I know it's stressful for people to find the right place with the right prices, but I promise this place gives fair quotes and is very ethical all around. Check in for $10 off of any synthetic oil change! I recommend calling before going in person for a quote or advice. I have been here three times and the first two times, Andy and the other front desk guy gave me good advice on what to do with my car. They also patched up my flat tire for free one of the times. On my most recent visit, I brought in my car because of squeaky and rattling brakes. Andy went ahead and gave me a price breakdown of new brake pads and rotors. He gave me the option of buying the parts from O'Reilly auto parts right next to them for a cheaper option. I opted for that, and Andy bought and installed them before I came in. He explained everything thoroughly and was able to answer all my questions. I felt comfortable walking in the shop and left knowing I made the right decision today to go with Allen. I would have been very satisfied with a plug in the tire, but Thomas said the right way to fix it was to dismount and patch it. That is exactly what he did. Bad Service. Bought 3 sets of tires and paid for the extra road hazard coverage and they don't want to patch the tires when I have nails or screws. Been struggling for the past 2 years to get help from them when I need it. I will not be using them again. They claimed I needed other work done and delayed a quick patch for 90 minutes...Then told me my radiator was installed wrong and that I needed my coolant replaced that was 2 weeks old? Asked to have the manager call me and they just ignored me. Called again to speak to manager and was told I could not get his number, but they would have him reach out to me. Still no call after 2 weeks. Use them at your own risk. Don't buy the Road Hazard because they will give you a hard time if you need a patch. They have lost my business and I will share my BAD experience with as many that will listen. They are just trying to sell things that are not broke. I asked for a tire quote and they quoted a tire that will not work on my vehicle. The manager that was there does not know what he is doing. He was on his phone almost the whole time not working and then complaining about his boss...Thats the guy who didn't call me back...What a mess this place is. read more

Con artists these guys. I booked an appointment on the website for this location and specified the exact tires I needed. I show up, and they have no idea which tires I need. No big deal, but then they quote me a price that is $70 more than what they quoted me online. The guy shows me his screen and says each tire is $122.99 so the total for 2 tires is $256. I say, buddy, 122.99 twice is 246, not 256. He just shrugs. Online they quoted me $30 labor for each tire. He wants to charge me $41 labor for each tire. Everything was off. I am not blaming the employees by any means, I'm sure they're doing the best they can. But what company staffs their store with two working technicians on a friday? We made an appointment for 11 am for a tire rotation and oil change. We then proceeded to wait 4.5 hours (i'm currently writing this and my car is still on the rack) So maybe almost 5 hours by the time it's done. Also due to the city's hostile architecture, there's no benches, just me and the curb...waiting...and waiting. The service before was about 5-6 months ago, oil change and brake pad service. Also waited 5 hours, so just uber'd back home to chill until my car was done, figured they were having issues with my brake pads. (i drive the most generic honda possible) They called to say service was done, picked up my car. Few days later my car started squeaking any time I went to brake. Turns out they put the wrong size brake pad in my car. They took it in and fixed it. no harm, mistakes happen. Services prior to that have been great! Recognized the staff, had a familiar faces and names with the shop and they were a no frills, trustworthy shop. What every person wants with the auto shop for their car. So what changed? This was my go to shop for 4 years since i've moved to the area. There's been a sharp decline in service over the last 2 years since they were bought out by a parent company who is struggling to keep their head above water. Monroe Inc has had its stock value plummet since 2021 and is worth half as of today. all while gobbling up smaller chains across the state. I did all this research on them waiting for my said oil change. At this point my issue is with corporate/management. Clearly the brand is sinking, they aren't willing to staff appropriately or willing to pay technicians what their worth so here's where we are. It's been nice while it lasted but at least i have a great new case study on the failure of corporate mergers/takeovers for my business analysis class. tldr: don't come here unless you enjoy spending your leaisure time inside of a tire shop staring at a stressed out technician whose getting paid the same wage of a mcdonald's fast food employee trying to keep their head above water while you wait for an oil change. I had a flat tire and decided to take my car in since they had such great reviews. I recommend calling ahead of time just to gauge how long the wait would be. Dropped the car off and about 2 hours later, Andy called and texted me a pic of my tire. He said he could try to patch it but to be safe, I could just get new tires. He quickly ran through the options and gave me some time to think it over. About 45 mins later, he called and said it was done. Super easy and quick! The only thing I was disappointed about was that they didn't rotate my tires. I thought it was given since the 2 new tires were placed in the back and my Toyota Corolla is front wheel drive. Pretty unsatisfied with their online inquries. Submitted my tire type, brand of tire I wanted and appointment time on their website. Little did I know I'd get a call at 7am the next day waking me up. As irritating as that was, they told me "their website is new" so didn't actually record any of the information I entered, so I had to try giving them the information all over again on the phone. I had a hole in my rear driver tire and knew it would take a small patch to fix up due to the slow decompression time it was taking my tire to lose pressure. Nonetheless, took my car to Andy & the Allen tire team. Was quoted a fair price of $25 which I agreed to. 2 hours later, Andy called me to let me know the job was complete. Once I arrived, Andy mentioned that they took care of the puncture and they waived the cost! I couldn't believe it. I still offered to pay but Andy mentioned that recommendations and to keep them in mind for any upcoming tire and alignment needs. Andy has earned my business for all upcoming tire needs. Refused to help because he didn't want to stay past the 5pm mark even to help a mom with her kids with a nail in her tire. Luckily we had AAA and they came to help. So I arrived about 815 in the morning at the Fullerton location because I know as the day goes on they get busier. I go in and let the worker know I have a nail in my tire and that I need to have my breaks done. He Siad it was gonna be like 5 hours before he got to my car that this was strickly a drop off location, I was slightly 1disappointed but I was okay with wait so I said okay. I asked him about how much it was gonna cost and he began to say how much to purchase breaks, I stopped him and said I already have the breaks, he told me they don't put on equipment from the customer. I definitely hate going to any auto repair shop or dealership because they alway try to sucker you in to spending more money. These guys were up front about their prices even before they took a look at my tire, while others will give you indefinite amount then later hit you with an unexpected large amount. Less than 30 mins and the tires were fixed! They immediately informed me and said I was free to go. Got the tires I wanted and all seems okay with that part. The customer service is horrible. The "manager" vaping next to me while I waited, not cool, the service tech moving my car with greasy gloves left on from the brake job he was doing, not cool either. You spend $1,000 there on tires and they seem they could care less. Don't bring your kids with you, a lot of cussing going on in the shop. Your new tires will be delivered to you filthy and the chrome rims that were clean when you arrived will be filthy when they're done also. Sad to say but now it's just a really unprofessional place. Disappointed. I went to Allen Tire at 9:30am for a slow leak (possible nail) in one tire. He stated they were a little busy and to come back in two hours. I told him I pick up my toddler from school about that time and can come by right after to get it checked out. He said that would work. So I pick up my daughter and went right over. I show up and he says we can wait in the lobby while he works on a few more cars before ours. I had my toddler with me and was unable to wait an undefined amount of time for him to even just look at my tire. He didn't apologize or even look remotely concerned that he wasn't able to help me even though he told me to come back. He sent me on my way with a low tire with a toddler to "find somewhere else".
