I ordered the morning meditation juice which was a perfect mix of their fresh squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, beet juice, turmeric, ginger and agave nectar. Perfect way to start my morning in the sunlight. For my main breakfast entree I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which came with 2 HUGE pancakes the size of the plate. Even though the lemon curd appeared to be a dollop, it was enough for the whole dish since the lemon was very prominent to the point syrup was not needed. The berries were fresh and the pancakes were cooked to perfection (soft with lightly crispy edges). I also enjoyed a hot cup of table side coffee with my drink. I drink it black so I found the plain coffee to have a nice flavor and wasn't bitter at all. Now the million dollar bacon ehhhh.... I heard someone ask if they were thick, not at all. I found the honey to overpower the other seasonings so it was just basic bacon with honey in my opinion. Not worth the almost $7 price tag or the million in the name. If I am in the mood for a solidly good fresh breakfast in a nice atmosphere I'll be sure to stop by, but I wouldn't wait longer than 15 minutes for it.

Feel free to grab a seat anywhere" from someone nearby or working the bar (about 10-12 feet away from the front door) would immediately make the experience feel more intentional and welcoming. Wow! I have been dining with Smithfields a very long time at the Burlington location. I have had very mixed experiences. But I dined there two days ago and finally they got it perfect! I came into the restaurant, and was finally acknowledged warmly by a new team of people? Finally I felt appreciated by Ms. Moore who obviously held a title of authority in the restaurant. She was like a breath of fresh air. She introduced herself at the table, refilled our drinks and made sure that we were happy. We were finally excited to see a boost of energy in the building, and we know that she may be the factor in that. We saw her and her manager, Ms. Rodriguez smile and take care of each person at the register. A young man, tall kid went around in the dining room and offered us refills and even cleared our plates tableside. Again, they are finally getting it right and kudos to smithfields for turning up the heat on service, and service-mindness. I rarely take the time to write a review but my experience granted five stars. A friend and I stopped by for lunch with my 10 month old. The place was spotless and everyone was super friendly. If you've been to a Smithfields you know it's not a "full-service" dining experience, yet they waited on us, brought us our food, refilled our drinks and when my son spilled my large sweet tea, the manager rushed over to clean it up. Also, when we sat down he brought over a blue balloon to tie to my son's high chair for entertainment while we ate...a nice touch! Upon leaving we were told how much they appreciated our business.
