There isn't a negative stars rating so I just give them a 0. I got an e-mail with the special for Monday being the 8 wings for 12.49 get 8 more free, so I ordered 16 wings expecting to get 32. When I got home there were 16 dried up burnt tiny wings along with 4 shreds of celery -(i ordered two celery's -one with each order) Can you imagine paying $26.00 for 16 inedible bird wings??????Well, upon talking to the server on the phone and getting nowhere, except something about you didn't hit the right button online to get the special. Why would they send you an order special and when you are on the order form have to look for a special button to make sure you actually get your special? Anyway, I asked for the manager - when he got to the phone the first time, he hung up, I called again and he never picked up the phone. I enjoyed my dining experience. I ordered the pick three meal with chicken tenders, smoked sausage, and pulled pork. The meal was delicious and the garlic buffalo sauce was great with the chicken tenders. For someone looking for a lighter meal, the pulled chicken salad is the way to go. The fresh avocado paired well with the bacon ranch dressing. Connor was an exceptional server and truly earned the five star rating. Famished, I arrived at Smokey Bones to eat a hearty meal. Well, you could imagine my face after seeing "Wednesday: All you can eat tacos" in the menu. If you can image that face, then you can probably imagine my face after finding out they bring the half-palm sized taco refills one at a time after the initial three. The waitress was really nice and she constantly reminded the chef to put in new orders for me, but she didn't tell me of the bait and switch when I ordered the meal. And since when does any American go to a BBQ joint not to pig out? One taco at a time is not only an insult to the customer, but the entire American way of life. Went there for dinner. The food was good, not great but good. I had a combination platter of Brisket and Pulled pork. Was not crazy about the Brisket, but the pulled pork was very good. We decided to place a pick up order after a long hot day in the sun. My husband and I both ordered the steak and spinach salad and requested bacon ranch dressing. We were told that would not be a problem by Mikayla. When we got home , not only did they place vinaigrette instead of ranch in our bag, but charged us for someone else's order that was $6 more. I called and spoke to the manager, Ron, and he did apologize and ask us if we wanted to come back and get the dressing. As we live all the way in Harris county that did not make sense. He also said there was no way they could correct the charge on my card because they had already closed out the order . He could tell I was greatly annoyed and said he would take of our order the next time we visited if we ordered the "exact same thing".While I do appreciate his attempt to make things right, I would rather them fix the overcharge on my card rather than forcing us to visit again and having to place the "exact same order". My friend and I scarfed down our ribs in probably less than 10 minutes. The ribs are smoked and absolutely delicious. We got St. Louis style which according to the bartender/server is more meaty and less tender than the Baby-back. The St. Louis was pretty tender as well though. I also got the chicken and that was beautiful to gobble up as well. I usually have bad luck with bbq chicken that is too charred and dried but this was still very succulent. It all tasted great without the bbq sauce but with it was divine. They have two different sauces. One that is more vinegary with a kick of spice and the other that is more sweet and smoky. Both are really good. It was a great 4th of July dinner away from home and since we sat at the bar, it was superfast service. The bartender, Canyon, was really cool. Oh yeah, he set out a paper bag for us. We had no idea what it was for. Apparently that was the bone bag for our ribs. Who knew? read more

I usually am a ribs person, and barbecue is one of my favorite genres of restaurant, but I wasn't very hungry this time, so I just ordered wings. They had some different varieties, so I thought "this was the time to try something different." So I ordered the smoked wings with brown sugar glaze. Not really as wet as I would have liked but a definite different taste and satisfying. Others in my party had the nutty chicken salad with grilled chicken and all pronounced it superior. On top of that we all had a coupon and a significant savings on our bills. Our server was pregnant with her first child and very friendly and we felt as if we had made a new friend by the time we left. A great family night out. In the men's room over the urinal was one of many very funny signs located around the place. We had a wonderful experience at this place! We ate at the bar and all the bartenders gave us excellent service. The food was above average. The turkey was a little dry but tasty. The corn was not great and the pulled pork is good on the nachos - not good by itself. The baked chicken is excellent! The baked beans are a little too sweet, and the sauces are ok, nothing to write home about and we've eaten elsewhere where they are, but they aren't anything to turn your backs on, either. What makes this place stand out, however, is certainly the service. The staff seemed to really be enthused about working here and that made us believe we were enjoying ourselves as well. They have great lunch specials (weekdays only.) $6.99 for some delicious pulled pork and a side. That's not bad for a sit down considering you will spend that, if not more, at Arby's. The place is kind of sticky (common with BBQ places) and the service has always been good. I think my only concern is cleanliness but having worked in the restaurant industry, I know how hard it can be to keep a place feeling "new." Wasn't bad. I've been here multiple times now. The food tends to be a hit or miss, but to guarantee that hit let the waiter/waitress know how you want your food. Overall, the waiters/waitresses are extremely courtesy and professional and Smokey Bones has become a favorite to go place for me while here in Columbus. read more

