Sangria - got into it before I remembered to take a pic :)
    Christina A.

I will be honest- I haven't been here since this place opened and I live 10 minutes away. Had a bad experience then and never went back, and I tend to avoid chain restaurants . That being said.. My friend suggested this for dinner in a Tuesday night. I have to say their berry berry sangria was super good. Not sure if her option (some sort of sampler for $22) looked good to me - but I got the half BBQ chicken that was on special (BOGO)- and it was really good. Took one home. Veggies were good, chicken was tender. Good potatoes and gravy. I will come back again. Waitress was super good - attentive, cheerful.

Overall good food, but Smokey overcharging folks for the SOUTHERN SAMPLER 20.00 for chips, 2 pork belly, 2 slices of bacon cut to 4 pieces and smoked sausage. The green chile "pimento" cheese dip yuck. The chicken wings fried crispy and the garlic Parmesan sauce is good. The drinks were nice and strong

How is what I received supposed to be this?

Extremely disgusted and disappointed. I ordered Crispy Buffalo Chicken sandwiches and I received soggy burnt mystery flavor sandwiche. unreal.

I'm in between 3 and 4 stars. Would give a 3.5 tbh. First time trying them with delivery. Food was pricey for the amount but good. We ordered the baskets with two meats and two sides. One basket has baked bbq, Lemon pepper wings, Caesar salad, and mashed potatoes. This plate was good! The other plate had chicken breast, fries, Mac and cheese, and shrimp. Everything on this plate was great except the breast.. it was way undercooked and tough. We didn't eat it. Overall good food. Would come back to try dine in!

    BBQ combos all over!

Highlights of this review: service was great, and trivia was fun. The food? You'll have to read the rest of the review. Restaurants of this size have only one main mission: it's to serve mass quantities of food and keep people coming. If you want to mass consume meat with unauthentic BBQ Sauce, then this place is for you. The chicken wings were under cooked, but very chewy. I don't know how that's even possible. The ribs were very fatty and gristly. There was a hint of smokiness to them, but I think that was a chemical flavor an not a result of long hours in a smoker. The entire time I was being served a nice cold beer (Fat Tire) by a server with a great personality. We sat a little longer because trivia night was engaging and our waitress was funny. Otherwise I would not have stayed.

Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!

The food here is insanely good, which was a huge relief. My Matt and I went here for our anniversary. He loves BBQ and I love Indian food, so it worked out perfectly. We arrived a tad after four on a Thursday; there was no line. We walked up to the meat carver's station with no one in front of us. The menu was clearly posted right above the carving station, but my anxiety meant I genuinely couldn't process it in the moment, even though we weren't being rushed by anything. I kept asking the carvers questions that were answered right on the board in front of me, and they kept a very friendly face and powered through with patience. I appreciate that immensely. We found a table on the enclosed patio. There were a few large picnic tables and some other smaller tables in there too. There isn't a ton of space inside, but they have a giant backyard with a bunch of seating. If it had been slightly warmer, we would've opted for the backyard. Matt had his three-meat, two-side tray with an added Texas Twinkie and a slice of their housemade milk bread. He wanted to sample as much as possible. We ended up getting four more meals out of the leftovers. They brought out my hot link foldie and shells 'n' cheese with candied jalapeños maybe seven minutes later, hot and fresh. As I took pictures, I noticed everything glowed! The colors were so vibrant and varied. It was easy to get good photos. The flavors were extraordinary. Everything was perfectly prepared. The sliced brisket and the ribs I tried from Matt's tray were the best I have ever had by far. The smoked hot link foldie I ordered was incredible. It combined my love of sausage, Indian flavors, and incredibly fresh, buttery, flaky paratha. The slaw and various housemade condiments, pickled onion, and candied jalapeños made it. I would order this a million more times. AND! It's $12. No joke. You want a pizza shop sub that's carelessly thrown together with low-quality, highly processed ingredients for at least $12...or this gorgeous foldie? I could go on and on about everything we tried and how satisfyingly perfect it all was...but try it yourself! You will not be disappointed. There is no "wrong" thing to order from the menu. We're already planning a return, and I can't wait!

The place itself is inviting as you pull up, it's basically a victorian style house converted into what is a very cool, casual, dog friendly, brewery & eatery. Note: if you like sours try the Cherry Cobbler sour it is over the top tasty! Also had the Cran Orange Ale which I could have drink a second one of easily too. Now on to the food... I am from Texas, and am a bit picky over BBQ, especially Brisket. Y'all there's nothing worse than a dry piece of smoked brisket... just sayin'. Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I ate half of it before even opening the sauces! Same to be said for the Chicken, it was tender, with the perfect little hint of smoke, legit delicious! I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.
