Have dinner on picnic tables on a boat! Best BBQ I've had in a long time! We had the brisket burnt ends with smoky/spicy/cheesy corn on the cob and mac salad-each bite was better than the last. I am in town from Kansas City and I have lived there for 34 years. I have had the best BBQ on earth and the fact that I can get a taste of home here in paradise is incredible. This place is amazing. The food here is absolutely delicious and the service is great. I got the pulled pork sandwich and a side of the baked beans and I can honestly say the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had. The pulled pork didn't even need bbq sauce, it was that good. My husband got the brisket with a side of the macaroni salad and corn, and he thought everything was excellent. They have a couple sauces to choose from, which are all delicious. It's right there on Charter Boat Row on Palm Ave. They also deliver (which is awesome), and we are very much looking forward to eating there again soon! read more

Make sure you eat on top... the view of the harbor from the roof is awesome. Almost as good as the food!! Wow... super good BBQ. Value is good for the amount of delicious BBQ placed on your plate. Awesome food in a great location. We were worried when we drove past that there was no parking but there is right next door. The food was great - brisket was great. The beans were also brilliant. If you're looking for a good bbq in Key West this is definitely a place worth checking out. It's setup on a house boat making it a unique spot. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and excited to offer you what they have. Started off with the smoked fish dip which I recommend trying. Nice selection of sauces to please a range of taste preferences. One of the most unique being blueberry jalapeño which worked nicely with the brisket. Ribs are tender bite off the bone and I thought tasted good with a touch of Kansas City sauce or the Georgia sauce. Brisket was sliced thin and pulled pork sandwich was piled high. I tried the Mac and cheese, baked beans, and fries enjoying everything. Finally I washed it all down with a cold Yuengling lager. Better get there before September though because they plan to do a bbq tour for the fall. I look forward to returning and trying some of their other items. read more

If I didn't find this place on here I would have never known it was there! Glad we went. Service was great and you can truly feel the hospitality. Our meals were great- tried all BBQ sauces on the table and didn't have one I didn't like. It location is so different and great views of the harbor. This is a really neat place! There's outdoor seating on the roof/boat deck and some indoor seating as well. I stopped by here with my husband and dog. We ordered a brisket platter and a pulled chicken platter. Somehow, our order got entered incorrectly so we waited for a while for our food while the incorrect order was unclaimed. The owner (I believe he was the owner) was very apologetic. He put in our order again, reimbursed us (we just tipped him that amount in return), AND gave us free drinks. You can't beat that kind of service! The food was great as well. I loved the BBQ sauces. read more

Looking for a break from seafood, my wife and I stopped into Smoked BBQ for lunch...and it was phenomenal! The atmosphere can't be beat--a dockside barge in the Garrison Bight Marina with views of Tarpon feeding on scraps from the fleet of charter fishing boats docked alongside. We ordered pulled pork, brisket, smoked sausage, corn, collard greens and cucumber salad. It was all down-home southern traditional and mouth-wateringly delicious! While eating, we struck up a conversation with Mick, one of the owners. He was friendly and excited about his restaurant--for good reason! When we began speaking about our favorite style ribs, Mick disappeared into the back and returned with a plate of ribs on the house--and they lived up to the best I have eaten in Alabama and Memphis! We know nothing about Key West but we do know good (in this cast, outstanding) barbeque. This place has it. I had the smoked sausage plaster and hubby had burnt ends. They were both outstanding! Finally stopped in after smelling this place for months every time we launch a boat. Had a half rack and their brisket which was really good. The slaw and beans were nicely done as well. The slaw is sweet and creamy. Nice portions, fair prices and the service is very friendly as others have mentioned. They have a good selection of sauces along with a vinegar style mop sauce which is always a nice accent on pork. Will definitely be coming back! read more

We had lunch here today. Half rack of pork ribs and sliced brisket with mac and cheese and slaw. The ribs and brisket were nicely smoked, no overwhelming smoke flavor...almost sweet. Both were tender...no thick "crust" just a layer of flavor. Great slaw...I am picky about slaw and ate every bit of this the same for the mac and cheese. I would like to see some browning/caramelization on the mac...it was a bit anemic looking, but still delicious. The people were engaging and proud of their work. read more

WOW! Fantastic experience all around! We were the first customers of the day and were able to chat with the owners and the BBQ Master. We had the brisket and pulled pork which was so tender and smoked just the right amount. We also the smoked corn on the cob which was unique and very tasty. Looking for BBQ in Key West? This is the place!!! I had the Loaded Smoke House with brisket and it was HUGE! I think next time I will get it with pulled pork, but either way you can't go wrong. It was delicious! My kids and husband had the pulled pork platters and brisket with beans and slaw. It ended up all of us sharing because everything was so good. We all really liked the slaw and beans. I can't wait to go back so I can try more of this deliciousness. I'm from near Memphis and my husband is from SC so we love our BBQ. We happy to have found a place down in Key West that lives up to our expectations. read more

Worst place ever ! Went there tonight with my boyfriend expecting good food for the night. Went in and first seen a woman who didn't explain where to go to order your food first, then wasn't quick to help us what so ever. Surprisingly such unfriendly service! Then prices are too expensive for the amount you pay for as well. My boyfriend ordered the smoked sausage sandwich and I got a pulled pork sandwich. Buns were not even toasted, also the $13 dollar sandwich had a tiny sausage inside that was rubbery and not tasteful! Also couldn't find the waitress anywhere when we wanted to exchange back our food. also we got beans on the side that tasted like they were start from the can to the bowl. Atmosphere is very awkward with no music and sticky place mats. Had to go straight from here to Miami subs to get an actual good meal!! I'm the type of person to see the positive side of things but this place truly has none. As being apart of a 7th generation conch family, I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more
