Came in to check out the selection of pens and found that everything was easily 10-25% more expensive than the shops in Hayward and the rest of the east bay. Not to mention the selection is not very broad. Marco was nice but did not seem to offer any discounts or deals and was not eager to make any price matching guarantees. Idk if the guy assisting me was the shop owner or just employee but he's knowledgable with the products. I saw this place as my husband were driving to Safeway to buy groceries, so we decided we would stop inside afterwards. We had such a great experience buying our first vapor pen, and continue to buy our supplies and such there. We have even referred our friends and family to Vapor & Stogies. Marco has helped us each time we have come in. He is super friendly, knowledgable and makes sure you know what youre getting and how to use it before you leave. We even got to sample the vapor pen liquid flavors before we bought them. The prices are awesome compared to other big Vape stores in surrounding cities. And the flavors are great too. I came there trying to drop a bad habit and they found me a vapor device to suit my needs and the right mg of nicotine to start on. My wife likes the sweet flavors and I was looking for an alternate to cigars. We both found flavors that suited our needs. I purchased a vape pen with attachments from this place a little over 2 weeks ago. The pen only lasted a lil over a week. No big deal right, I could just exchange it, right? Wrong!!! Let me say customer service IS NOT a priority here. The worker refused to replace the pen, told me there weren't any exchanges or refunds for tobacco products. That federal law prohibits it. Well first off there were no signs displaying that federal law he was referring to, nor were there any signs displaying a refund or return policy. The worker refused to assist me, told me to return when the owner was there. When I asked him to contact the owner, he replied with a chuckle that he wouldn't "disturb" the owner on his off day for a disgruntled customer. (REALLY??) I continuously demanded a refund or exchange, he proceeded to threaten me with calling the police if I didnt leave the store. I didn't leave, still insisting he give me a refund or store credit. Low and behold he started with the name calling. I was a drug addict, a stupid black bitch that needed to read up on the laws, and everything under the sun he could think of to degrade me. When the truth of the matter is I just want to quit smoking cigarettes. It was suggested, and I was introduced to nicotine oils that may make it easier to quit smoking. This has nothing to do with drugs. And, like I told him if there was anything illegal in the store they wouldn't be in business. Long story short, your money will be best spent elsewhere, where they care about the customer service and welcome returning customers.... And where they don't sale cracker jack items that become useless shortly after purchasing. I will not be going back to this store. The $50 plus I spent on the pen with all the attachments and accessories, (with intentions of kicking off the new year trying to quit smoking), just went up in flames. read more
