Was excited to go here because I found a coupon online. Had it primed and ready. Showed up at 11:00am Saturday morning, they were closed. Time on the door says 9-2pm saturdays. Called, heard the phone ring non stop inside but no one was there. Worst part is there was no note as to why they were closed during posted business hours. So sad. read more

Smog test? Go see Nersus (aka Nick). Fast, friendly, efficient... what more could you ask for. I just moved to California and was registering my car (and getting my driver's license, etc.) at Glendale DMV so I drove down the street to Smog-Ease and handed Nersus my paperwork and he knew exactly what I needed to get done so that I could go back to the DMV and complete the registration process. He did my smog check then went over my paperwork with me to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my registration. I work nearby and called to make an appointment for a smog check. The gentleman who answered the phone said I didn't need one and could just stop in, so I did. Upon arriving, I was courteously greeted and my car was hooked up for the smog check in no time. I was in and out of there in a few minutes and even had enough time on my lunch break to actually eat. Came here for my first smog test for a hybrid car. They were extremely helpful. First time I came in one of my OBDII monitors wasn't ready which is a pain and seems to be happening frequently to a lot of people. They were very helpful and telling me what monitor wasn't ready and gave me tips on how to try and get the computer to run the monitor. What I had to do was basically drive my car on the freeway between 50-65mph on the freeway (which we all know is no small feat in Los Angeles). I specifically asked if this covered everything and on the phone they said it did. BUT when I showed up, I was charged ~$10 more for other fees. Grrrr. I've used Smog-Ease three times and each time there was nobody in front of me and they got me in and out fast (which is probably why there was no line). They just do testing but they do it well. Everything's electronic these days so they transmit your results to the DMV and you're done. read more

I went on a Saturday afternoon, Memorial Day weekend and I expected a long wait, but I was surprised at how quick the process was, it took no more than 20-25 minutes. Nerses was very friendly and accepted my $10 off coupon and went over the details of my bill once it was time to pay. There were no hidden fees or extra charges, just a quick and simple smog check. He stapled all of my paper work together and explained the DMV process and assured me that the smog check would go through within a few days.
