This was my first time at this location in Conyers and I've very happy that I stopped by on a whim. I was so satisfied with everything. My server was so sweet and attentive. I forgot her name but she has her head shaved on both sides and a huge beautiful fro on top. She was fast, she kept our drinks refilled, she brought our food out hot and continued to make sure we were taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. I would've tipped her $100 if I could. Now let's talk about this amazing burger I had. I got the Smokehouse Burger with onion rings and barbecue baked beans. EVERYTHING was amazing. I damn near inhaled that food. The burger was so juicy, the sauce was perfect. The beans were really good. The onion rings were cooked the perfection, nice and crispy! This was our first time at this restaurant. The reviews were mixed so I gave it a try. This place did not disappoint. It was a little quite probably because it was Christmas Eve. We had a young little waitress who was very pleasant. The appetizers are large enough to split. We were full after eating them. We couldn't finish our main course we were so full. We definitely got our money's worth. I ordered these very large nachos- couldn't even make a dent in them it was so big. I will definitely come back here for dinner and I will make sure to be super hungry before I go lol. read more

The food is constantly good. I don't like the plasticware after a certain hour but the food and service was fine.

A generous three stars. Second visit here. Each time the servers were great. That's can only make me come back so many times expecting everything else to rise to that level. I had pick two this time. Smoked wings and sausage with fries and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was horrible. The fries were much better than the wedges I had at a prior visit. Part of The smoked sausage was burnt. The smoked wings were great. My buddy had the turkey club. The turkey was dry. We each ordered cocktails but they did not arrive until after we finished our pork belly sticks appetizer, which was good. They apparently had been ready but no on brought them until we asked. My drink was a Gold Rita. Perhaps it sat too long and settled but it tasted of mostly mix. Unfortunately stirring didn't help. I forget what my buddy drank but it was a pretty good drink. I understand being short staffed. Our server was also the host. He was great except we wished we had been told that they were out of brisket when we were seated. We both were getting brisket dishes. The wings, ribs, bbq mag-nachos, baked beans, fire roasted corn, Homemade Brunswick stew, mixed Berry cheesecake, and the skillet corn bread was great. The Ribfest is awesome. Where can you go get a slab of ribs and two sides for $19.99? The food prices are really great. Some of my co-workers had never been to Smokey Bones, but overall they really enjoyed the food service. Overall it's just an okay restaurant. The food is priced great but the lack of staff has some of the waiters having to bust their tails. We went after work and it took about 10 minutes before we were seated. Our waiter Nick went above and beyond his role, having to do hosting, bust tables and serve us. We had reserved a table so were seated right away, but then we waited over an hour for our food. Waitress said there was a "glitch" in the kitchen, but others who came in after us had their food long before ours came. When it did arrive, the chicken and the potato wedges I ordered were very dry. The pulled pork was pretty good and so was the cornbread which they brought us because our food had taken so long. The food here has always been pretty good and it still is. The service I received from Carmen was exceptional!!! She was on top of everything and super cool! My only complaint about the evening was the beer... So they have a pretty extensive beer menu, probably 50 or so beers. Sounds good rt??? Well after checking with the bar Carmen informed me that they were out of my 1st selection. Ok, could happen at anyplace around town. No biggie if it happens once, but I went through 3 selections before I found a beer they actually had. My 4th choice, it felt like a game show of "guess what beer we got" and your prize is getting to drink an old beer that is only there because no one else has asked for it yet. Terrible service. We came in on a Saturday and they had 1 elderly bartender who had no clue what she was doing. We waited for 30 mins for someone to clear the bar plates in front of us and wipe the bar. She never came nor greeted us. She didnt even acknowledge we were there with an " I'll be with you in one moment". All the server were in the kitchen area watching here self destruct which was kind of sad. We came here today with a big group of 12 and they were able to accommodate which was great. The service was good, although multiple orders came out incorrect, and one was not even put in so it came out 20 min after the rest. We also were a little disappointed as about 15 min after we placed our orders, the waitress came back to let us know they didn't have any turkey. we thought we would go to Smokey Bones for lunch today. we could only see a couple patrons in the restaurant. two ladies said they would be there to assist in a few minutes, but never came to seat us. after waiting and watching, no one ever came to seat us. I called the restaurant from with and was told with a frustrated voice that someone would be there shortl. this type of service is unacceptable especially when the restaurant was not busy.
