The dental hygienist made me feel at ease and I didn't have any anxiety/stress during my visit. Dr. Arthurs was awesome! Listen the last dentist I visited literally bombarded me with a list of things I "needed" to get done. I mean it was a ridiculous expensive laundry list of things. Nope not this place, sure I need some things done and Dr. Arthurs explained why I needed the things done and why it needed to be done to keep my healthy. Donna then came in and didn't traumatize me with the price. It was all broken down perfectly and it's not going to cost an arm or a leg. Let's be honest teeth are just or more important than the rest of you so even if you have to pay a little to stay healthy then do it. The dentist at Smile Today Dental office, Peoria, Az location had 4 crowns made for my front teeth with a greater over-bite than my original teeth. Dentist states he went for appearance that's why greater over-bite. In my opinion, forgot about patient comfort as these 4 crowns cut into my lower my gum and makes my lip swells. The Dentist tried to correct this by "shaving" these four front crowns but these crowns still constantly make lip swell and cut into lower gums causing blisters which hurts all the time. Wish I was informed that these 4 front crowns were being made with a greater over-bite than original teeth as i would never had this done nor spent over $7,500.00 in 2 months at this dental office. As of Nov 27. 2018 these four front crowns still cause physical pain. Gave 2 stars as other dental work not above which was done at this dental office was fine. If there was an area to give 2 ratings I would give front office staff 5 stars as they are very customer friendly

East Valley Dental Care has a small reception area where they offer free water while you wait. There are only a few rooms for patient visits so it feels like a more personal experience. All pun intended it is left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't feel great about committing to a place that can't spare an extra 15 minutes for a patient.

The front desk also applied a $50 referral credit to my balance and gave me a $50 gift card. Then I get a bill because they messed up and it should have only been one or the other. As a business you should bite the bullet and make sure the mistake doesn't happen again instead of going after patient to pay back. Desirae was no help and offered no solutions other than paying back because of their mistake Dr. Scott Lee should be aware of how the office is treating patients. I went in for a minor repair to a small chip on my front tooth, something I had successfully maintained for over 15 years. I clearly requested an A1 shade, which had always matched my teeth. Despite this, the dentist chose to use "universal" composite, a material not intended for front teeth. The result was one yellow front tooth next to a white one. Even the dental assistant questioned the choice of material, yet it was still used. Afterward, the filling was filed down in a way that created a visible gap in the center of my smile, which I never had prior to this visit. Instead of acknowledging or correcting the issue, I was told I "needed veneers anyway," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Due to the financial burden of correcting someone else's mistake, I was unable to have this fixed right away. This significantly impacted my confidence and mental well-being for nearly a year. When I finally saw another dentist, I was informed that an excessive amount of universal composite had been used, causing my entire tooth to appear yellow and requiring extensive drilling to correct. I ultimately had to pay out of pocket to repair damage that should never have occurred. This experience reflects a lack of transparency, poor clinical judgment, and disregard for the cosmetic and emotional impact on patients. I am sharing this so others are aware and because patients should not be left financially responsible for correcting preventable errors.
