This store has multiple problems…read more Do NOT buy gift cards here. I bought a $100. Home Depot Gift Card and after I mailed it found out a used worthless Target Gift Card was inside. this store is also mostly self checkout and that can be frustrating. This store often does not stock sale items. Management and customer service is rarely available to solve problems. This store is not as clean as it should be and often is very cluttered. The NEW LOW is when they do have a cashier on they have an attitude. Last week we purchased 6 bottles of wine and the store (of course) was out of the wine carriers. The cashier refused to bag the wine bottles and said my husband didn't ask nice enough....(guess she wanted a tip or a blow job?) Yesterday I was so happy for a second that a cashier was on. I saw someone at a register with a lit sign so I unloaded my groceries and the belt was moving. Then the cashier just decided to leave. This Smith's Grocery must be the absolute WORST grocery store to shop at on the planet.

The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. It's a bulk/warehouse style store and a standard grocery.Huge sausage selection... some odds and ends like rope. Low gluten free selection. Decent produce. Helpful service and wide aisles. Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. Just saying, so many people dis Winco just because they can't choose from 18 kinds of olive oil or there are no lobsters swimming in the seafood section and of course, you have to use cash or debit... do people still shop with cash? This location of Albertson's often doesn't carry the sale items…read more 3 weeks in a row Albertson's didn't stock one of the sale items I came in to buy. 3 weeks back they didn't have sale potatoes. 2 weeks back they didn't have sale chicken thighs. This week they didn't have the jumbo sale cantaloupes (2 for $3.) and didn't even have a spot for them so I couldn't photo. Countless other times they didn't have sale items. They even occasionally send me a free item coupon. I remember once they sent me a free doughnut coupon and didn't have any doughnuts that day. The customer service here is much better (well at least it's normal) than their competitor Crazy Train Smiths (N.L.V. Location). This store would be much better if they carried the sale items.

What was even more shocking was what was happening behind the customer service desk. There were at least 5-6 supervisors/managers standing around laughing, gossiping about other employees, openly discussing drug use, and acting like they didn't have a single responsibility in the building. I came in for a simple exchange because a pair of pants I purchased was too small. The young associate helping me was interrupted mid-sentence by a manager who decided it was more important to talk badly about another employee right in front of customers. The entire group started laughing while customers stood there waiting for help. It was unbelievably unprofessional and honestly embarrassing to witness. One manager even loudly said, "I don't hire, I fire," as if intimidating employees was some kind of joke or badge of honor. That statement alone tells you everything you need to know about the leadership culture in this store. Instead of supporting employees and helping customers during a busy rush, management was acting immature, careless, and completely disconnected from basic professionalism. I genuinely felt bad for the associates actually trying to work while management stood around creating a toxic environment. Walmart should seriously investigate the leadership at this location because the behavior I witnessed was unacceptable for any workplace, especially one dealing directly with the public.

Sarah, was nasty, rude and reminded me of why I had stopped going into Walmart. Walmarts receipts have a tendency to fade quickly. Sarah could see the price $16.98 on my faded receipt, the dress had all tags attached and was on the Walmart hanger. Sarah refused to help me. I'm a 79 year old senior citizen, who stood in line first, she offered me $7.98 on a credit voucher, threw the dress on the counter behind her and began to wait on another customer. I asked for the Supervisor, her response was "I am the Supervisor." I asked her to give me back the dress and left the store. Most of their fresh meat and dairy is pasture raised or grass fed. Also offered is a small freezer section containing a variety of meat, vegetable, bread, and breakfast products. The bad: Their inventory is much smaller than their competitors, so selection is quite limited. I also found a fair amount of products already expired or expiring on the day of my visit. Natural Grocers is a decent "healthy corner store" if you live nearby, but not a place that warrants a special trip; however, they add a nice supplement to their organic competitors.
