Went here to get a smog test done after my first one required me to have a referee validate it. The referee stated not to visit the original shop, so i went here. The lady up front refused to serve me stating she doesn't want to deal with referees. I told her numerous times that the referees already checked what they flagged and deemed my car acceptable to be retested she refused and told me to visit a different shop not telling them about my previous referee. This shop is at minimum unethical and i would not go here but if you are in a similar situation do not tell them about the referee, lets see how they like it. read more

After calling around a few places to check on their COVID protocols, this place was the best out of all of them. Another places called it "no big deal". If 1,709,243 people have died so far from the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak as of December 22, 2020, 06:43 GMT isn't a big deal, I'd gladly not go there. Ugh. Anyways, although no one was wearing masks (I'll give them a pass since no one really wears a mask all day) this place let me drive up myself, pop the hood and open the side door so they can stick a probe under the dash, and less than 10 minutes later, I passed. Drove up, no wait, super fast and convenient since they don't even need to put the car on the rolling road any more. Just plug the wireless OBD II sensor in, and voila! 10 minutes, mostly spent chatting with the nice guy about cars, and I was out of there. He even went next door and got the card of the repair shop next door that he recommends for European car service. I took my 2000 Chevy Tahoe to have it smogged. The service engine light was on and I thought it was due for an oil change They told me it was one of three things, the smog pump, the smog air flow valves, the evaporated hose to the smog pump. They told me how I could test it to figure out what was wrong with it and gave me the evaporator hose I needed to replace. I ended up replacing two smog airflow valves to which were the problem. I took my SUV back and they reset the computer for free. I had to drive it and start it a few times before returning. This morning I took it back and it passed smog. I will go to them anytime any of my 3 cars need to be smogged from here on out regardless what my DMV notice says. They are honest and very helpful. I highly recommend them. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but felt I had to for the way I was mistreated by this "business". I brought my 97 ford ranger here to have the smog test done to transfer the title. I previously had it tested somewhere else and was told it would pass if I installed a new EVAP purge valve, so I put a new one in. Other than the EVAP system everything else passed. I took it here to have it tested again because they were open on Saturday and I don't have time normally during the week otherwise I would have taken it to the other smog shop I originally went to. I wait about 10 minutes and my truck is pulled in and put into the dyno. The man runs it and performs a visual inspection. Everything seems to be going well. He puts in the results on the computer and tells me it failed. I look at the results he printed out and the emissions tests passed at both test speeds but he failed me because my HC result was at the upper limit and told me I need to have a new catalytic converter put in in order for him to pass it. What a scam, I will never be coming back to this smog test station and I'll be sure to make sure nobody I know does either. Another thing is that most shops offer a free retest if you fail the first one, this shop charges an addition $26 if you need a retest. The initial test is $52 dollars so it's not any cheaper than any other smog check shops around. Beware of this place if you have an older vehicle, take it somewhere that won't try to rip you off. I'm going to take my vehicle to another shop and pay full price again just to avoid dealing with the scammer that runs this place. read more
