    Salmon. Moist. Flavorful.

Sat at bar. Service was good. Food was great. Their smoky old fashioned ($14) is excellent. Salmon was moist and flavorful. ($23) I ordered it medium. Vegetables were good. Cup of Brunswick stew was good. ($5) Not a typical Brunswick but was tomato based with chunks of smoked pork. I saw someone get a bone-in steak that looked delicious. Sandwiches looked good with large side portions. It was a Friday night and they serve food until 1AM. Prices were a little high but I enjoyed everything I ordered, so maybe it's worth it.

Decided to go to this place due to a previous selection was closed, (2:00). We thought this chain had gone out of business. Earlier years my hubby used to drive for the Darden Distribution, which carried the company he drove for-(MBM WAREHOUSE). So Happy we decidedto come here, it was not busy, and the wait wasn't long. Even though they were short staff, the server was extra polite and patient. Thankfully the place was not noisy. I ordered the 1/4 bque combo with house salad and loaded potato . The hubby ordered chicken wing combo with roasted corn with steamed broccoli . Sorry, after saying blessing I forgot to take pictures of the food, which was soooo good...

This was a catered buffet for at work today. The smelles wafted through the halls alway down to my department. Delivered and set up by smokey bones. I absolutely enjoy the creamy crunchy Cole slaw. BBQ baked beans were more on the sweet side but every bite was delicious, almost like a dessert. Pulled brisket I wene

First time at Smokey bones yay. As we walked in the restroom was right next to the door, convenient so I ran in and washed my hands. Restroom was dirty and smelled pretty bad. Not a first good impression. We were seated right away, the time we visited was in between lunch and dinner and it was fairly quiet. The dinning areas is very large and have a nice atmosphere to it. We were brought the menus and they were soooo sticky !! Ugh. I just washed my hands :( pages were sticking together, that's how bad it was. I ordered a two favorite meal, with jalapeño sausage and pulled pork. Side of potatoes wedges and a side of corn. My meal came in and right off the bat was disappointing. It just didn't look fresh. Everything was extra crispy and dry. Potato wedges were crunchy in a dry, old kinda way not in a baked delicious crunchy kinda way. The pulled pork was again, dry and crusty. The sausage was so dry it was tricky to even poke it with a fork. The sausage was also supposed to be "jalapeño" sausage but I didn't see a trace of jalapeño so I questioned with the server. Manager got involved (I didn't mean for all that to happen :-0 ) and he quickly got a new order of sausage in to replace mine. By the time the new sausage came in I was done with the meal... not finished, just didn't want any. Pre of that so we needed up taking the sausage in a to-go box. Probably won't even eat it. Overall, I would have given this place 2 stars. I feel the manager interaction and the fact that maybe we came in at an off time, in between meal could have had an effect on the quality of the food. I would give it a benefit of the doubt and leave it at 3 stars. I wouldn't come back to this place and would probably not recommend to anyone or offer a cautionary heads up based on my experience. I wanted dessert and they had some options buuuuut, this is a bbq place and the bbq was not that good so I really don't have high expectations on the dessert department.

We always choose the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake since there's ample parking available, and the service is very good. Tonight I tried a new salad, the Lemon Basil Harvest Blend, and I appreciated our server, Jackeline M for asking if I preferred the dressing on the side. Yes, please! I'm so glad she asked! This mixed greens salad has some star ingredients that caught my eye: charred artichokes, green olives, and grilled balsamic chicken. Yum. I'll be ordering this salad again. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it! But, we always save room to share a trusty bc favorite dessert: the Wimbledon (strawberries with whipped cream crepes). Although it's no longer on the menu, the Greenbrier location always whips it up for us when we ask. It's an oldie, and a goodie! We enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Baker's Crust and find that our dinner catch ups over their delicious food and dessert are always long overdue. I boxed half of my salad to take home and Jackeline was kind in bringing me extra salad dressing to go. Very thoughtful. We'll be back soon!

As soon as we arrived, it was pretty busy, per usual. No matter what day we go, it's always packed, which goes to show people truly love this place. We've tried quite a few items on the menu but I've never tried the Crunchy Fried Shrimp, so we ordered that along with the Meaty Meaty Pizza and Wings. We also grabbed some drinks as well. You can't beat $5 cocktails! I asked our server if I could make my Strawberry Margarita "spicy" and the bartender hooked me up! It had the perfect amount of spice and tasted amazing! The food was served pretty quickly and everything tasted great. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of seasoning! The pizza and wings are always amazing! Bubba's never disappoints! Between the amazing staff and the great food, this place is definitely a vibe and worth trying out!!!

My daughter really enjoyed her grilled cheese. The chicken fingers were more of the bread crumb breading compared to batter so it came off as she tried to break the chicken in half. Not sure if they were worth the price but my daughter enjoyed them. I was a little disappointed because the pictures all showed beer battered fries and they came with crinkle fries. Since it was a Wednesday evening, I figured it shouldn't be busy, but boy was I wrong lol. When we arrived, the wait was almost an hour and we contemplated leaving but thankfully, there were two, open seats at the bar, so my daughter and I decided to grab those seats and dine in. The restaurant was very colorful and vibrant and I loved all the Jamaican decor. The bar was just as packed and it took a while for someone to get us menus but after looking over the menu, we decided on the Brown Stew Chicken and the Curry Chicken. We also ordered Frozen Bob Marleys, which were very good. As we waited, we were able to hear the sounds of the band nearby and it made for a nice vibe. It took an hour for us to get our food but our server/bartender, Meka, was very sweet and apologetic. The Brown Stew Chicken was amazing! It was seasoned wonderfully and extremely flavorful. The Rice & Peas and Plantains were just as good. My daughter enjoyed her Curry Chicken as well. Neither one of us cared for the Mac & Cheese. Wednesdays are Groove on the Green, which is a free, Music Concert Series that Cutlass Grille hosts so I believe that's what caused it to be busy. Plus, we saw a few graduates out there as well having graduation dinners. Overall, I enjoyed my food but we definitely picked the wrong day to go. If I'm ever in the area, I would probably return in hopes for a better dining experience.
