ever experienced from a professional. I say that as a Marine with multiple debilitating service-connected injuries. Since the procedure, my bite has NEVER been the same ( yes, I went back multiple times to fix it), and I developed a sore on my gums, which turned out to be a massive infection. I went to another doctor, having lost trust in this one, to which I was told I had a massive infection, a crack in the crown, and a PIECE OF TOOL stuck in my tooth. I have now been advised to have this tooth removed completely and get an implant. The new provider also mentioned they believed I didn't originally need the root canal at all. I went back to Miracle Smiles and retrieved my dental records, which I found a referral to have the piece of the tool removed. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS BY THE DR. This oversight should and is being viewed as negligence. I came to this practice in a vulnerable time of need and got nothing but pain, rushed care, negligence, and now THOUSANDS more in bills to correct their mistakes. If you value your oral health and financial stability, avoid this place. Learn from my experience.

(Crown work) according to their "dental treatment plan" they said I owed an additional amount. I found it odd because I had paid everything already out of pocket. Fast forward, recently my new dentist was out on maternity leave. I was at a time crunch. Therefore, i returned to Denton Smiles and saw Dr. Tran again. They supplied me with a complete and detailed "treatment plan" including x-rays. Again it was several thousand dollars. I'm a senior citizen living on a small fixed retirement pension, but am serious and responsible about paying my debts even if I use credit cards. Again this time I paid punctually 2 large payments over a few thousand. Again, after a month of having paid my bill (treatment plan") and dental work was completed, mysteriously i was billed an additional $200. dollars. Now every week i receive a harassing text of owing $200. I have called, I politely emailed and texted. But no answer or response. I requested a meeting with their accounts manager to show them a copy of their treatment plan and the payments I made that paid it in full. No response not even out of courtesy! Total I paid this practice $10,000 ! All to Denton Smiles. Their behavior can put responsible paying patients with good credit into a debt collection agency that ruins their credit! CAUTION: This facility does not keep their word nor respects their own treatment plans and bills they provide to patients. Even when you pay in full out of pocket and clarify insurance doesn't cover it (which they already know) they'll look for a reason to bill you a month or two AFTER you've already paid your bill in full. These are deceptive practices squeezing additional money out of responsible patients and worse ruining one's good credit. Months later, I am still waiting for the appointment to settle the matter.

The office was nice and super clean with medical grade air purifiers. My dental hygienist (Kristy) was so sweet and it was the first time my mouth wasn't sore after a cleaning. They are all so sweet and welcoming. Dr. Mackey is well experienced and is great at explaining things. For nearly all of my visits. I have had Lindsey clean my teeth who was super sweet and gentle. My last visit I had Amanda who was welcoming and super thorough! It was slightly uncomfortable, but i appreciate her thoroughness. For cleaning flavors. I recommend the birthday cake! During the visit, there's a small waiting room with a tv and keurig. In the cleaning rooms, there's a tv on the wall and ceiling to make time go by. Dr Kelly Kim took the time to explain why my tooth cracked and what was needed to repair. I purchased an annual basic care program (as I no longer carry dentist insurance), and to repair the tooth and into a crown the overall price was very fair. My nerves are stable in everything life except for dental work. They offered relax oxygen and made room for my repair the following Monday! I did not even feel the shots to numb up my mouth and the procedure went very well. Dr Kim is a excellent dentist and her bedside manner really made me feel relaxed and I am more than pleased for their effort to prioritize my mini emergency. I feel like I finally found my local dentist that cares about people in the community and having them take the time to listen to my concerns they made me feel relaxed and fully exceeded my expectations.
