So much to write I don't even know where to begin! I would like to start off by saying that this dental office is by far the best we have ever been too. The waiting room is very entertaining for kids, and very tranquile and quiet for adults. My family and I always feel very welcomed and are always greeted by their wonder full staff. We have had many bad experiences especially with our daughter. But I am happy to say since we have been coming to see Dr. Larson we could not be happier. Especially my 4 year old daughter after having gone threw a very bad experience when she was 3 at the dentist. This dental office makes you feel like home, they are so caring, sweet, and friendly and most of all make you feel very comfortable. They have so much patience with kids there whole office is very friendly and you never get a grinch or a frown. Everyone always smiles at you, and always make sure you are ok and are comfortable. I big plus for kids or adults they have TV's up mounted on the ceiling along with headphones so you can entertain while you are getting your dental work done. My 4 year old had her 6 month checkup today and was so excited of going! I always see kids crying or yelling that they do not want to go to the dentist. If you are one of those parents I really recommend you taking your kids here I guarantee it will change their way of seeing the dentist office. In the last week, I had two office visits with Dr. Hedrick. My tooth was in bad shape. Last Tuesday, I spent over an hour in the dentist chair; doctor started a root canal and he had to clean out my tooth. Yesterday, he finished the root canal and filled my tooth. This process took over an hour and 20 minutes. Dr. Hedrick, at all times, made sure I was comfortable and he told me what he was doing. It was a very interesting and positive experience. After each visit, doctor explained how I was going to feel and prescribed some meds for me. He answered all questions I had and said if I had any more questions or problems, to call him. I did today and he responded. He has an outstanding staff, his front office staff, Mercie is amazing and such a thorough employee... she has a great personality and always greets with a smile. My Hygenist at Dr. Hedrick's office, Kathy, is the best ever Hygenist on this planet! Nobody cleans my teeth like her. She knows I have a very sensitive mouth and she is gentle with the procedure when she cleans my teeth. Dr. Hedrick's assistant Sandra, is out on medical leave because of a shoulder surgery. She is a very awesome assistant. Dr. had a new assistant helping him the last two weeks that I was there and she did a very good job too! I was looking for a dentist that uses ozonated water during cleaning. Smile with Style was the only one that I could find. It's a much safer way to clean teeth. I wasn't expecting the luxurious accommodations I found there. In 76 years, I've never had such a pampered experience at a dentist's office! The Craftsman style building and decor is so inviting. Every room has huge picture windows with lush, secluded forest views to enjoy. "Peaceful" is the word that comes to mind. You can watch TV or a movie of your choice during procedures. Every attention is given to insure your comfort, including a little throw-blanket if you get cold. It goes without saying that the staff treats you like a VIP. Best dental experience!! I was referred to Dr. Larson a few years ago, was having difficulties finding a good dentist I could trust. He is absolutely the best. The entire staff is professional and friendly and best of all they are honest!! It's so difficult to find a great dental office and honest caring staff that is not trying to sell you on things you don't need or worse and say you need services that you don't. My entire family now goes there and any time I have an opportunity to refer him I do. Do you get excited to go to the dentist? Because I actually do! And no, I most definitely do NOT have perfect teeth. Quite the contrary. But after years of disastrous/mediocre other dentists, Dr. Kirk, Sarah, and the rest of the team at Smile With Style have shown me how AMAZING a Dental office truly can be. Every single person from Debbie, Bea and May with their sunshine at the front desk, to Jackie and Janice assisting with equal parts loving care and fun sense of humor, to hands down the BEST HYGIENIST EVER Sarah, who has become one of my favorite people - incredible at her job, and a joy to be around. Then there's Dr. Kirk himself. Trust me when I say that there is a HUGE difference in how Dr. Kirk treats his patients. Yes, he is kind, patient and caring, but he is also FIRST RATE at what he does. He believes in preventative care - meaning, he would rather fix the problem the first time using quality care and products and does everything he can so that you DON'T need to come see him again soon. Most dentists I have gone to slap an easy fix on it and I would be back needing to fix the same teeth/issues. Not with Dr. Kirk. And you're treated like you're at the spa: heated blanket, tv and movies to watch, a warm washcloth at the end... lots of special details. Honestly, I am not rolling in the dough, but I gladly pay out of pocket to go to his office. I've been to many other dentists. And I will never look elsewhere again. I have been going to Dr. Larson's office for almost 40 years. Dr. Kirk's father was my original dentist. I have seen this practice develop over the years and Dr. Kirk keeps up with the latest technologies in dentistry to make the experience