Excellent service! And the food was great too! We were in from out of town with a party of 30 on a Friday night. Despite being busy, they managed to seat our whole party together. This is a mixed post. The food was good my server was great, but other staff was off. Having dinner out is about the experience. My idea of dinner out is not sitting next to filthy tables whilst an employee on the clock I might add sitting blocking the walkway with customers and drinking alcoholic beverages. After informing management I was challenged by the employee so we informed management again who basically did nothing and it felt as if we were being questioned about our integrity. I love this place. They always take care of me and have the best ribs around. My favorite thing here though is the morning glory burger with an egg on top of a delicious 1/2 lb burger. The bartenders are attentive (Erin, Aleisha, Alec, and Erica) and the servers (Faith, Kayla, Joey, and Jessica come to mind) are very accommodating. I know I'm missing a few here. The cooks and kitchen managers rock. Tim, Robert, John, Rodney and Billy to name just a few. The manager Kurt always check on me to make sure everything is the way I need it. On top of that some of the customers they deal with are not the easiest people to deal with and they handle them with more grace than I could no doubt. Went back after a bit away, out of brisket and sausage...Huh? Oh well , mgr nicely apologized. Had 1/3 St Louis ribs and pulled pork, spouse had 1/3 ribs also. NOT fall off the bone, but tasty, better available here in town (like numerous), waiter was really slow and never noticed empty water/tea, took forever to bring refills, dessert (as recommended by mgr) also took forever and finally cancelled. Oh, the bill was over $35 and spouses fried chips (yeech!) were still on plate and waiter asked "want them to go"? and was told no they were bad. Same told to mgr when delivered. Oh well I sorta expected an attempt to persuade us to return, like o coupon or free appetizer or dessert....no way. So no way and forever before we return. read more

My husband loved this place. Until 4.28.2015. Food Poisoning. Call the Manager Ron and he upheld the food. We got a to go 1/3 ribs and slaw. Yeah 1 hour later he was tossing cookies and making pancake batter on the white throne. Not a good way to be in of course. Even when we got our food they did not even put utensils in the to go bag and had to beg for ketchup and mayonnaise pack. It was like I had three orders and three orders of fries and two burgers. 1 pack for each. I had to threaten I would go to the store and buy my own after she went back to the back to retrieve 1 more of each to give to me. Luckily I got napkins. This place is very poor in service and the manager did not even try to compensate for the mishap. I gave them another chance this was the last straw!!! read more

Believe these bad reviews of this place that people write. Sloooooooooooow service. Been there twice but the last time we were there, we walked in at the same time with another couple we didn't know. They went first and got seated. We waited 10 minutes after. My wife said, the fat woman that sat us, gave her a dirty look. Then we sat down, literary 33 minutes and no one came by, not even to ask us what we wanted to drink. Within those 33 minutes, that couple already had a waiter take their orders. We were dressed nice too. There was a guy who worked there, kept waking by us while we were seated. Angrily, we got up and started to walk off, the same guy worker/waiter, asked if we were leaving. We said, yes. He said he can take our orders now. We just ignored him then walked off. 43 minutes in that place for NOTHING!!!! So, my wife and I decided to get burgers and some alcohol for us to drink at home and rent a movie. Can't go wrong with a movie, your girl and some good wine. Since moving to fort benning, my husband and I have been here twice. I won't be coming back again. I will say that each visit the waitresses were pretty decent. I'd probably say above average. They were quick to refill drinks and were just very pleasant. The first trip, I ordered a burger. It was so large it was just falling apart in my hands, I tried to stack it but it would just fall apart. I don't care for confronting staff about meals so I just separated the meat and ate it like a steak. I don't think I've ever had to do that. Saturday night we were in the area and it was literally the only restaurant without a wait. So I said I'll give it another try. I ordered a sandwhich. When it came out the bread that was on the bottom was so soggy it just fell apart between my fingers. At this point I actually did say something to the waitress. I feel bad because it's not really her fault but at this point I don't want to waste more money at this place on food that I can't eat. When the bill came she took it off the bill. I didn't ask her to but she did anyways and I appreciated it. If I could just get food that was edible we would be more frequent guests. But two attempts is enough for me. read more
