    Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap

If you want high quality service, fast, cheap, and delicious food this is the place to go! I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was so good, the chicken was cooked fresh and it had a crunch that made it so enjoyable to eat. The Greek salad is simple but taste fresh. My friend got the steak sub and it taste better than most restaurants, meat had lots of flavor. The owner of the restaurant is a friendly nice man. Restaurant is very clean and food comes out fast.

Rating: ***** An experience I'd always remember **** I am coming back *** I'd be willing to come back ** Wouldn't recommend anyone * Disastrous experience/restaurant **** My new staple brunch spot in Burke Review: Smith and Clarksons is a staple brunch spot in Burke, known for their sandwiches and chicken tenders along with house Korean-style fried chicken sandwiches. Hungry one afternoon with some time for lunch, I sought out looking for cheap eats in Burke. Strolling around in Burke town center, I walked into Smith's as I saw a decent amount of people eating and was curious as I don't regularly go to brunch spots. Thinking I had to try the chicken they were known for, I settled on a chicken tender wrap. Taking my first bites, I was greeted with a lightly breaded chicken with a balanced amount of sauce, just enough to taste it but not enough to take attention from the well-seasoned chicken in the wrap. Typically my favorite part of fried chicken is the texture but surprisingly I'm still very happy with this as the breading seemed intentional and overall it was well executed. On my next visit, I was running low on time but still wanted to try more of the menu so I put in an early pickup order of the turkey club sandwich. As I hadn't seen the pictures, the portion was a big surprise as I opened the box. Nicely cut sandwiches sat with a good quarter of turkey along with thin slices of tomatoes, textured bacon, and lettuce. Compliments to the person who makes the sandwiches at Smith and Clarkson although the sandwich is pretty big, the way they cleanly put it together and portioned it meant you never had parts of it falling out as you ate. Simply put, a basic but very well-made sandwich. Smith and Clarksons is a staple stop in Burke and has just become mine too, with their well-made food at reasonable prices (Chicken Wrap 9.89 & Turkey Club 11.99). I excitedly am waiting to return to try the Korean fried chicken next.

Another early morning ride-sharing with the Hubby. And what do I do when I get to work early? I want to eat. Arrived right as they were opening at 7:30. The Owner, Alan, greeted me warmly and I ordered a number 3 which consisted of bacon, scrambled eggs, home fries and wheat toast(Yep. I am allowing carbs today as I plan to share with my coworker). The food came out quickly and was well-seasoned. I will definitely partake of this establishment again as they are close to my job.

I have both dined in and carried out, for lunch and breakfast respectfully, and have been happy with the overall experiences. Breakfast has a variety of options and even a regular old breakfast sandwich (Egg over hard, ham (bacon or sausage available), and cheese on a toasted & buttered English muffin) really hit the spot! The lunch menu has a wide variety of both hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a few specialty Asian dishes. Typically there is a sandwich special and a plate special-both always sound delicious! Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. The only thing that is important to note is your food may take awhile because it seems they have consistent staffing issues. Since this is a busy plaza plus it shares a parking lot with Walmart, expect to park further away from the building. I can't wait to return to try the Chicken & Waffles!

It's not a bad place for breakfast or brunch. Once you get in you order then find a seat. Food is brought out to you. Everything tasted good, nothing stands out but I liked the waffle. They top off your coffee just need to ask,

First time in the cafe today. I order the 4 piece chicken tenders. Let me tell you the size of each of the chicken tenders was great. Each chicken tender was not too crispy on the edges. Instead, each chicken tender was lightly breaded and full/generous piece of chicken underneath. These chicken tenders actually top ranked. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience with the cafe. J would go back and am already planning another chicken tender order next week.

Mom and dad merged with the kids to create this quick stop of a cafe. I wouldn't call it a deli, as the outside signage states. It's simple, it's fast, it's tasty! There is a blown up sign by the door as you walk in, direct to the counter. You order your food and pay at the counter, then someone hands you a numbered signage for your table. I had enough time to prepare my coffee and have a chat before my food arrived. That was the easy part. Choosing what to eat... it takes skill. The pancakes, waffles, and French toast have a lovely buttery, melt in your mouth quality, with a hint of cinnamon. The butter on top is whipped and begs for you to spread it around. No cheap cheesy cheese, no American, but stringy, gooey cheese in these omelettes. Drinks are standard, the staff is fresh, this is a nice spot for breakfast and lunch. I have more to try!

This is the quintessential Mom & Pop diner. It's a couple and probably their son and another worker that make up the whole staff. The food is absolutely fantastic . The main drawback is that when the diner gets busy, the wait for your food gets a little long. The only upside to that is the food is worth the wait. I haven't had anything bad there at all. I highly recommend this diner, but if you can avoid the busy times (like weekend lunch, etc.) you'll get the fantastic food quicker. The ambiance is that of an older diner, but not in any way horrible.

Outstanding place. Especially the breakfast. Unquestionably the best home fries in Fairfax. Friendly people.

This small spot is full of personality offering col and hot sandwiches, desserts, bottled wine, beer, and soft drinks that can be enjoyed inside or outside of the deli. From my perspective the best part about this place was the guy working the counter. He offered me a glass of wine as I waited for my 3 sandwiches to be prepared, and then sold me a bottle to take home. Great local space, one star off because the refrigerated crème brûlée was frozen and the sandwiches while prepared on some great crusty bread, were not especially memorable. Great experience

However, I could not find the shop because I was looking on the other side of the street. It can be sort of hard to see if you don't already know about it. It's in the same plaza as the T-Mobile and Trek Bicycle. Upon entry, I asked if they had canolis and he said yes, how many do you want, 1 dozen, 2 dozen? I asked the price and told the gentleman I wanted 2 canolis. However, he diregarded my response and encouraged me to get 1 dozen or 2 dozen because they're made fresh. I said no, 2 canolis were fine. He kept asking me to get other things, sandwiches, wine. I declined. I left with the feeling he was being sort of pushy, rather than welcoming, which I did not like. The canolis were delicious. I purchased one regular canoli with mini-chocolate chips. And the second was a regular canoli with a shell half dipped in chocolate. So yummy!!

I got the Steak & Cheese Sub combo, which comes with fries and a drink, for $14. * Food: I ordered the Steak & Cheese Sub combo and devoured every bite. Their baklava was also great! * Cleanliness/Setting: You can tell the place is very community-oriented and family-owned, with all the different posters and flyers up. I prefer the Steak and Cheese over the Cajun Chicken though as I didn't get as much Cajun as I was hoping for. I loved how crispy the fries were and amused by the length of some - you could do battle with some of them! It's a charming place serving great value. I wouldn't mind revisiting them.
