I was in a bind with an alternator that went out and, as with Lexus, the factory one was pretty pricey. Being honest, the lady on the phone told me they won't install anything other than OEM for something like an alternator when I told her I couldn't really afford it at that time and asked if they'd install a cheaper non-oem one. So she then did some more digging and was able to save a lot of money on an OEM she found but it wouldn't arrive until the next day and then they'd install it. I was so thankful. BUT THEN! She called a few hours later and said that the owner actually went out and found one locally and picked it up for me, it wasn't the cheaper price but they still honored the price AND my car was already done and ready to pick up! This saved me from having to arrange for a ride from and to work from Paradise the next day to pick up my car. Just outstanding customer service and great work. There's no pressure and they really really know what they're doing. I would take any car there they'd work on, not just Toyota/Lexus. My mother in law also has taken her Toyota there for over 15 years. I very highly recommend them.

My husbands truck wouldn't smog and they charged him hundreds for things most places don't charge for like different system flushing and fluid checks to trouble shoot. They returned his truck back and still couldn't get it to smog and had no idea what was wrong with it. I think he spent over a grand having it there for a week just to get it back no better then we left it. We took it to another place in town who informed us we had gotten ripped off and it didn't really look like they did anything, how embarrassing. Now we have to wait and try again when we have the extra money... until then he has a truck he can't drive, that won't smog, and is racking up fees while we wait to renew the registration.

I have contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair (the licensing agency) and since found out that Accurate Auto is a NAPA AutoCare affiliated service station. I have notified them of Accurate Auto's rather unsavory business practices, negligence, and unsettled situation with the recovery of expenses I incurred. Furthermore, negative postings are appearing on Craig's List under Chico (general community), RipOff Reports' website, and can be found under the August 7, 2010 posting at http://ejourn.net/journal It has come to my attention the business is now listed as owned by Michelle Jeffries, Rob's wife. The negative feedback I posted at their Facebook business page was removed, however, for your viewing pleasure, I have uploaded a picture here along with pictures of the belts they should have replaced and had they done so, none of this would be happening. Simple common business ethics people. Is that really so hard to get?
