I have always had an issue with my teeth due to my overbite and I had a crown put on. The tooth always bothered me. The crown was rubbing between teeth and you can clearly see a gap between the crown and gum. I had delayed replacing a crown for several years before l could find a dentist I could trust. Over the years, I have been to many different dentists and none of them can fix it the way I want. I was told by other dentist that the tooth needed to be extracted and I needed an implant and crown. I was not very happy with the thought of loosing a tooth. I did a lot of research and I finally found Dr. Aimin Liu and his staff. They did a wonderful job and the procedure was the best dental experience I have ever had (also completely painless)! Dr. Liu is very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to listen and address all of my questions and consult with me individually when we discussed my crown issue. He recommended the most conservative approach for me. He has never rushed me into making any decisions and He is extremely conscientious and detailed in his work. He is only satisfied with the very best and thinks in the best interest of the patient. Before the procedure, Dr. Liu diagnosed my tooth using digital X-ray and explained the procedure in detail. I have always been afraid of the needle but the procedure was truly pain free and fast. He applies anesthetic gel on my gum and then the local anesthetic is injected. I did not feel any pain during the whole procedure. Once we started, he kept asking how I was doing and explaining what was the next step. It really helped me to calm down. The whole procedure only took less than 20 minutes to complete and he put on a temporary crown while he made my porcelain crown. After the procedure I was a little sore just where the injection was which he told me may be the case. After 3 days, my crown was ready. After Dr. Liu placed the new crown, I was so happy. It perfectly sits between my teeth, not too high, not too low and there is no gap between the crown and gum. They have various payment options and fair pricing. Dr. Liu's team made sure I was comfortable prior to scheduling the appointment. His office is great at returning calls and making sure paperwork is done quickly and timely. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist for their dental needs or even for a second opinion. He listens, and makes you feel comforted. I have been to smile solutions several times to get my teeth cleaned and remove my wisdom teeth. It's a wonderful and comfortable experience. Making an appointment is convenient, and the staff will contact you two weeks earlier as a reminder. The office is clean and safe. After entering the office, the front desk will test your body temperature at first. One amazing detail is that even pens used for signing are sanitized. The interior is bright and quiet, and it is very beautiful when the sunshine streams through the window. I really appreciate the excellent technique of Dr. Liu and his assistant. They removed my four wisdom teeth very quickly and paid full attention to my feeling. I recovered very soon and haven't felt any discomfort after the extraction. Wonderful! Really BAD, HORRIBLE, UNBELIEVABLE experience happened on my 7-yr old kid when extracting a cavity tooth and later become a small dental surgery due to a mistake they made. Even worse, the Doctor reacted EXTREMELY RUDE by throwing the dental equipment heavily on the table and roared at my kid, "WHAT ARE YOU CRYING FOR? STOP CRYING!" to response my kid's suffering as anesthesia effect became weaker. My family, especially my kid feels really offended. My kid is still under a hard time to go through it. However, the litigant didn't given any sincerely apologize to my family so far. Even after we contacted with your assistant several times, but it looks like our requests have be unnoticed again and again. My family didn't feel any basic respect in this place, let alone the professional attitude as a doctor. Honestly, I really want to give a negative score, if it had. the clinic is clean as the attached photos. The equipments are new. Doctor Liu is very nice and very patient to explain the questions that I am concerned. Give me sereral treatments to choice and give me the suggestons that I can make good decision. I did PERIODONTAL SCALING AND ROOT PLANING, RESIN-BASED COMPOSITE and REMOVAL OF IMPACTED TOOTH. After I was done, I stay there for a rest. After half an hour, Doctor Liu saw I was still there and did not go to CVS for the medicine. Doctor Liu thought the anesthetic would be gone soon， he gave me some medicines and a cup of water, even though the water machine is nearby me. His careful behavior impressed me. They are thorough with regular cleanings, affordable + transparent with dental procedures, and friendly + efficient with scheduling. I had two implants done here and I was able to eat my normal diet within a day! I literally couldn't believe it. All this for HALF the price of my previous dentist back in Oakland.
