So my girlfriend worked there about 3.5 yrs ago maybe. Thank god she got out but knows a couple people still there. This place is GROSS!! They had a huge mouse problem, but the GM wouldn't get an exterminator, they put down sticky traps. Then the mice died behind the bar and couldn't be removed so reeked of dead animal for months. The bartenders were a joke, the girls were so foul and rude, the outfits were awful they allowed them to wear. Went there 2 weeks ago, yep still the same. Had awful service at the bar. My girlfriend said the GM would SCREAM at the servers and never the kitchen but the kitchen ran 45 min checks every weekend. I witnessed this every weekend I was there. The whole management team was awful and I saw several still there 2 weeks ago. They knew drugs were pouring into the rest and 2 girls got several people addicted and they allowed it. My gf said customers complained about how high servers were, not talking pot here. Before the rest would open it was known that one tall blonde would shoot up in bathroom. Again the GM and other managers knew. Employees said it's still the exact same. The food is bad and takes forever, bartenders are rude and just tragic. **Starting a tradition with the kids, so first criticism from the eyes of children.** Walked in right around noon, not to many people, kids were scared it was going to be bad. Much to our surprise there were plenty of options for the kids. One child got the kid ribs, which according to him delicious!! They fell right off the bone. Other kid had chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. He too thought it was delicious. Now adult stuff: The smoked wings were to die for, we did lemon pepper and it wasn't smothered with rub and was perfectly cooked. We got a burger and sandwich, which we both got lettuce wrapped. The service was amazing, our waiter had a fun personality. His name was Jason and he was amazing! Dessert was a chocolate cake, and it was moist and delicious as well Negatives: no actual kids menu (staff was very knowledgeable about what is on it, so no big deal) and lack of fun children drinks.(bartender made the boys a Shirley Temple). read more

Very good Restaurant. I travel 1 hour and 15 mins to go to the restaurant. Ribs are always the best choice with a homemade BBQ sauce. I've had several other items; Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken Mac & Cheese, all really good dishes. This restaurant sets the bar high to other chain restaurants. Every time i go i ask for the same waiter. A waiter can make the dinner pleasant or unpleasant depending on their attitude. I always request Deshawn. Nothing has every been wrong on the food that i order or the custom made drink from the bar. He has a very positive attitude and any question you have about the menu he can answer. We came in Saturday Evening after the dinner rush had subsided. We were seated quickly and found the atmosphere surprisingly quiet and relaxed. Our waitress, Melanie quickly appeared and took our drink order. Just as quickly as she arrived at our table, it seemed she had returned with our drinks and then took our order. The food order was delivered a short time later and was refreshingly 100% accurate. Melanie was an attentive top notch server - she even stopped by to refill our drinks before we needed to ask. The food delivered was hot and tasted great, and I felt it was a great value for the cost. I walked away totally satisfied with the entire dining experience. I will be returning soon! read more

Im from the uk and everytime we go to nyc we have to go here. first time i loved burger and wine in the park what more could you need. then i tried the burger and oh my god. they are amazing worth the queue and the wait. this year we had the normal burger each and shared a smoke Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill (we had to have both incase we didnt go back haha) the smoke Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill takes their burgers to another level. all the flavours and a completely different sauce with a bit of fire and kick. anyone who goes nyc and doesnt go here is a fool. just wish we lived nearer so we could visit more often. read more

I met my father for a late dinner saturday evening. Our service was excellent. He got a pick two meal with ribs and brisket. Everything was great. I talked to my father a little later that night. He informed me that on his drive home he turned around and went back to Smokey Bones. After having such a great time he believed that there was actually no brisket on his plate! When he returned the first person he saw was our waitress Lib. She was happy to correct anything that may have been wrong. Dad left with some brisket to go and enjoyed it during the ride home. Always said I wanted to try this place and I am sooooo happy I finally did. I wish I would have sooner. We went to the Robinson Township location. We had our share of ribs, chicken, sausage, mac n cheese, potato wedges, and we tried all the sauces. Absolutely everything we ate was so ridiculously delicious and all the sauces were so yummy. Even the ranch was delicious. The price tag is a little on the expensive side but the food was not at all disappointing. We are definitely going back to try some more of the food here. read more

This is my first review i think I've ever done but i had such wonderful service from my waiter Justin and wasn't able to do the survey at the table for him since i paid with cash. Came here to use a coupon i had and it was pretty busy and looked understaffed. Got sat and greeted very quickly by Justin. Always smiling even though it looked like he had tables all over the place. It may be a chain BBQ restaurant but Dustin the bartender is awesome! Went here with a friend, sat at the bar and tried a few IPA's and got 2 for $20 smoked meat dish. Food was great, drinks were on point. The reason for the five stars is my friend and I went back two weeks later and sat at the bar and Dustin remembered us and met us with a beer as we sat down. This place was absolutely phenomenal. A great variety of different foods, great service, TVs to watch the game and the onion rings are the best I have ever tasted. The waitress was very friendly and the manager, Julianna, checked on us twice, and even talked with us for a little bit. If you are in town, this is the place to eat!!!