as pleasant as possible. They are very into preventative care and doing all they can to save your teeth. I've heard stories from friends and their dentists where they get root canals/caps/replacements all the time. Dr. Kirk seems to do his best to avoid those things and only do them when absolutely necessary. The front office staff is great and very friendly. And not only do they have coffee and cookies but also a classic video game machine and a nice little play area for the kids. And speaking of office...this place looks like it came out of a modern design magazine. All the wood work, lighting and mood lighting is very relaxing...and that's a good state to be in while visiting the dentist! As a person who has not been too big a fan of the dentist over the course of their life, going back was not something I was looking forward to. I had dealt with a few ho-hum dentistries the last few years and was not at all happy with them. Be it the poor quality work done, the lack of comfort, or tricking me into paying for things I didn't know about, I was pretty done with dentists. Well life happens, and my teeth inevitably decayed, and I was really at the point where I HAD to go. My friend mentioned Dr Larson's office to me, saying that Kirk and his staff were very nice and went an extra mile to ensure their clients satisfaction and comfort. I must say, I agree. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and waited only a few minutes to have my checkup. I knew I would likely need two root canals, as my back teeth had broken apart, and I was right. I had only heard terrible things about root canals, and will admit that I was worried to have them done. Even though I was quite numb the rest of the day, the root canals were relatively painless. I was slightly sore that night, but nothing else followed. My teeth were in TERRIBLE shape. Dr Larson and his assistants always made sure that I was not feeling anything, and that I was comfortable. I have had A LOT of trouble getting numb in the past, and every time I have had work done so far at this dentistry I have been pain free. One nice feature they have is a movie and headphones system for clients having work done. For anyone that thinks getting a filling is terrible, well I can tell you that you will hardly notice it because you will be watching Tombstone, or another of their 100+ movies on stock, along with satellite tv. Overall, this place has changed my opinion of dentists. Kirk has always been super friendly and upfront about my teeth. He really cares about my long term dental health, and treats me like family. He and his staff have always made sure I get numb, even when it has been tricky. (Kirk let me know I have oddly placed nerves, which probably is why I have trouble getting numb. He also charted them out so he and other future dentists would be able to find them) The dental industry isn't a charity, and I know that. The only possible draw back is the price, but I fully understand where the money is going. Then again, I haven't been in a few years so it might be the norm. For anyone that does not like going to the dentist, I fully suggest Kirk Larson's dentistry Smile with Style. I went to Smile With Style last year after I yelped for a new dentist. Dr. Larson and the staff were super friendly and professional. Beautiful office decor and very cool high tech equipment. My only issue was the insurance part. When I called to make my appointment, I asked if they accepted my insurance (Delta Dental) and they told me yes. However, I got a bill for $50 in the mail a few weeks later. My insurance covers two cleanings a year with no copay. So I called my insurance as to why I am getting a bill from Dr. Larson's office and the insurance told me that Dr. Larson is a Delta Dental PREMIER dentist meaning that I'll have expenses out of pocket. I'm upset that the receptionist did not make me aware of this office being a PERMIER office. I've found another dentist since. Oh well, lesson learned... read more

When I first came to him, I had a mouth full of very old silver fillings and little by little he replaced them with the inlays. If I can give this office 100 stars I would!!! Wow, so when I first sat down in the chair, Merja (one of the sweetest ladies there) gave me a "Menu" so I can pick a dvd from their large movie ollection or I can pick one of the many cable channels they have. I chose of course, the timeless classic "Goodfellas". Watching Deniro, Liota, and Pesci wack someone while getting my cavities filled is not something you hear together in the same sentence, ,lol. So I watched it on a ceiling tv while being wrapped in a warm blanket while they were working on my cavities. I knew I was in for at least a 2 hour appt. So good thing I picked that movie since it's 2 hrs and 25 min. As Dr. Larson was working on my cavities, he sees one of Liotta's violent scenes and says, "Now that's not a very nice man!" And I go, "Ya, this movie can be a little violent." And he replies back cheerfully, "Oh I don't mind violence! I'm a dentist!" LOL He's so funny. I felt no pain and I actually was so relaxed, I was dosing off! I got out of the chair at about 2 hours and 45 min. Imagine my surprise when at checkout time, they gave me 2 movie Regal tickets and a Starbucks gift card for being a good patient and because the appt took a little longer than expected!! Merja, May, Cheryl, and Dr. Larson are the sweetest people and I'm always glad that they are always part of my dentail visits when I go back. I just visited Dr. Larson again and was impressed (again) to learn that for a year he's been researching a machine (which he then purchased), that actually reduces the number of patients that will need to see him in the future. Tthe gizmo makes Ozonated ice. The ice is used to kill every bit of bacteria before any cavity is sealed. Without this ice, some bacteria always remains and as a result, every cavity eventually becomes a root canal at some point in your life, later. This is what makes Dr. Larson stand out when compared to any other dentist you'll visit. THIS is the kind of dentist worth seeking out. I would fly from another state to see this guy. read more

