I called the Auto Club as I lost the key to The Club locking devise on my steering wheel. Auto Club then contacted M & M Key Service on Fairfax, in Los Angeles, who quoted me their normal price of $250 to come out and remove it. It would cost me $100 out of pocket as AAA would pay a max of $150. I personally called M & M Key Service to confirm the price. It is what it is, they told me as they are licensed, bonded and insured. I said "no". I then called Idan at Smitty's Locksmith. They had recently changed some locks at my residence, at that time Idan came out and he did an amazing job. Smitty's cost for the same service to remove the steering wheel lock was $95. I had him installed another lock on my door because my 2yo is starting to reach the lock, and being the 2yo that he is, he's probably gonna start unlocking the door and running outside on his own because he thinks he's all grown up now.