When I moved to Fullerton from the Bay Area I asked my daughter for a recommendation for a new dentist. At the time she belonged to the local Mom's club in the area, so she got on the phone and did an informal survey by calling a number of members. Dr. Kirk really is the best dentist I have ever been to. The hygienists are just as warm and welcoming as Dr. Kirk himself. I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist, every time I see Dr. Kirk my anxiety levels go down. Some of my favorite things about this office are: everyone is very informative - they take the time to explain something before they do it, Dr. Kirk really cares about the entire experience from the moment you walk in and see the complimentary beverages & treats, to the hot lotion treatment & tv during your visit, and the lovely lip balms on your way out. Your mind is almost tricked into thinking you're going to the spa and not the dentist :) This place is seriously Full Service! I had some fillings done and it was the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. I was very, very, very nervous and Dr. Kirk let me use "laughing gas" to help me relax. He sincerely wants you to have the best experience possible so you will continue taking care of your mouth & teeth. For anyone who has extreme anxiety related to dental visits, you know how valuable it is to go to a dentist who really cares about the WHOLE experience, and knows that getting you there is the most important thing. I don't know what he does, but my mouth wasn't sore after my fillings. I was only very slightly sore after the numbing wore off, and it was nothing a little Advil couldn't take care of. There was no discomfort the next day. He also has this thing on the syringe he uses to administer the numbing shot, it's a little device that make the needle vibrate (very lightly) which means that you don't feel the needle going in AT ALL. It's amazing. Every doctor should have one of those! I can't say enough about everyone at Smile with Style. They're all so friendly and caring. If I ever moved I would travel to still be able see Dr. Kirk. He's worth it, and really - so am I! Everyone deserves this kind of dental experience. This review is long long overdue. I've been seeing Dr. Kirk Larson since middle-school which now means over 20 years. Half-way through those two decades I relocated and planted myself in the Bay Area. After receiving an egregiously expensive estimate of dental work from a dentist there, I decided I would take a trip down to see Dr. Larson for a second opinion as I've always felt a deep sense of trust in his work and his word. His assessment? Almost all the other dentist's claims were exaggerated or outright bogus. So after a several-year-long hiatus of receiving dental care elsewhere, I now happily take the 8 hour bus ride back home twice a year to see Dr. Larson. I've never been led astray and any work that I've had done with him has stood the test of time. I can't speak highly enough of his expertise, his professional ethics and the quality and comfort of the facilities and equipment not to mention the equally great and professional dental assistants and front office staff. His focus on prevention and avoiding invasive procedures whenever possible is something that I take great comfort in, knowing everything possible is being done before something more serious might become necessary. We all hopefully value our oral health equally to that of the rest of our physical and mental well-being knowing they are interconnected and I trust the team and care of this office enough to make a long journey to maintain that health. I found them on Yelp in January, and based upon the glowing recommendations found on the site, I went in for my first dentist appointment since -- well, let's just say that the last time I went to the dentist, I was still watching season 1 of Arrested Development and it wasn't on DVD... I recently moved to Orange County and needed to find a new dentist. I had no problem getting an appointment as a new patient, I only had to wait about a week and a half to be seen. The reviews on yelp definitely don't lie. I had a great experience at Smile With Style. My hygienist was Sarah, and she was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She gave me a tour of the office before we sat down and talked to me like she'd known me for years. She did my x-rays in the same room as my teeth cleaning which was nice (I'm used to moving rooms several times). They have TVs on the ceilings (and optional headphones) so you can watch a TV or a movie while you get your teeth cleaned. They also had hand warmers that made my hands feel so soft when I left. Dr. Larson came in and was just as nice as Sarah was. They each seemed to truly care about my teeth and seemed to love what they do. I have scheduled my next appointment and will definitely be back.
